“The pizza is really good! Moving forward I will not order anything else from here. Their mozzarella cheese is not good in their appetizers or the god mother sandwich. The sandwich felt like it was just a chicken tender in the bread with the mozzarella cheese.“
“Wow this pizza is excellent!! Cooked to perfection, the crust is just right not too thin and not to thick. Had a sausage and mushroom pizza and let me tell yeah this right up there with one of the best pizzas I ever had. We asked if we could eat there not really a full service restaurant more for pick-ups. But either way they were very accommodating and friendly. These fellas are great and the pizza is a 10! Definitely recommend and will be a favorite from now on.“
“This is old school pizza. It’s very good. This is the type of place where you can throw the kids at one table with a pitcher of pop and a pizza while the adults drink pitchers of beer at another table. I miss old family restaurants like this.“
“This place is truly a gem in the south suburbs! If you're not local it's worth the drive. Really a fun place to enjoy delicious food, great drinks, and excellent music! The owners and staff are friendly, welcoming, and attentive. If the eclectic decor could speak, I'm sure it'd have some epic stories to tell! If you're looking to have a good time in a cool spot, this place will check all the boxes!“
“What a great overall experience. Pizza was delivered in a timely fashion tonight. The sweet taste of the sauce was perfect and the slight crispiness of the crust was exactly we were hoping for as well. Tried the wings and cheesy garlic bread as an appetizer and those were amazing as well. Check out Pizza Pete next time you need dinner.“
“Thin crust crispy tavern style pizza!! I’ve had many pizzas and different styles, but this is the best I’ve had in a while. We had the pepperoni with hot gardenia peppers and for apps jalapeño poppers and sausage toasted ravioli. The pizzas are def made with love and had that PERFECT crisp bite!! Can’t wait to come back for some more and this place is CASH ONLY ??Kid-friendliness: High chairs for babies.“
“Went in for dinner with my daughters, and the ambiance was so friendly, being greeted when walking in. We did not have to wait long for a table for 5, we had the cod dinner, pizza, chicken tenders, and cheeseburger. The girls and I loved it. Can't believe we moved to Midlothian over a year ago and we just tried this place!! We sure have been missing out.“
“Love Rosati's in Midlothian! It's so good every time. Eveyeone that works there is very nice. We order all the time. Great pizza, salad, tenders, alfredo & the cinnamon sticks. Everything is always hot & delicious. Glad to have a place like this in Midlothian.“
“Real gem of a deli in Willow Spring. Staff really efficient, focused, and friendly. Standard deli menu supplemented with creative options—Super Deluxe All-Beef Slim Jim sandwich anyone? I had an excellent shrimp and crab cake po boy (pictured) and my companion had the whitefish dinner. The place had a steady stream of locals—this deli is clearly a local lunch hot spot. And for good reason—good food and good value. Not much seating inside, but a decent-sized patio out back which will be great in warm weather.“
“First off, I absolutely love Hawaiian pizza, but finding a good one in Chicago has been tough. This weekend, during our adventure, we stumbled upon a pizza place with reasonable prices and a great menu. We ordered a Hawaiian BBQ pizza, but were surprised to find no pineapple chunks when we opened the box. Instead, they had blended the pineapple into the sauce, creating a deliciously unique flavor. As someone who is lactose intolerant, I'm always cautious about cheese quality since it can make me quite gassy. Luckily, this pizza didn't cause me any discomfort and paired perfectly with the beer we had. It really made our weekend special. Definitely give it a try if you have the chance!“
“Haven’t been to Aurelio’s to know how great of a pizza they serve. I also appreciated walking into the architectural space. It had a nice, old school, vintage, and woodsy feel with the chandelier lighting and the street signs decorations, as you walk in to be seated. Customer service was great. The waitress was awesome and took care of my drink, when refills were needed. As far as food goes, I ordered a Medium pizza with pepperoni, sausage, bacon, and garlic. The protein toppings were cooked phenomenally. They blended well with the garlic and cheese, melting in your mouth. The sauce was excellent. It wasn’t too salty and sweet. Had the right amount of flavor to blend the toppings together. The crust was crunchy and cooked perfectly to hold the pizza together. I’d definitely would come back.“
