This was the first time I have been there. My brother lived near there several years ago and raved about their Chila Quilles dish, so I had it. It WAS delicious! He said it's the best one he's ever had. The outdoor patio was very nice and pretty. The inside of the restaurant needs work, but I think the owners may be retiring soon, so go when you can!
I have been coming here for years. The chips and Pico de Gallo are fantastic. We always start with the nachos. The food is fresh and made with love. The outdoor patio is beautiful. We also recommend the carnitas and pozole.

Ambiance is very low key and neighborhood type of Mexican restaurant. The place hasn't changed since I recall coming here, outdated, specially the bathrooms... Nonetheless, food is as good as I recall. Beans are on point. Meats are good quality, service is good - beware of the menu items that don't explain exactly how the food is served.
