“We stopped in for a special treat. They had a good selection of donuts. The shop was decorated nicely and the man who was working there was inviting, helpful and nice. We decided on 6 donuts, Boston creams, pistachio, blueberry cheesecake, apple cider and bacon maple. We enjoyed them all! The prices are average for this type of shop and it does have a nice area to sit and eat if you want to do that. Overall, I recommend stopping in for a delicious donut. We will be going back whenever we are in Elmhurst again.“

“Purchased 4 dozen mini donuts for my son’s 40th Birthday party yesterday. My absolute favorites were the Banana Nutella, Glazed, Powered Sugar and Turtle mini donuts. “Simple but great donut shop. Fresh donuts daily. The donuts are very good. I bought donuts at 5am. And was eating some of them at 5pm. And they were still very fresh. A couple were ate the next day. “I wanted to send a HUGE shout out to Dion, general manager of the Oakbrook Terrace location. A few weeks ago I put in a large order for my daughter's birthday party. I was expecting to have around 72 donuts and two boxes of coffee delivered at 9am on a Saturday. Apparently there was an issue or glitch of some kind with the third party who manages online ordering/delivery. I received an email at 4am the morning of my daughter's party that my order was cancelled as a result. I called the Oakbrook Terrace location at 6am in a panic and Dion saved the day! He put in my order manually, ran the payment without issue, and got the order out for a 9:00am delivery. Not only that but he was kind, understanding, and very tolerant of a woman panicking about donuts at 6am. Thank you, thank you Dion!Kid-friendliness: The mini-donuts are perfect for little hands. Plus, they are cute!“

“Beware this place may become addictive for donut lovers. I think once you visit you will be visiting again for sure! I stopped by to grab just a couple donuts but ended up buying a dozen and a half. I couldn't decide what flavor donuts to buy so I bought three flavored donut including maple/bacon, snickers, blueberry dream and plain. They are mini sized donuts that are made fresh in shop. I also bought a large cold brew with milk which had a good flavor. The lady that helped me was very patient while waiting for me to decide on which donuts to buy. The atmosphere is friendly and seems to be popular with a lot of local people. I will be back for sure! I want to try a few more of the flavored donuts. There is a place to sit outside and a walk up window for a quick stop and shop. They apparently have a lunch as well which includes a hot dog, chips drink and donuts (see menu board photo). Overall, this little donut shop is a great addition to the shopping area near the train stop and for locals.“

“Every time I visit Firecakes in Oak Park, they always have a great display of donuts, a clean shop and the service is always great. I love their seasonal donuts and I have never been disappointed with my choices. I am not a coffee person so I have not tried their coffee, but the donuts are definitely worth the visit!“

“We are Latinos that recently moved to Burbank and we were a bit hesitant in trying this place because the recent reviews were negative. But after going there on 3 different occasions I feel comfortable leaving this review. I don’t normally like Mexican style bread because the ones I’ve tried all seem to be stale or hard, but the bread is soft and tasty here! On all three different occasions it was the same.“

“My mom had a flat tire and we were in our way to fix it but we had to stop in the parking lot in dunkin we tried calling a tow truck nobody picking up so we went inside the dunkin’ and really nice and amazing person asked if our tire is flat and she offered to ask dominos to get the jack but we didn’t no how to so these to amazing pepole helped change the tire“