“At first when they first opened up I was disappointed. But they sure did change my opinion about them through out the last 6 time I have ordered from them. Excellent quality pizzas and they taste great. If you ask they will cook it to your liking as well this is why I have to give them 5 stars. Thank you for moving into the area!“
“l have been a longtime customer and finally gave up on them! the customer service is horrendous. l sat on hold for 15 minutes trying to order a pizza. third is at 545 on Monday night. while l was on hold l called beggars pizza on 143rd just west of wolf placed an order and was told to pick it up in 25 minutes. pizza pete finally came on and the girl who finally answered the phone after a second call on hold for 8 minutes. they used to be so good but now they can't even take orders on the phone.“
“Aldolpho was our server and he did a great job. He was pleasant and accommodating. We had the chicken sausage and hot peppers pan pizza it was good. The BBQ wings were cooked to perfection. The staff sang happy birthday ? and was extremely enthusiastic. We had really good timeKid-friendliness: Extremely kid friendly take the whole family and enjoy some quality pizza and above average cocktails“
“Eden Y Alex know what's going on in pizza town. It's almost like they never even tried making tacos before. They have been Making pizza on their own since they were just children in their hometown of Jalisco in the michochanna region. Now they are living the fast city life over in blue island trying to make American pizza business dream come true. Pizza is very delicious tasting and comes with cheese and sauce.“
“Living in chicago my whole life and pizza being one of my favorite foods. I get pizza by the slice here since I don't eat a whole pizza anymore. Good sauce, crispy fresh crust and just enough (good)cheese with Italian erbs on top. Tons of flavor. One of my families favorite spots. Good price. Very Fri and polite. I can't say enough good thing about both locations I know of I'm Mokena and on Cicero Ave.Kid-friendliness: Very friendly“
“I just got off the phone with Migele from the Evergreen Park store and had some issues with my order. I'm severely handicapped and asked for curbside pickup, and also a change to the order. Migele was very accommodating and did a great professional job. And my sister said that the pizza was very good. Thanks again Miguel ?“
“The Chicago styled pizza is amazing !!! I love the burnt styled cheese on it !! First time trying this place and I loved it !! I will definitely be back to try more pasta and ofcourse the pizza !! It is now one of my favorite places . I also got the Gnocchi which really showcases the sauce here ! The tomato soup was a great choice it had a lot of flavor and I’m glad if tryed it . My service was fast and great . Nice spacious place with a lot of booth seating .“
“Ordered a small thin crust from uber eats juss being lazy & not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Pizza sauce is very tasty, wish I had ordered it on the side for dipping my pizza in. Just the right amount of crisp in the crust and it was cooked Just how I like it. I will definitely order from here again. The only thing I didn't like was that my pizza wasn't sealed in any type of way to prevent it from being tampered with while it was being delivered. Maybe perhaps some stickers to prevent the box from being open, or put the pizza in a paper bag then staple it up at the end. Otherwise very good pizza.“
“I've heard pretty good reviews about this place. However I think I may have caught them at a bad time. I seem to get what was an older piece of pizza that was not very warm or appealing. I did not complain because the staff was friendly. And I didn't feel like it was fair to ask for any type of replacement that late before close. However, I do wish that the product had met my expectations a little bit more. I'm unsure if I would recommend to family or friends but go ahead and give them a try. Maybe your experience will be better than mine.“
“Good tasting pizza and not over-cooked which is hard to find these days. Ordered a deep dish but they put the cheese on the very top instead of the sauce so it slides off when you try to pull out a slice. Wouldn’t call it a traditional deep dish but still good. Also beware they are cash only. Feedback to leadership: while I appreciate your old school ways, it would be appreciated if the cash-only policy was communicated when the order was originally placed instead of surprising me when I arrived to pick up the pizza. Also a pizza box would be nice for leftovers instead of a paper wrapper.“
