“My wife planned my surprise 40th birthday at Region. From start to finish the night was perfect. The food was impeccable and very well cooked. The staff was amazing, extremely helpful and just pleasant throughout the entire night. Everything went perfect and i would recommend anyone to have their private event at Region.“

“No wake is great. The servers and bartenders are really friendly. The prices at this bar are always reasonable. I always enjoy the food when I visit. Atmosphere is fun too. This bar is popular but gets more crowded in the summer months. Located on the Fox River it's always fun to stop while boating. They also have gas for refueling boats. There are also a lot machines and there is outdoor seating in the summer months. I would highly recommend visiting no wake.“

“After spending almost all day in Volo museum we wanted to have a nice dinner and this place was just 6 min away..I wish I took some picture of the food but I was starving.. the prime rib was a good portion. It was delicious..I ordered chicken Marsala and had a Chardonnay with it and all in all the experience was amazing. The waitress was cheerful and very accommodating and the price range was very affordable...we will definitely come back..“

“Stopped in quick for some pizza and to watch the game. Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved their tater tots. Pizza wasn't our style, but hit the spot after a long drive. Great place to watch the game.Parking: Lot is pretty small and a little difficult to get in and out of, but there was parking available.“

“All Inn is a must try! This hidden gem has the most attentive and welcoming staff. The pork tenderloin and homemade chips are delicious. The Bloody Mary and burger were very good too. The bar area is large and there are tables for all size parties. We will definitely be back.“

“Well, been passing by this place forever and this time we decided to stop in. Very sparse parking so we asked where to park and immediately the female bartender came outside and pointed to a few locations. She must have been an owner because it is rare and doubtful an employee would be so accommodating. Moving on..... We were seated, by the very nice and conscientious female bartender. She asked for our drink order and gave us menus........ So far so good......The food..... Corn Beef and Cabbage Dinner-Outstanding Monster Burger-Incredible Ruben-Great Patty Melt- Delicious Absolutely excellent all around. Not a single negative comment from anyone in our party. Oh, yeah! There was a gentleman talking to some people at the bar and was showing the coolest DUCK model to his friends. Said his buddy made them and was selling them for $5. My buddy immediately jumped up and bought it and asked for another one. Well the gentleman left the bar. Damn... no duck for me....... Hold on...... He returned with another duck in hand. I snapped it up and thanked him. That doesn't happen nowadays. How cool is that. The entire experience of that bar/grille was that of a typical Chicago old neighborhood tavern. Great people. Great food. special nod to the female bartender. Awesome lady who "gets it." We'll be back.....again and again.“

“This place is awesome as staff and customers are very friendly and food is always good. If you want something light the vegetable soup is great and comes with a warm dinner roll. Bar service is great and there are daily food and drink specials. Pizza is also excellent!!!“

“Nice bar with a large pool/darts area. They have slot machines as well. Drinks are reasonably priced and on certain days they have deals. Haven't tried the food yet but it looks good. The menu is fairly extensive so there are plenty of options. Looking forward to trying the food next time. The staff are awesome too.“

“First time here, I liked the name LOLWe had the chicken wings and Goat Curds (cheese curds). Tuesday is karaoke night. We didn't stay for that. No one wants to hear me sing. Hubby and I were given two tokens for a free drink next time we stop by and we will. I want to try a burger......Parking: It is very well lit up in the back of the building. You can enter from the front or back of the building and after a certain hour you can sit in front of the building where the window goes up. Cool....“

Only issue is they need to add some lower tables to bar area for people with disabilities that can't get onto bar stools. Will definitely be going back.Wheelchair accessibility: Hard to get through bar area with a walker because so many people are standing around visiting each other.“

“Love love this place stopped for a quick pick me up moment we had craft beer on can crystal lake brewery and lagunitas little sumpin sumpin both are very good beers CLB is a bit citrusy and light. Lagunitas will give you a buzz ? we had beef taco brisket to share wow taco’s were really tasty the corn tortilla was soft to bite into brisket meat was well seasoned with little pieces of onion as garnish and with side of salsa . They now offer breakfast we will have to check it out soon. Great place to sit at the bar for a drink and watch sports. very friendly service as always delicious food and drinks ?“

“I didn't eat any food so I gave 3 stats, I was there for the slots! This place is nice, great selection of games to play, AC is on SUPER COLD! Blows right on you so wear your thin coat! Only thing I didn't like was some lady wanted to use the machine I was on but when I was done she never asked me was I done. She walked to her punk husband and said "he's just sitting there and I wanna play!" Now I heard her but she decided to go to another guy who worked there and said she wanted to play where I was. Now 2/6 are in use, one im sitting at and just took my phone out. Next thing I know the husband is asking me from the bar am I playing? I was like naw just finished, like 10 sec later the worker guy walks up and says hey you can't sit here the lady wants to play here! I was like ok I know I heard her tell her husband '15ft away from me, and her husband told me as well, now I've got you telling me all within the last 40 secs... I get it. Funny the woman nvr said or asked me herself but she sends you guys like your some type of bouncer! She can ask herself right? The guy says 'well that happens sometimes', I said well don't act on it and next time ask if they asked the person first! We all grown adults here. I moved, she bumps me like I wasn't there, passes by me 2 more times hitting me with her purse and I like cmon! I know you see me here, you can feel yer purse being held up by something right?! That lady was scared of a 130 guy that looks like he still early 20's besides that it was fine! I was winning!“

“I had a chance to swing in last week and it's a nice, comfortable setting. The food was excellent if you are interested in Austrian/German bites. The people working here were super nice compared to similar tyes of places in the area. They even had a 50% off beer special going on! I will be returning for sure.“

“For the people of Carpentersville and the surrounding area it is a good place to spend a pleasant and fun time, it has pizza, pasta, wings and more, very good seasoning and flavor of the food, on Thursdays it has a special and drinks before 10:00pm and they have karaoke night and on Saturdays they have a DJ, you can eat, drink and dance in one place, they also rent the place to celebrate a party although I recommend that if it is family it is during the day, the attention of the waitresses is excellent and I know Good place because you've been there often.?????“

“Sat outside with the bees who kept trying to drink my beer. I had the tator skins, not bad and done beer that was scrumptious. Was the half way point on my bike ride and was a perfect spot with a great outdoor view of the lake. Will definitely be back! Super friendly staff.“

I can't eat pepperoni due to meds I'm on picking the off didn't work . It was late . Oh well mistakes happen .not end of world and my kid liked it . “Been trying to find a good burger at a good price in Palatine for 18 months. Finally found it on July 25, 2023 at TJ O'Briens Bar & Grill! Woo hoo! The place is humble, and the décor is what you'd expect to see at a local bar. However, if you're more interested in good food than fancy ambiance then this is the place for you. I got the "O" burger with fries for under $10 and it was by far the tastiest burger I've had in all of Palatine by far! You'll pay over $15 for a burger at Tap House across the street and it's not even close to what you'll get here. The tomato, lettuce and onion were super fresh (not the wilty mess you get at some places), the burger seasoned and delicious, and the fries crispy and good. My husband got the beef with onion rings and said the onion rings were the best he's ever had! Kudos to their chef! I'm not sure why other reviewers haven't figured out how good the food is here, but that's okay...more for me! I'm gonna be back.“
