So glad we happened upon this restaurant while doing a college visit. The deep dish pizza was amazing (the mozzarella ?) and the atmosphere was so great. But the real star here is The Chach (now uncle chach)! He entertained us all evening and our cheeks were cramping with all the smiling and laughing during the evening. This place feels like family and we will be back absolutely!!!! Thank you for the great food and great personality.
Love this place! Best deep dish in Chicago! The thin is also very good. Pasta is great too. We visited this place again after 10+ years (since our child was in college in Chicago) and The Chach remembered them by name. He is an absolute icon and it was so good to see him again! He makes this place even more special!!Vegetarian options: Easy to get pasta dishes as vegetarian.
