“Stopped in for a late lunch. We both started with stuffed cabbage soup, something we'd never heard of no less had. Ir was unique and delicious. My wife had the fried green tomatoes, and I had corned beef and cabbage with a side salad. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. The soup was especially good on a cold and wet afternoon. “My wife and I have been to Cook's Spice Rack before a few times and have always been pleased. The food was great and the seating area was clean and bright. I had the sausage omelet with home fries and the jalapeno toast, while the jalapeno toast was good it wasn't worth the extra dollar as I didn't taste any spiciness from the jalapeno.My wife had the pulled pork sandwich, french fries with coleslaw, she said the pork was just a bit dry but still good.We certainly will be going back as you know you will get a great meal for a good price.“

“This was my first time going to Loukinens' and everything we tried on their menu was amazing. We started with the blackened steak lollipops and the steak was a perfect medium rare and well seasoned. I had the beer cheese soup and it was creamy, rich, and had a lovely flavor. The meatloaf cupcake trio was very cute. The meatloaf had whipped mashed potatoes on top to make it look like cupcakes. Our server was on point. He was friendly, quick, and made our meal a great experience. It is on the pricier side, especially for Springfield, but it's well worth it.“
“I love going here, very personable, poliet, food and service is excellent. This is my highlight for travelling to Springfield. It is a soulfood place and the walley fish, sweet potatoes, mac n cheese and greens and sweet tea my favorite. All of their food is excellent and and their sweet potatoe pie that the Mom make, i ate my piece and hers. I tried not to do it. Try them when in springfield, they close at 3pm and uaually not open on the weekends but if you get a group they will open for you. Give them a try.“

“The pizza was great & 3 over people I was with were happy with the food. I complained about the awful Iced Tea that tasted like water. Was told that Everyone says that it has no flavor. That should clue the owners they need to do something about it. Was a big inconvenience to me because I only drink water & Iced tea. They shouldn't serve it or charge nearly $4 for something that has no taste. If I can't enjoy flavorful tea with my food, sorry not coming back.“

“This is a really neat place to visit. The food is great. I loved the Horseshoe. The cheese on it was amazing!!The service was not great. The waitress was slow and messed up our order in a few ways.. We were nice about it, but the cook came out to argue that the order was correct. (Which I thought was weird since we didn't even ask for a replacement and the waitress admitted to writing it down wrong.)We would definitely come back. There is just so much to take in there. They have special events with live music, movies on a big screen, car events.There is a museum on the side of the restaurant and a giant building in the back with a courtyard for games like bags and large jenga.The parking lot is huge. So truckers and RVers have plenty of room to park there.“

“This was our first time visiting home plate today. We were a party of two adults and 2 toddlers. The food was very good. The service was outstanding from our server, Jaylen, who was very busy but still made time to chat with us and give recommendations to the manager Daniella, who gave us great beer recommendations and even gave us a free beer when we mentioned we had wanted to sample something but it was in a can.
