Loved it! I walked quite a ways to find this little taco place upon recommendation from some of my friends. I got the vegetarian torta and it was delicious! The servers were friendly and nice, and the restaurant building and atmosphere are so cute! The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that there was a lot of disposable plastic involved in the meal, even though I ordered my food to be eaten there. But overall, great! :)
The food from here tastes like you are in a real Mexican family and you guys are having a gathering at a forest preserve and your favorite uncle is cooking carne asada on the grill. I've tried multiple places in pilsen and I think this one becoming my favorite. The staff is really nice on top of it! The restaurant is very clean and I love how the kitchen is out in front so that you can see exactly how they are preparing your food. 100% recommend.

This place has been around for a long time. They are the company that sells the tortillas at most grocery stores. The restaurant is small and there are tables but not for large groups. I had come on a weekend and ordered the Mexican stew taco. It was so good so I came again last night and had a taste for it. It was so tender and tasty. But they only make the stew on Saturdays.
