“I love this Family-owned business and especially that it is owned by a veteran. My family has been coming here for years, and my go to was always the Shrimp tacos! My last time in with a friend I tried a Burger. I highly recommend The Burgatory. Goat cheese on a burger- Who knew? It's drool-worthy. The other new addition I'm obsessed with is the Fried Pickles and Cheese curds appetizer. Why has no one else thought to combine these two before? And their homemade pie is unbeatable! “I had had a day and decided to stop into this bar to have a drink under some sun. Wasn’t sure what exactly I wanted and told the bartender Hannah to give me something fruity. She said I got you and made me an absolutely delicious vodka with other mixes drink. It was exactly what I needed. The drink was just as refreshing as being able to walk into a place distraught and be immediately met with comfort and a kind engaging personality. She definitely makes this bar what it is and I will be returning on her next shift.“

“Been coming in here for lunch for the past 3 weeks. The mix drinks they have are super refreshing, and the beer selection is plentiful. Jackie the bartender is very friendly, and welcoming. The lunch menu has something for everyone. Wings burgers ect ect. I don’t like to eat too heavy during lunch so I get salads. “Today is Feb. 19th. 2021. 4 of us went to Eddie's for the famous fish fry. It was truly excellent. And the tartar sauce is brilliantly different. What impressed me the most is the social distancing that's happening inside at the tables. I was concerned however they did a great job and kept well within the state's/towns guidelines. This was my first time eating in a restaurant since the pandemic started almost a year ago. “I didn't read the reviews beforehand, probably wouldn't have tried it. We walked in, the A/C was out so we decided to eat outside (also because the place had that carpet soaked whiskey aroma). There was only another couple in the place too. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and paired it with a Dos Equis. I started to read the reviews and then got nervous with all the 1 stars. The sandwich arrived and all the bad reviews went out the window. This was a really good Cuban! No deli sliced ham, it was a good chunk of ham in a delicious well pressed bread. The fries were cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and light and fluffy inside. 5 stars for the food, 3 stars for the atmosphere.“

“I've been here a couple times, the food is always good. But I think what makes this place stand out to me is the level of service. The wait staff is always attentive and constantly come back to check on you, not in an annoying way, but they have it down to a science it seems. They are never pushy and always friendly. It's a great place for you to be able to hang out with a few friends and grab a drink and a good meal.“

While the menu is not very large I asked if they had lengua, they did not. But the bartender offered a dish that was made for the staff, she called it Trumpbo? Translates to mouth of pig? Im sure im butchering this.. but my GOD.. it was some of the most delicious tender pork I have ever had. Not gamey/barnyard at all. Prepared just excellent.. can't describe it well enough do it justice. Their chef is a master.. if your lucky enough ask for it next time your in, they dont have it all the time but hopefully you can get lucky and enjoy what the cook/staff enjoy.. i felt very fortunate to be able to enjoy this treat from the kitchen. “Service was incredibly accommodating from Management to waitresses. We had an impromptu party of over 20 for a Union meeting in the middle of the day. We reserved the largest table available but our party became too large, Management moved us to a private area of the restaurant which allowed us plenty of space to conduct business.The food was wonderful! “I was so pleased with the Local Bar and Grill. To see it when you first come in, it looks like a big bar. And it is with so much more. Their dining area became filled with people also enjoying the evening. I was with a party of six and we each ordered different entrees and appetizers. I had a piece of a margarita pizza and cauliflower in a lovely breading with a delicious sauce for appetizer and a prime rib sandwich with superb au jus for dipping. Others had the Greek chicken, also scrumptious, the salads were crispy and plentiful. All and all our dinner and evening at the Local Bar and Grill was delightful. This was on a Saturday night so we also enjoyed live music, Sam Savage and Michelle. I look forward to going back and trying some others of their menu. The wait staff was knowledgeable and very friendly, giving us suggestions from the menu. Their mixologists, bar tenders are very professional as well. Then just when I thought it couldn't get any better. A band started jamming and they sounded incredible! The glass wall in between us created the perfect amount of sound.
