“The food is always the same. Sometimes the fries are not salted enough and occasionally, out of the 20 times I've been here, the fries aren't fresh, which, at today's prices of almost $3 for a large fry, I might ask them to remake it if it came less than fresh. They are always very nice at the window, and one woman always has the warmest nicest smile. She makes my day.Vegetarian options: Not much for vegetarians at McDonald's. Fries?“
“I cautiously entered the aging bowling alley to decide for myself if Boba Burger is as good as I've heard. After circling the parking lot to find a space during league play it better be.The menu is a big sign on the wall and there are a lot of interesting choices. The prices are good, too. The guy at the counter was friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering the Seoul Burger. It was simply incredible. Kimchi, kalbi glazed bacon, fried egg. A perfect blend of flavors and textures, and no cutting corners on quality. So freaking good! The Thai iced tea is delicious, too.SECOND VISIT: It was so good I had to bring my fiance back with me. I guess that friendly guy at the counter owns the place with his brother. Good folks, I enjoy talking to them. She isn't as adventurous as me and ordered the more basic Boba Burger. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly seasoned, perfect sear. She was happy. This time I tried the BBQ Lechon Burger. It isn't as over-the-top as the Seoul Burger but it was still delicious. Lechon is roasted pork belly. Paired with the ground beef, barbecue sauce, and topped with an onion ring, this is another winner.Their Vietnamese iced coffee is really good. The egg rolls are above average, I had to fight her for that last one. Their fries are nicely crisped and well seasoned.Bottom line: Yes, they have earned their reputation and I plan on working my way through the whole menu.Parking: It's inside a bowling alley. If there's league play going on it could be difficult finding a spot close to the door. Otherwise there's plenty of spaces.“
“I was greeted at the door, then i was taken to my seat the waiter was super sweet and polite. They are quick in getting you seated, getting you something to drink and taking your order ! Didn’t wait long at all to get my food and it was fresh and hot ! Best “
“Been there twice. if my first waiter was as bad as the second one, I would never go a second time. The first time was amazing, Great waiter was amazing service great tasting food. Second time the waiter acted didn't even care about providing decent service. But all that being said the food is great“
“Delicious, simply love it! ❤️I have tried both hot chick sandwich and smashville double cheese burger, both were perfectly cooked and seasoned.Glad to have this gem in near skokie area, plus it’s zabiha halal as well which makes it 10/10Fully satisfied customerKeep up the good work NashBros. ??“
“I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala pizza, and oh. my. goodness. It was love at first bite! The crust was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The sauce was rich and flavorful, and the chicken was tender and juicy. And the cheese? Melted to perfection! ?And let's not forget the prices! So affordable and worth every penny. I'll definitely be back for more. ?In short, Halal Pizza Point is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious, authentic halal pizza. Don't miss out! ? 5/5 stars ?"“

“My daughter wanted an ice cream so we ran in, she played the clawGame and didn’t win, no worries, better luck next time- as we turned around the gentleman had a prize waiting for her anyways. A small act that made our day. Thank you for the hospitality! Looking forward to ordering next week as well! :)“
“I had the beef bulgogi and it was great. The meat itself was tasty and it was a good combination of fresh ingredients like salad, soy beans and things. Felt healthy and very satisfying at the same time. The curly fries were great, too, but I’m sure they were not healthy! Prices seem very fair for the quality of the food and preparation.“
“The food was outstanding!!!! The service was great!!! The atmosphere is pleasant and clean. Wish it was bigger so more people could experience how fantastic of a place it is.Parking: Free parking in strip mall.Kid-friendliness: All are welcomed and the menu is suitable for kids as well.“
“Today was my first time trying this place, and after seeing the reviews, i was just expecting a generally good burger. I was genuinely surprised by the PHENOMENAL burger and fries! The shake was good as well. This was honestly the best burger i've had in a really long time. I will definitely be eating here again. I hate doing reviews, but they deserve the praise.“
“Excellent cheeseburger, but it didn't live up to the hype. I am not saying it's bad, but don't expect to eat the best burger of your life here. This place is definitely worth a try, but it isn't worth the price. Their fries are pretty great, though.“
“This place seemed as if it was an upscale sports bar. Plenty on tvs to view games, but above that was the food! I was very surprised at how everything tasted, making me savor that last bite. Cocktails ? were pleasant and just the overall presentation. If you are in the area, definitely make a stop and try this place. The fried alligator was a hit!!“
