“We were driving around downtown Alton with our moms and stopped in for a drink—what a spot! The inside of the bar has all the things—huge and beautiful wood bar, tables aplenty, TVs playing all the sports all games, slots, and the best part of all: Ricky the bartender, who welcomes everyone regardless of who they are with a warm smile and story after story to make you feel like you are at home. “I love the atmosphere! Tons of games on the TV. People having a good time watching the games. There is a bar there to get all your drinks. The menu has appetizers and sandwiches and a few dinner plates. I was kinda shocked there was not more to choose from since this is in a casino! Some casinos have a buffet but they did not. However the bar tender was super nice. The food was great.“
“We hadn't been to Applebee's in a while because the last time we were there we were really disappointed in the food not this time The food was delicious the black and salmon was chef's kiss the waitress and for the love of God I cannot remember her name but she was so nice I think it was Ashley I'm not sure but I know she had a 2-year-old and it was going to be his birthday so I do remember that but the food was really good it was hot it was fresh service was excellent restaurant was clean I mean it's the fanciest restaurant in Alton so I don't know what else to tell you. And when I say the fanciest in Alton I mean it's fancy for the price are there other restaurants that are more expensive Yes do I feel like going to get a prom dress to go there no.“
“Nice laid back spot with great food and wonderful customer service! Nice variety to choose from and even the location is great! I recently went and when I tasted their food! OMG AMAZING ANNNDDDD THEY HAVE BEER CHEESE! Brought back memories. “I was in town for the tenth anniversary of the brewery Side Project. However, I also wanted to check out the craft beer scene in St. Louis in general and read that this place served a lot of Narrow Gauge beers from their brewery next door. I got four of their beers and they were all great, especially the mild which was amazing and probably one of the best milds that I've ever had and they absolutely nailed it. It is a style that you don't often see outside of the UK either. I also got some food too. I had the chicken wings first and they were nothing special. Next I got the stuffed meatballs and they were absolutely divine. Service was good too and friendly.“
“I spontaneously stopped by with my kiddos and sister today and I'm so glad we did! What a great restaurant/bar with an extensive menu! They have a wonderful kids menu with a lot of pinball machines!! We had such a good time! “Coltranes has always been a pretty laid back place. The place has been around since I was kid. During the day it's not real loud or anything. They have 2 pool tables and a few golfing machines. If you're looking for a place to relax, be able to talk without yelling and enjoy some food then this would definitely be a place to check out.“

“We had a 5 star expense at Bluff City Grill. The food was excellent. We had 6 in our party and everyone thought what they ordered was very, very good. The salads were fresh and well prepared. Sandwiches were also great. Two of us got the wings and they were perfectly cooked, crispy and delicious. They have a large variety of sides including three different vegetables.The service was outstanding friendly and efficient. We can’t wait to go back.“
