“Came here everyday for my daily fix while in the area for work. I got to spend some time the first two days talking with the owner and one of her daughters. I immediately was made to feel welcome and a part of the family. They roast onsite, the coffee is amazing and the pastries are fantastic. I brought two bags of their coffee home with me. Anytime I am back in this area, I will be going back. Go support a local small business by having a great cup of coffee.“
“After mobile ordering a rare cup of coffee from Starbucks, I went inside to get it. While I was waiting for it to get made, I witnessed some great customer service given to what I can only describe as your typical “Karen”. The woman in front of me received her drink and when she picked it up, she said, rudely, “I ordered this drink to be extra hot.” The nice woman who made her coffee, who I found out after her name was Alicia(Probably butchered that spelling), responded with “absolutely we made that extra hot for you.” The woman responded with “Well it doesn’t feel hot on my hands.” Which is just an absurd thing to say considering she picked up a cup with a heat protector on it. Alicia responded immediately with an apology(even though clearly she did nothing wrong) and offered to remake her drink, another coworker also stepped in, who I found out his name was Sergio, and stated again they were sorry and they made the drink again, the exact same way they made the previous one and then the woman received her coffee. And sarcastically said, “that actually feels hot this time.” And she walked away. It’s just not often that you see good customer service in general today but to see it in the face of an extremely rude person. . . Super cool. Great work Sergio and Alicia. 10/10 Stars“
“I have always loved liquid fusion and normally go to the northbrook location but stopped by here while at the dmv. The staff was nice and fast. The boba smoothies were good as always. I got the strawberry honeydew with tapioca and strawberry dream with tapioca per usual and they were both good. Haven't been to a liquid fusion in a while but prices have gone up a ton. A regular was like $6 with tax. This is a bit pricier than other places but worth it for the specialty flavors like the strawberry dream and melonah. Liquid fusion will always have a special place in my heart and worth a visit if you haven't tried it but def not a cheap spot anymore :''((“
“The food is always the same. Sometimes the fries are not salted enough and occasionally, out of the 20 times I've been here, the fries aren't fresh, which, at today's prices of almost $3 for a large fry, I might ask them to remake it if it came less than fresh.They are always very nice at the window, and one woman always has the warmest nicest smile. She makes my day.Vegetarian options: Not much for vegetarians at McDonald's. Fries?“
“Went in a few days ago and was greeted by the owner who totally over-served my 2 kids in the best way possible. We ordered minis and he gave huge portions with lots of the toppings we ordered. You could see he did it because he thought it was fun and wanted to see my girls happy. That's a perfect local business, and one that serves up delicious treats alongside the excellent and warm service.“
