Fiesta Cafe Reviews
I love this place! I’ve been out of Champaign for 5 years now, and still think about margarita night here and their amazing Alex Tacos and Fajitas!!!
OMG. I've lived in Champaign since '91 and had never tried Fiesta Cafe. My bad. The food is amazing. I tried the Tamales and they were the best I've ever eaten! The list of Tequila's available is amazing. Add fast friendly service and reasonable prices and Fiesta Cafe is a C-U gem. This will be my go to Mexican spot from now on..

Fiesta Cafe is a quaint and authentic Mexican Cafe known for its excellent food, fast service, and cheerful atmosphere. The restaurant has expanded to include a bar and outdoor patio, all while maintaining its high-quality Mexican cuisine and friendly service. Guests can enjoy a variety of delicious dishes, including Alex's tacos and steak fajitas, which are popular choices. The margaritas, especially the Blood orange, are highly praised. The chips and salsa are considered top tier, with a wide selection of taco sauce and hot sauce. Many customers highlight the freshness of the food, such as steak and chicken tacos, and the complimentary chips that are quickly devoured. Although some find the food average, the mole sauce on the chicken tamale is often praised for its flavor. The restaurant offers free parking lot and wheelchair accessibility, making it a great choice for a meal out. It is especially appreciated by those around campus, despite occasional noise when students are back in town and some broken pavement in the parking lot. Overall, Fiesta Cafe is viewed as a hidden gem and a favorite spot for many.