“Not only is their pizza delicious and on point but it is the best pizza in Clearing that actually cares about the neighborhood! I will always support them. You don’t find genuine owners that give back to their neighborhood! They just showed me an act of kindness that will forever keep my loyalty to them. Happy 4 years!!!“
“Their pasta was an absolute delight! Fresh homemade cooked to perfection. You must try the « SPAGHETTI*AL CARTOCCIO » simply the best pasta I’ve tried in a long time and I do eat out a lot! Their pizza was ok but nothing to brag about.I only gave 3 stars for service because I find it annoying how fast they want to clear our plates each time they pass by. They also need to tone it down with how intensively they want to wipe the table while you barely just finished your meal. However I would definitely come back for their pasta alone!“
“Omg this was our first time there Saturday and this pizza is so delicious ?. We ordered the thin crust chicken sausage and Jalapeno's. The pizza barely made it home!! Seasoned well nice crispy thin crust. Reminds me of Italian fiesta pizza. We will definitely be back. It's take out only. But if you wanna eat and watch the game it's connected to a cool bar. We had a couple drinks while waiting for our pizza. 9/10“
“I’m not normally a fan of thin crust pizza, but we had to order it bc most of the preference in my group and even Brama’s thin crust was amazing - let alone the other pizza styles! The wings were also super tasty, definitely would order the spicy barbecue again! I also love the option of the super large pizzas perfect for big groups and families ??10/10 and the serve was amazingVegetarian options: Margherita Pizza“
“It was a cute experience with my girlfriend!! The food was very good and definitely what I expected from a small diner. The atmosphere was homey and kinda retro. And the staff was just excellent!! Always treating us with respect and getting food/drinks out super quickly. That made the experience the best!!!“
“First time me and my daughter at Chicago, we definitely needed to try Giordano’s famous deep dish pizza, and the recommendations are true; Best pizza in town. We had a small Chicago classic. This will be my to-go spot for pizza each time I come.“
“We eat here weekly. The pizza is the best in the Southland. The bar has a "Cheers" vibe where all are welcome. Pizza is half off on Tuesday and every one in town knows that's the best dinner option! Don't take my word for it, you really must try it out!“
“I usually really enjoy this place and I have no problems with waiting for good hot foodBut what I do have a problem is with saying you make everything fresh and today I get what seemed like a microwaved bowl or something but out of the 4 times I came 3 times the food was fresh n steaming hot but today I was disappointed“
“LoveLove love it!Whole family enjoy it.Grandma like it! OkSo.We love the original taste!I fully recommend this place.Service is great! The food came out just in time for all to enjoy.Dietary restrictions: Ask the Chef.Kid-friendliness: Got chair's.“
“The service is top notch and down to earth. The cheese they use is grade A! I've had the deep dish before but wasn't a fan, only because it's too sweet of a sauce for my taste. However I recently tried the thin crust and it worked very well under the cheese with the sausage, bell pepper, onions and mushrooms. Seems like they saute the bell peppers and they are long pieces not diced. It's costly pie but we did get the 18 inch with 4 toppings, which came to $40. But all costs are rising. I would definitely come back to get a personal pizza for myself! I will have them brown the cheese next time. Definitely worth a try. I enjoyed the antipasto salad, just wish they chopped the meat and cheese instead of long slices that were still partially connected. I had to re-cut it which I didn't particularly mind doing but prefer it done for me if I'm paying for it.“
“I don't like to leave a review of a place I've been to only once. Needless to say, I have been to The Works Tavern a few times and it's some of the best food in Chicago, especially on the south side. Mike is a culinary expert and my last visit proved it. I legitimately had the best Philly Cheesesteak I've ever had. The steak was juicy, the bread was soft and the cheese was super cheesy (10/10).The food is always fresh, the beer is always cold and my kids love the pizza! On our last visit, we ordered the fried zucchini, a pepperoni pizza, wings, and the Philly cheesesteak. Everything was delicious and we washed it down with $3 Pacifico beers. Can't beat that.“
