“The Best Bakery in the North West suburbs of Chicago. I lived in the area for over 31years before moving to AZ. We have been in Arizona for almost six years and I have been searching for a bakery that comes close to Peterson's. I have not found one yet. The bakeries that I have found in Arizona don't have danish sweet rolls. They don't have the same fillings. The Swedish flops are a special treat. Peterson's was a regular stop on my way home from church. If you enjoy fresh bakery goods and are in the Hoffman Estates area you should try them. They are on W Algonquin Road in Hoffman Estates. I hope they will ship to AZ.“
“I saw the bakery sign and quickly parked the car. Upon entering, I saw that the bakery cases mainly held cookies, bars, and cupcakes. Not a huge variety, and more specialized with huge sandwiched cookies, macarons, large bar cookies. I opted for a Raspberry crumb bar and a chocolate cherry macaron decorated to look like Santa's belly. The bar cookie was huge; about 4" x 5". It had a deliciously crisp base, and you could taste the butter. It was filled with a thin layer of jam and a lovely crumb topping.The macaron was another story. The cookie itself was great. Light, airy, and crisp. The filling, however, tasted like white wedding cake frosting. It totally overpowered the macaron base. Made my teeth hurt. Total regret.I'd be interested in trying the cupcakes.“
“I've heard this store from my friends and decided to check it out. I ordered strawberry cream cake flavor for my son birthday. The store about 12 miles from my home and it's in the heart of the Danada square in Wheaton. I was surprised how friendly staff were and they are just focusing on cake only. The cake was very moist and a bit too sweet. In my opinion, if they can reduce the amount of sugar in a half, that would make the cake better. I will definitely come back to try other flavors.“

“Courageous Bakery and Cafe has some solid breakfast and pastry choices. My husband is a huge sucker for breakfast burritos and I am a huge fan of buttery, flakey biscuits. Courageous has both so it's a win-win for us! Besides breakfast, we would typically order croissants, cupcakes, and/or 4 inch birthday cake to go. None of those have disappointed us. The only downside is the horchata loca latte was somewhat mediocre in which both horchata and coffee flavors were underwhelming.“
“Good golly, Miss Molly, what a fine cupcake.My husband and I were in Woodfield Mall with no intention of stopping and getting a sweet treat. As we were walking down the hall, we stumbled upon Molly's Cupcakes and decided to give it a look. All it took to convince us to try one was seeing a chocolate filled, chocolate cupcake. We tried the Chocolate Decadence aka Chocolate Mousse (Chocolate cake filled with chocolate mousse topped with chocolate ganache and chocolate curls) and the Ron Bennington aka Chocolate Peanutbutter (Chocolate cake filled with peanut butter, topped with chocolate ganache and Butterfinger pieces). We took them home to try instead of sitting in the reserved seating area next to the serving area. The cupcakes were moist, and the frosting and filling were rich. I recommend Molly's Cupcakes for an exceptional cupcake experience.“

I had three cakes and two dozen cookies to pick up for this holiday weekend and my friends and family members raved about how delicious and beautiful everything was. “Wow. We were driving from Chicago to Lake Geneva and stopped for gas at a rest stop. Smallcakes had a table set up there amongst the fast food restaurants and boy am I glad lol. We bought 3 - red velvet, chocolate and banana cream. They are the best cupcakes we've ever had (and we eat a lot of cupcakes)! They are sooooo moist and not too sweet. The flavors are big. I was nervous ordering a large cake for my mom's 90th birthday party because I just showed them a pic of the party invitation and had to trust that they would make a cake that fit in with the floral theme. This was my first time here, so I had never seen or tasted a cake from this bakery. They did not disappoint! The cake was gorgeous AND delicious. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because calling the bakery to speak with someone was hit or miss. Oftentimes you get a voice message telling you to send an email communication. They may be a little short-staffed and the cakes are not cheap, but for me, it was worth the price. They did a fantastic job and I would definitely recommend this bakery for specialty cakes.“
