Vegan and non-vegan options. The place isn’t big, but it’s cozy. It feels like your at your close friends home and they treat you like family. Went with my vegan wife and my two sons. We all loved it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s a hidden gem.
The food was insane. First time trying African cuisine but won’t be our last.
We stumbled on this restaurant and it was excellent food and service! Just as described like entering a welcoming home! Great to enjoy the delicious seasoning and dishes❤️

Mogadishu Restaurant is a hidden gem serving excellent and authentic food. This eatery offers a variety platter for diners who are unsure, featuring a range of dishes. The crepe/bread with honey remains a highlight. Known for its sumptuous food that tastes like home, the restaurant provides a lively and welcoming atmosphere, making visitors feel at home amidst the Somali chatter. The service is wonderful, with patient and friendly staff, and food is ready in minutes. Diners can enjoy affordable pricing and free parking located right behind the restaurant.
For those looking for vegetarian options, there is a choice of rice or chapati to accompany deliciously prepared vegetables and beans. Mogadishu Restaurant is a small place with just five tables, creating a cozy and sometimes crowded environment, especially at the counter. The restaurant attracts a friendly customer base, including Somali cab drivers. Guests have the opportunity to enjoy various flavor combinations by incorporating banana and using condiments like honey, olive oil, and chili sauces. The chai tea is a must-try, available in both sweet and unsweetened versions. Overall, it is a super recommended eatery for anyone who enjoys home-cooked food and a great culinary experience.
The food was great and guests will definitely come back again. The restaurant is a small place that is serving delicious and plentiful platters. The beef steak with rice and lentils was incredible. Diners can enjoy a Somali mixed plate with tender goat, spicy beef, fluffy rice, and stewy veggies. Portions were huge, leaving diners full. The staff was warm and chill, and the place is laid-back, though it can get a bit noisy. It is a solid spot for comfort food, and many plan to return to try the camel.