“The place was NOT what you'd expect from the outside. It's a VERY CLEAN, newly decorated bar/pub table area. The food was above average! We had mushroom appetizers and burgers and they were both cooked to perfection and the fries were delicious. But what's not to love about WONDERFUL PEOPLE WHO are FRIENDLY AND KIND THAT SERVES YOU. ANN was the bartender/ waitress and she was one of the nicest people we've met in a long time. Fun conversation, feel like I've known her forever!! Everything WAS GREAT and I've been a total "Karen" lately because of so many bad places!! PUB FOOD AT IT'S BEST, a diamond in the rough!! Give it a try!!!“
“I have been coming to Palermo's for 30 years. The food is always good. Large portion sizes. I had my wedding reception there and would recommend it to anyone. The Sicilian Style Grill Shrimp is the best dish. It has a unique flavor.“
“I had a burger that was excellent. Cooked perfectly and taste very good. Server was very friendly and able to offer good beer recommendations since it was my first time here. The ambiance was nice as the patio offered a good outdoor seating area on the roof with a nice space. The music was pretty good also. The downstairs offered a seating area that was nice with large brewing stations to see. Bright colors and can be kid friendly. I would go back I believe the mosaically-yours ipa , delerio ipa, and the ideative-dom ipa beers were my preferred choices. Worked out well since I enjoy IPAs. The speculator cream ale...I literally felt like I could taste the corn flavor in it. Very interesting flavor. Overall, if you like trying out new beers its a place to stop in and visit and get a good burger or salad why not.“
“Great deep dish pizza and salads! Service was amazing. We stopped by while in town for a basketball tournament. The owner made us feel like family and took such great care of us. We had a party of 6, so we squeezed into a booth. They only have a few booths, so plan accordingly. Don't underestimate this little gem!“
“So we've had Sal's a handful of times already and it's great! we usually get pizza and wings not a complaint from anyone in the family! I'm usually really picky with sauce and I like this alot. we also ordered tacos from here they're good but small is the only thing negative to say. We'll definitely be back again and again!“
“Very cool environment, just went there before Christmas with work buddies. Tara was our bartender, she was a great time & took care of all our needs. Annie was another bartender there that was super social & absolutely awesome to talk to. I'd highly recommend this place for a great social experience & high energy good time!“
“I've been coming here all my life. Obviously the pizza set-ups are the main draw but do yourself a favor and get meat here too. The Italian wine sausage is amazing. The Irish garlic sausage is a treat for the grill. The only thing they didn't have was corned beef. Nevertheless, this place rocks.“
“A friend brought me here for the first time, specifically for the pot roast dishes. I had the Flatbread and it is delicious! It is a bar, and has limited space, but for 2 of us at lunchtime we had the whole back room that was quiet. Cici was super nice and attentive. We very much enjoyed our visit.“
“I ordered the Brisket Pizza and it was amazing, down to the drizzle of BBQ sauce on top! It was cheesy and the brisket was perfectly seasoned. The portion size was so generous that my family and I were able to have leftovers. The Service was excellent; the staff was very friendly and made sure my order was hot even though I was late picking it up. I can't wait to go back and try the other menu items!“
“My first time here & I thought it was very good, good selections, I got a 4 cheese, a BBQ pork (which was my favorite) Ham & Cheese was also very good. Service was quick, prices we good as well, large selection of canned & bottled drinks. Very limited seating, 1 table & small counter looking out the window with 6 stools. Lots of folks getting take out.“
“First time hereFood was excellent ??highly recommend ?We stayed for a few drinks and played the slots.. ? ?didn't win but had funI would definitely go back for the food?I Got the Italian beef it was one of the best I ever had ?I love the fact that they pay tribute to the local high school??(I also went to that high school? )Also I'd like to point out the restrooms, when I say they were the nicest and cleanest restrooms I have EVER been in in a tavern I promise you they were!Definitely a local barHad a good timeSorry no photos the food looked so good and I was starving so we dug right in but it was great!Additional parking in back“
