“The food was good , I ordered off Uber eats & the called because they didn’t have Mountain Dew which I appreciate most restaurants just give you whatever if they don’t have something. I got the Mac and cheese and bake beans with the large Turkey tip the Mac was moist and cheese and the bake beans were cooked to perfection however I did pay extra for extra sauce on my tips and there were hardly any sauce on it… the pound cake would’ve been delicious had it not been frozen it takes away the moisture!! Also it’s says they are closed when they are actually open so you have to just stop by because also they don’t answer the phone“
“What a great overall experience. Pizza was delivered in a timely fashion tonight. The sweet taste of the sauce was perfect and the slight crispiness of the crust was exactly we were hoping for as well. The service is great, the bartenders are really good, the food is really good and it gets a bit crowded but you never feel closed in. The outside accommodation was comfortable even when it was cold out, and the lower level option was great since we had a few more people. I’m guessing they used Seitan as the “meat” which was served sliced on a hot grilled pita with tzatziki and veggies and a side of fries. Everything was fresh, hot and tasty and the employees were polite and provided good service. My only complaint, the big ugly squeaky Styrofoam box my food was served in. I had the fish, Mac and cheese, collards, stuffing. The best fried fish I HAVE EVER HAD. It tasted home-made. “It was a little after 9:00pm on a Saturday, when I spotted this J & J Restaurant. I went inside to place my order and was immediately impressed by its cleanliness. The floor, tables/seats, counters and the food preparation area...all very clean.The young woman that took my order was friendly and courteous. There was only one person ahead of me, however, some people had phoned in their orders, so there was a waiting period. I didn't mind because the time went so quickly. Also, unlike other J & J's, this one has a drive-thru.I ordered 3 dinners to go; a small jack salmon, a small ocean perch and a 6 pc. chicken wing dinner. Extras included an order of fried okra, hush puppies and a corn on the cob (a full size ear). Each dinner included:French fries, a very small cup of coleslaw and 2 slices of white bread in addition to the mild and hot sauce they provide.The fish was fried to perfection, light and crispy, not greasy. The chicken was also fried to perfection, crispy and not hard or greasy. All the side dishes were well prepared. Since none of us eats coleslaw or white bread, I can't speak about them.As for being different, in addition to its drive-thru, this J & J offers a variety of foods that I've never seen offered in any of the others; tacos, spaghetti, and a selection of salads, just to name a few.“

I got a pound of Alaskan King crab legs, and while they didn’t come with crab crackers, we only had a little trouble breaking the meat out. Phenomenal crab legs. They came with perfectly seasoned red potatoes and corn on the cob. My partner ordered (fried) shrimp tacos and could not stop raving about them. The shrimp was very fresh. We also ordered fresh cut fries and they were outstanding, though they could use a bit more seasoning. But extra seasoning was brought upon request. The owner, Shawn, brought out the food, was attentive to our needs, and even struck up a friendly conversation as we left. “We arrived here after an overnight stay at the water park. My granddaughter had worked up an appetite and she wanted some Salmon. They didn’t have Salmon but they had catfish. We got a catfish dinner and a grilled wing dinner greens, yams, Mac and cheese. The catfish and greens were fantastic. She gave me a thumbs up, she ate two servings of greens and both fillets of catfish. I ordered the grilled wings but they wreaked of lighter fluid or chemicals, I was a bit disappointed, I ate the Mac and cheese and the yams and both corn breads but I am definitely going to sample it before I leave next time because I know they had to do know, if I’m not mistaken I think I saw the “grilled “ wings sitting in a gravy or something. Anyway we would definitely go back to give them another try.Update:I went back to give the baked wings a redo and they were the bomb as well as The greens, the Mac, the yams and the dressing but what stood out the most was the hospitality.
