The prices were reasonable and they had many options and ideas. They also were willing to customize drinks for you to your taste. I found the prices reasonable and the staff was very good. I filled out the online form at Windy City Ice Cream, requesting a quote. Elena got back to me almost immediately and together we set up a time the next day to come out and surprise our employees. Communication was great the whole day and Aaron showed up with his truck on time. He was both courteous and professional. I have never seen an ice cream place offer so many different topings! On my ice cream I dared to try popping rocks, gummy bears, and sprinkles. It was a revolutionary combination! The employees were so nice, and one of them even helped me test out different ice cream flavors. Not only is the food good, but also the atmosphere. When I walked in, I was greeted by an enthusiastic sound of a bell. Then as I walked through the most beautiful light pink hallway, I saw hundreds of little signs and pictures. My personal favorite is the "Dog People Rule" sign! Inside the store there is comfortable, clean environment. You can bring your whole family if you want to. “My friend and I went here after the movies and decided to try their ice cream. The store itself is small but they have so much to offer from ice cream, candies, fudge, caramel apples, etc. It's location is perfectly located in downtown Elmhurst right next to the movie theatre. It was so hard to choose a flavor but I went with the All-American Two Berry Pie. Talk about YUM! The ice cream itself was so creamy and smooth. The texture was absolutely perfect. In the vanilla ice cream, there was a nice blend of strawberry, Blueberry, and sugared pie crust pieces. It was by far one of the best ice cream flavors I have ever had. The only downside is that they are quite pricy. It was $13 and some odd change for 2 single scoops in cake cones. I personally think that is pretty steep and the portion is just average. I cannot wait to come back to try more flavors as I am a ice cream lover!“

So far since then I haven't seen much hostility toward the employees unless it's from impatient customers who struggle to comprehend that they're not the only people waiting.Anyways, I've received exceptional service lately. Mainly from a very kind tall man with a beard and slightly longer hair. I wish I would've asked for his name.There's also another taller man who has a little stubble and glasses, he always greets me and calls me sir, which is cool because I'm actually transgender and I get a confidence boost each time I see him. Thank you. :)The food has improved as well, and their speed is top notch. I will admit Friday night was very busy BUT the employees handled it very well and professionally.Thank you for your hard work, guys. Anyone who says "fast food isn't hard work" is SO wrong.
