5 stars all around for this beautiful spot in the lobby of the Blackstone Hotel in downtown Chicago. The atmosphere is old-world elegant, the service impecible, and the menu, while not terribly expansive, offers such variety. Nice cocktail and wine list as well. My wife and I were not impressed with the menu selection. I don't think that we are picky but we struggled to find anything that would suit our taste at all. What we did have was okay but a fine dining experience should be great. We came away thinking it wasn't terrible.

Food was great. Almost everything is stellar. The things that weren't stellar were just because they weren't my thing, not a failing of the kitchen. My only quibble with the food was that on the menu, it says that paella takes "30 min or more" but the waiter told us it takes over 45 min, so I think that some wording should change on the menu.