“I ordered a pizza, side of mushrooms and Caesar's salad. Overall, pizza was on the dry side. Crust was crispy and chewy. It could have had more toppings, but based on price point, I got what I paid for. Mushrooms were amazing and for the price, you get a lot. Caesar's salad? Don't waste your money. Doesn't look anything like the photo. Basically, lettuce with 10 small croutons. The parm cheese was from a can and not shaved. Definitely not worth $13. I would get another pizza from them, but would make my own salad.“
“Tucked away in Hickory Hills on Roberts Rd just North of 95th, The Sock Bar & Grill is a sports aficionado's paradise that serves up not only a winning lineup of games on multiple TVs but also a menu that'll keep you coming back for more. The moment you step in, the atmosphere envelops you in the true spirit of a sports bar. The buzz of excitement fills the air, amplified by the sights and sounds of games on every screen. They greet you with genuine smiles, ready to recommend a drink or chat about the latest game. The fried pickles are a game-changer--thick-cut and perfectly crispy, they're a savory delight that keeps you reaching for more. The loaded nachos bring a fiesta to your taste buds with layers of cheese, fresh toppings, and just the right kick of spice. And let's not forget their flatbread pizza--Chicago style at its finest, boasting flavorful toppings atop a crispy crust that's pure satisfaction. The Chicago dogs pack a punch of flavor, although they fell slightly short without the iconic poppyseed bun. Nevertheless, the taste is spot-on, a tribute to the Windy City's famous dog. But it's not just the food that scores big at The Sock Bar & Grill--the drinks are fantastic! Whether it's their signature cocktails or a classic brew, they've got something to quench every thirst. And amidst the excitement and delicious bites, there's one constant--a welcoming smile from Kasha (spelling might need correction), who adds an extra touch of warmth to the experience. Overall, The Sock Bar & Grill hits a home run with its inviting atmosphere, mouthwatering menu, and stellar service. It's the kind of place where sports enthusiasts, foodies, and friends gather for an unforgettable time. So, grab a seat, cheer for your team, and indulge in a winning combination of great food, drinks, and hospitality at The Sock Bar & Grill. Cheers to a fantastic game day experience!“
“JOE'S-A TRUE MOM+POP RESTAURANT! I am a purist when it comes to pizza. Cracker thin crust w/ mild homemade sauce + Italian sausage, top it w/ith a generous heap of mozzarella cheese, then cook it well done in an old school pizza oven. Walla - I present to you the most delicious thin crust pizza you will ever taste. Joe's Villa offers other fare but their pizza is my go to. And a large 14" pizza is under $20. If Reenie is your server, tell her Youraverage Gourmet says hello!“
“The two slices & soda deal for $7 is perfect, its filling & actually tastes good . There’s not many places anymore that offer good food for a cheap price but that deal is definitely good quality pizza for a cheap budget . One slice is pretty filling on its own, the dough is really thick so it can definitely feed two people if you need it to . 2 slices for one person tho & trust me, you’re full for hours . Amazing deal, great quality pizza slices, I will definitely be ordering more often .“
“First time ordering Obbies Loved it! cracker thin, well done,we moved to berwyn last summer.Pizza joints on this side are ok nothing to order again. If Obbies could only open another small spot to go on Ogden would be the Sh#$.Anyways Great old school pizza Phenomenal!“
“We have been fans of Italian Villa Pizza for years. We had out of town family come in and they requested Italian Villa Pizza. Our order was correct, it was ready exactly at the requested pick up time and of course, as always, was tasty and delicious. Our Pizza Friday Night was a success thanks to everyone at Italian Villa Pizza. Highly recommended.“
“I love going in the Russo's because they know exactly what I'm talking about and if they don't my husband stops in so on that note I've always let them do what we need to be done. I'm not giving it away of what we did LOL but hats off to Russo'sParking: Parking was no problem you can park anywhere basically.“
