“Met a friend for dinner and we stayed for 2.5 hours. Our server was great he never made us feel like we should leave. It was a week night and not very busy. Great food, great service!Parking: Plenty of parking in a lot behind the restaurant.“

“I have come to this candy shop for the last 10 years. That should speak for itself. If it doesn't, I'll say more:I absolutely love chocolate malts. Any place I go that has them, I always order one. SweetSpot makes the most INCREDIBLE malt I have ever had anywhere, and not once in 10 years has it been less than amazing! I took a friend a few months ago, telling them that the malts are the best and she was skeptical. Had one sip and said it was "50/10."However, if you aren't into malts, there are many other things to love. They have the widest variety of candies I have ever seen at one shop, plus some types of candy that I haven't seen anywhere else in 15 years, not to mention soda in actual glass bottles! Good luck finding those in your local grocery store! It seems impossible to find a real *candy* store anymore, as opposed to a store with a candy section.If you're in the area, SweetSpot is a must-visit. I'm moving several hours away tomorrow, but you can be sure that any time I come back to visit, I'll be stopping here for a malt!“

“No wake is great. The servers and bartenders are really friendly. The prices at this bar are always reasonable. I always enjoy the food when I visit. Atmosphere is fun too. This bar is popular but gets more crowded in the summer months. Located on the Fox River it's always fun to stop while boating. They also have gas for refueling boats. There are also a lot machines and there is outdoor seating in the summer months. I would highly recommend visiting no wake.“

“If you're around the greater Chicago area. Stop in and grab a concrete. That's what I did.I'm from Missouri and we are known for how great our frozen custard places are. “This was my first visit to Greg's Frozen Custard and I was impressed. I didn't know why my GPS was redirecting me through a neighborhood (Pleasure Drive - lol), but you have to enter off South Lake (by Auto Zone). We drove up and it was one of those stand-alone structures that you occasionally see (like a big ice cream cone) that are usually popular for the novelty. The flavor of the day was butter pecan. I ordered a scoop of butter pecan and added hot fudge and whipped cream. I was surprised by how thick and creamy and rich the custard was. The hot fudge was also thick, not a thin syrup, and this was a decadent treat. There were plenty of pecans in the custard. My friend had the chocolate custard and that was thick and rich with a satisfying flavor. We liked that the custard isn't overly sweet. There were just a handful of customers when we arrived but shortly thereafter the parking lot started to fill up. There is a gazebo with some seating but this was a rainy spring evening so we ate in the car. Now that I know you're here, Greg's Custard, I'll be back to try your other flavors.“

“My husband's birthday was great, thanks to La Pizza Via! With Ben's help, I surprised him on a Tuesday after work with an intimate dinner gathering with a few close friends in their dining area. It was the perfect setting for a quick surprise celebration. Ben took care of absolutely everything, from the ambiance to the food. All I had to do was send out invitations and get my husband there! The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. We can't recommend La Pizza Via enough – it's a wonderful spot for a special occasion.“

“Great selection of beers. You can get pints or flights. An excellent space. We came for trivia night and it was packed, but we still got served in a timely manner. The giant pretzel was good. Lots of places in the area deliver here, so even though there are no real food options on the menu you can get something delivered.“

“Had a great time stopping in for lunch on a Sunday. Tasty spicy Bloody Mary. So happy they bag interesting vegetarian options!!! This made my vegetarian friends happy and me because I picked it! Buffalo Cauliflower was just lightly battered and peefectly cooked with a good plate full. The chickpea curry was yummy and I had grilled chicken with it. The desserts looked yummy but not this trip. “Good choice for toppings on vanilla or chocolate soft serve ice cream. Soft serve was good quality but instantly turns runny in mostly anything other than a cone (eg sundae). Personally I'm a custard guy though and would rather have ice cream flavors instead of toppings. Next time we'll have to try their shaved ice.“

“Zin is a place that we don't visit often. The food is decent enough, but an extremely limited menu. The service was slow on a night where it wasn't very crowded, and I would say our meals were above average but definitely not something that I would recommend as a must go to. “This has become our favorite place to eat out. The food is so flavorful and different from a regular sandwich shop. Also, we are able to bring our dog with us and get him his own doggy meal. They don’t have the dog meals on the menu but they are available. They really should put a sign on the counter or a wall about them. Everything is served in a dog bowl which fits with the theme of the place. They have a wide variety of foods to choose from. I am currently trying to eat my way through the whole menu! The atmosphere is like a park. Some of the tables have swings to sit on. There is a little “grassy” area with giant Jenga and giant Connect Four games to keep the kids entertained. I love the huge wall mural which shows lots of cute dogs picnicking in a park. The staff is very nice and helpful. My whole family, including the dogs, love eating here!Parking: It is located in an open air mall so there is plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Swing seats available at some tables. He explained that the downstairs bar was the original architecture of the establishment with the main floor buffet being the old upper floor home of the previous owners.This establishment is family owned and has been around since the '70sRecent renovation has brought a castle aesthetic from outside.Everything is updated (modernized checkout, tap pay, etc) but it has kept it's classic feel.All ingredients are made in house, to include sauces, seasonings, pizzas, and a diverse menu that can be modified to your liking.Aside from the menu you can eat at the buffet style eatery on the main floor.The main floor encompasses a family-friendly area with arcade games.The absolute ONLY downside to this place is the parking lot.While being rustic and brick layed, it does not bode well for vehicles without adequate clearance from various potholes.So Don't bring your lowered Honda Civic.“

“The energy and vibe at night is really high. The bar is full and there is lots of seating. We sat at the bar and were greeted by the bartender right away. My husband ordered a Guinness Draught Stout and it was really delicious (not bitter at all) and I just had a sip of his and just drank some water. I am not really healthy enough to have an entire beer. When we ate here last time we signed up for the rewards program called 360 and on this visit we get a free pepperoni or cheese pizza. We also ordered the Chips, Pico, and Queso as an appetizer. (It was just ok this time... the chips were stale) They play uplifting music in the background that makes you want to get up and dance. There are 12+ TV's all across the room tuned into the different popular sports channels. This is a great place to come and unwind or people watch. We love the beer and pepperoni pizza!
