This place would get top marks from me even if their coffee and pastries werent awesome just for the simple fact that they dont really have a to-go cup option. We love beans & bagels - the best bagel in Chicago. we love the sustainability commitment they uphold. We haven’t gone so much over the past months since they STILL haven’t opened their cafe back up since COVID - we would really appreciate a place to eat our food and enjoy our drinks in the winter/bad weather and would think that eating in and putting bagels on plates again and coffee in mugs would help further reduce waste. The food and the service here is really outstanding. I really love the breakfast bagels, the mother jones, hamlet, treehugger, and yosh kawano sandwiches, the do-rite doughnuts, and the chocolate chip cookies and the service is very warm, friendly, helpful, and accomodating. Keep up the great work!
