“This place has a good ambience and nice drinks. My wife loved her drink( fire and ice). Food was good, their rack of lamb was delicious but their chicken fried rice missed something ( some spices I guess) and was OK. Sushi rolls were too good to Not miss. Veg pot stickers are also good. Service was good.“

My sister in law loves ordering here for her party and that was when I tried their cakes and oh my goodness, It was one of the best cake I have ever had. Its a little pricey but Its so worth it. “Organic Rootz is such a piece of sunshine in Barrington! Delicious smoothies and bowls, i've yet to try their food items but i will be sure to try them soon. Lots of local organic brands, an herb wall for all the herbalist out there, vitamins and oils, and great customer service. they're always friendly and go the extra mile during service.“

“We always enjoy PL8, and last night was one of the best meals we've had there! The Fire Phoenix roll was amazingly delicious. It's now our all time favorite roll! We also enjoyed our old fashioned and Manhattan. The drinks were mixed to perfection, and they were generous pours. Our sushi appetizer pieces were huge and fresh, and they were presented beautifully, and the sesame shrimp was plentiful and perfectly prepared!“

“Hands down 5 stars. The food is very delicious, especially the pancakes which are all unique. I really like the berry pancakes. The mushroom omelette I had was phenomenal ( I added Swiss cheese and avocado to the original) and my mother had the gluten free s'mores version and loved it. The veggie skillet was decent but probably wouldn't order again. We also had crepes which were very sweet. The service was quick and efficient despite being totally packed. You didn't feel rushed or forgotten. We put ourselves on the virtual waiting list because there is always a wait, even on weekdays.“

When you see Eric, the first thing you'll think is: this guy should be modeling for Dolce and Gabbana! I mean, I'd venture to guess that his last name must be Dior. He's the real deal, balancing professional hospitality with positive vibes. PF Chang's got it right: Eric is the guy you want greeting your customers when they first walk in.The other hero during our visit was our wonderful server, Caitlan. This young lady has got all the basics down (i.e. friendly, efficient, frequent check-ins, etc). But what makes Caitlan so special is this: she has the gift of connecting with her customers. At some restaurants, you'll get a server that isn't very genuine, and customers can see thru that. Not Caitlan. My son, who is 3 years old, couldn't wait for Caitlan to come back so that he could chat with her about his green dump truck. Caitlan is enthusiastic, authentic, genuine...the list goes on and on. It was so refreshing to hear some of her background and ambitions outside of work. She is such a sweet young lady with a bright future ahead of her.Kudos to PF Chang's. One child's food came and the other came 8 minutes later.... doesn't seemlike a lot but it's a lot when you are with hungry kids. “My husband's birthday was great, thanks to La Pizza Via! With Ben's help, I surprised him on a Tuesday after work with an intimate dinner gathering with a few close friends in their dining area. It was the perfect setting for a quick surprise celebration. Ben took care of absolutely everything, from the ambiance to the food. All I had to do was send out invitations and get my husband there! The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. We can't recommend La Pizza Via enough – it's a wonderful spot for a special occasion.“

“My waiter was good and friendly. I sat in covered patio. I ordered a spring salad with shrimp. blackberries, grapefruit, candied pecans, arugula and berry vinaigrette and a side of Mac n cheese. The salad was missing the pecans but I forgot until I left, I thought something was missing. However, the shrimp was perfectly cooked. The ratio of shrimp to half portion was good. Mac N Cheese was ok. Noodles were undercooked and some still hard/crunchy edges and cheese sauce was just average and a bit gritty/thick. However, I was not expecting my meal to be served with plastic wrapped plastic utensils. a take home box for salad and a take home container for dining in. That was disappointing. the table of eight next to me was a bit shocked too to get their meals in to go cardboard containers.“

“I recently went here with my family after a colleague of mine, recommended it. The first course that we had was calamari, and they were much larger pieces than I'm accustomed to, and the breading was a little bit soggy however, the second appetizer we ordered was clams, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The rest of our meals were outstanding, and we will definitely be coming back on a sidenote from a service perspective I came with my wife and three children, one of which is eight months old. The hostess or manager offered for us to sit in a private room for the door that closes as there was some music in the background. Exceptional food, exceptional service, and exceptional people.!“

I don't hold back and as you can tell from my pic, I did NOT hold back. That salad tasted good and so did the sauce. Could have done without the dirty looks from the staff. Sorry not all of us are perfect clean eaters. I'm a MAN and I make messes when I eat, besides, next time don't honor my request of that much sauce. Clearly not my fault they allowed for that.“
