“I tried this place recently, and nobody in southern Illinois has burgers that taste as good as Smitty's. If me or anyone in my family is craving a burger from somewhere other than home. I know exactly where I'm going!The worker at the window was very kind too. I'll definitely be coming back!“

“Love this place. Love the bartenders. Love the food. Everytime I come into town I make sure to go back to The Poplar Place. Every night there's is a new food/drink special and good company. Tonight was $0.55 wings and $3 burgers with Amy behind the bar. I love seeing old friends and putting a few dollars into the poker machines while I wait on my food. We're coming back one more time for Halloween before I roll back out of town.“

“Found this place when we stopped for the night on the way back to Ohio. Outside was kind of sketchy and we almost turned around. Glad we didn't. Inside is like a step back to the 1800s. Food was excellent and the wait staff was outstanding. I highly recommend.“

“Of course I recommend this McDonald's. It's better than the Eastside one, and I use to work at this one. I'm only coming here, because I'm at work, and just took a big ol swig of my coffee I bought today on lunch hour, but man I got a mouth full of coffee grounds lol! Went to throw it out, a bunch of grounds came out into the tub, but still a ton in my cup left. Approximately 2 inches of grounds! Never had it that bad before.“

“The waitress came out to curbside to take our order and was very pleasant and helpful with our order the shake was delicious that my mom had and the thick(like a concrete from DQ) was delicious I was in heavenKid-friendliness: Great food for kids“

“Kudos to the hard working staff on eclipse day. We arrived at the city park next door about 10am and I don’t think we ever saw less than 5 cars in the drive through. When lunch rolled around at noon we ordered on the app, walked over 5 minutes later and our food was just bagged and handed to us as we got to the counter. The employees were hustling, and the line was out the door. Got back to our picnic table and discovered one medium fry was missing so I ran back in and the gentleman at the counter apologized and scooped up a fresh order. Great service and excellent tasting food. Well done!“

“Expensive...but Democrats are in power so that's to be expected. THEY ACTUALLY GOT MY WIFE'S WHOPPER RIGHT WHEN I SAID EASY ON THE MAYO! Also, I asked for no Mayo on my chicken sandwich and for the first time in a long time...a Burger King got it right!“

“My orders are always prepared exactly as I ordered and the quality of the food is consistently very good. I usually order online and it is ready for me when I arrive.I have been critical of this restaurant's service in the past, but they have made improvements that keep me returning at least once a week.“

“I have always had good,(if not exceptional) service when I visited this particular McDonald’s. However my experience this afternoon is too hard to explain. I was asked to repeat my order at the drive through. Even whe I said it wasn’t correct, I was asked again if there was anything more I needed. I said I would suggest that they not put someone that brand new on a Friday night. It was obvious that the 2 or 3 people trying to take my order at the speaker, were really too new to be there. Finally I’m at the window to pick up food and unfortunately no one could get the order right for me. I gave back the extra food they had put in my bag and requested the food I had ordered. I was handed so many wrong parts of the order I was in shock. They handed me 2 large regular cokes , my receipt and I not said frozen. I tried to be polite but this visit was very difficult for me. The worst part was that it was happening in front of my 3 granddaughters who were waiting for their food. I told them you had someone new but I do think this whole situation could have been handled much differently.“
