“My wife and I loved the steamed dumplings with mild sauce. The dumplings were very good with or without sauce, but the sauce was delicious too. Chicken tikka masala was one of the best tasting we’ve ever had. Samosa chaat was very good too, one of the better ones. The garlic naan was a bit more plain tasting than we’d live. We highly recommend this place overall and will definitely eat here again and try other stuff!“
“Wow, what a culinary journey at Chicago Indian Curry Restaurant! The moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere. The food, oh the food! It was a symphony of flavors, with each dish more delightful than the last. The appetizers were a great start, with the Masala Papad being a standout. Crisp, flavorful, and perfectly spiced, it set the tone for the rest of the meal. The Veg Samosa was decent, but didn't quite live up to the papad's standard. But then, the entrees arrived, and it was a whole new level of deliciousness. The Navratna Korma was a masterpiece - rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. The Daal Fry was equally impressive, with perfectly cooked lentils and a depth of flavor that left me wanting more.Unfortunately, the Butter Chicken didn't quite hit the mark. It was a bit too sweet and lacking in the rich, buttery flavor I've come to expect from this dish. But the breads, oh the breads! The Butter Naan was fluffy, lightly buttered, and perfect for sopping up all the sauces. The Laccha Paratha was crispy, flaky, and utterly addictive. And then, the piece de resistance - a complimentary Mango Dessert that was the perfect sweet treat to end“
“I love the food from momo factory. The place is small but they have enough seating. The service can get a bit slow during peak hours. I am a big fan of their tandoori momo and their dal makhani. Their jhol momo is great too. The best dish is their veg chili garlic noodles, so yum!!!!! Their fried dishes are too oily in my opinion. Their fried momo and samosas are the fried dishes that I have tried and found them too oily for my liking. Please steer away from their potato chilli if you have a low spice tolerance. My mouth was on fire after eating that. Overall, a great inexpensive place to get delicious food from.“
“Hands down the best Indian I’ve had so far since moving to Chicago. The naan is so fresh. The tiki masala was seasoned well and had just the right amount of spice. Chicken is tender. The samosas are also flavorful! Would definitely recommend!!“
“"I've dined at this restaurant twice now, and both times the food was nothing short of spectacular. From the appetizers to the desserts, each dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The chefs clearly use high-quality ingredients and possess a real knack for combining flavors in a way that delights the palate. The atmosphere of the restaurant is just as impressive as the food, offering a comfortable and inviting setting for a memorable dining experience. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant visit each time. This place is a true gem, and I can't wait to return for a third visit!"“
“I can’t say enough positive things about this restaurant. I had it delivered, so I can’t speak about dining in, but even with delivery, the food arrived hot and fresh. Honestly, this is the best Nepalese/Indian food I’ve ever had. Everything was delicious, fresh, well seasoned, and made with care. Highly recommend! Amazing!“
“Small, quiet place with excellent food. I had a chicken chilli Marsala, tandoori naan, and Indian tea. It came out piping hot with enough food for leftovers (guess what I'm having for dinner?!). Clean place, good service. The only challenge is parking. In the heart of Little India, so lots of shopping nearby.“
“We have been getting carry out for 10 years from this place. It is by far our favorite over the other Chicago staples. We even feel like they’ve upped the taste and quality in the past 6 months. Can personally vouch for veggie samosa, chicken tikka, lamb saag, palek paneer and onion things.Seriously no need to go anywhere else“
“The food was really good. We got the Paneer tiki masala which was amazing and the butter chicken. The chicken was really good and not tough. The atmosphere was nice. The menu was not very clean and our table was also not the cleanest, the cloth had a food stain on it when we sat down. Everything else though was clean as well as the bathrooms. I would definitely eat here again.“
“In the heart of a city that pulsates with an eclectic mix of culinary traditions, there lies a gem that has quietly woven itself into the fabric of our lives. This isn't just any restaurant; it's our culinary sanctuary, a place we find ourselves drawn to almost bi-weekly, not just for the food, which in itself is a celebration of flavors, but for the warmth and generosity that greet us each time we step through its doors. The Paneer Bhurjee here is nothing short of a masterpiece. Each bite is a symphony of perfectly balanced spices and freshly crumbled paneer, a testament to the skill and passion that goes into its creation. The Naan, soft, fluffy, and always served piping hot, is the perfect companion to this dance of flavors. However, it is the Dal Makhani that truly embodies the soul of this place – rich, comforting, and simmered to perfection, it speaks of home, of tradition, and of an unwavering commitment to excellence. But what sets this establishment apart isn't just its exceptional culinary offerings. It's the owners – their unparalleled generosity and genuine warmth transform dining into an experience that transcends the ordinary. On occasions, they've even graciously covered our meal, a gesture of hospitality that is as rare as it is heartwarming. It's this blend of delightful cuisine and genuine human connection that anchors us to this place, compelling us to return time and again.Writing this review, I'm reminded of why we cherish this restaurant so deeply. It's a place that not only satiates our hunger but also nourishes our souls. For anyone seeking not just a meal but an experience woven with the threads of generosity, warmth, and exceptional culinary skill, look no further. This isn't just a restaurant; it's a haven, a place where every meal is a celebration of life's simple pleasures.“
“They have the most amazing staff. I am completely addicted to their delicious food!! I am already craving my next order! You just can’t go wrong with anything on their menu, but my favorite is the Tiki marsala and garlic nan-bread. GLORIOUS’ !!! We got carry out!!!“
“Everything was delicious. I ordered the paneer makhani, naan and a mango lassi. The food came out quicker than the estimated time. The server was very nice/polite and made sure I was well taken care of. I will definitely come back to order again.“