“Food was delish, felt super rushed by our waitress who kept constantly appearing to take our order while the ladies hadn’t reviewed menu or were trying to catch up. I did enjoy a cocktail at the bar solo and had a nice chat with the young bartender. Overall a little noisy. But good experience overall.“
“I've worked in Morton Grove for 26 years and we have patronized this location often and have always found the food to be consistently great and the service to be Timely and I'm actually on my way there this now! Highly recommend. The Greek gyros are phenomenal and I also love the American Style. Stop by if you're in the area you'll be glad you did“
“Try either of the hot dogs. My favorite was the Whoopskidawg. My husband liked the Superdawg better. Great place for trying authentic Chicago food and the history is great and atmosphere was so fun! We tried 2 types of beer also and they were very good with the dogs. Oh and a chocolate malt for dessert was nice to take on a walk by the river behind the restaurant.“
“Allergy and celiac friendly. Some vegan options. Great old school high quality hot dogs. Unique retro home town and family shop vibes. They know their customers and take care of them personally if needed. My out of town family AND friends always schedule it into their chicago trips. Ken and Danny are caring heroes, too. Oh their stories of pulling women from burning cars, how they took care of their employees during lockdown, and more. Tell them I sent you.“
“We order from here alot for our office. Today I called at 10:45am and placed a big order with alot of I don't want this, want extra that. Mario was awesome and read it back perfectly. We picked it up, and the bags had exactly what was in them per order. They have never done this before but it sure helps to not take someone else's sandwich or have to open the foil and dig through someone else's order. Mario went above and beyond.. our food was right and everything was perfect down to the extra pickles. I called to let them know and Mario remembered me and was happy to hear the praise and thanks but I also wanted to post this publicly. You won't be sorry ordering from here!!! Oh and one person in the office raves about the ranch and would drink it if she could.. it's very good!!!“
“Yummy! I was on a quest to find a true chicago style hotdog i and this place delivered! I always forget to take a picture before digging in! The hotdog was spot on! It was my first time there, so I ordered a cheeseburger and cheese fries to test out too! Everything was absolutely delicious! The owner was super nice and cool! Definitely be back for more!“
“I moved from Niles to the south side of Chicago about 8 years ago and it's comforting knowing the food here has not changed! Still as delicious as I remember and owner has kept the prices fair where other restaurants are price gouging. Love this gem of a place. It's hard to find good food with quality ❤️?“
“My husband and I have been coming here for years. The owners, Chris and Nikki and the bartender, Monica are always welcoming and take good care of us. Nice atmosphere, good company, lots of tvs if you want to watch the game, great music playing in the background. The food is always very good and freshly made. Some of our favorites are the chicken kabobs, the Jerry's Special, and the burgers, which are excellent! Half price martinis on Wednesdays with a long list of options to choose from. We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday there and they were very accommodating and everyone had a great time!“
“One of my favorite places to go when I'm near Lake Bluff. The people that work here are an absolute delight and the food is delicious. So many great options and at a great price.Parking: Parking lot is a bit small, but there are some other spots across the streetKid-friendliness: Menu is friendly for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Possible, but configuration of doors may make it a bit challenging“
“Really appreciated the fact that the food is freshly prepared and comes out piping hot. The fries were really good, nicely seasoned and not greasy at all, actually a bit crunchy to perfection. The chicken sandwich and burger we ordered were really nicely flavored. Overall a nice lunch place when craving burger or chicken sandwich with a bit of a kick. We didn't try any drink so can't comment on the bobas they did look nice though.“
“They never miss to make great food in here, Italian beef is fire, and burgers are made well and placed perfectly. Whatever they are doing back there they are doing right. Only complaint would be the blond muscular gentleman seems to always have an attitude. If he sees this all I gotta say is chill out broski it will be alright ?“
“Wow. Best burger I’ve had in awhile…. Very simple but everything was delicious. The employee recommended the smash sauce instead of cheese for dipping fries and I’m glad we listened. ?Kid-friendliness: Smaller burgers for the kiddos was also helpful so they weren’t wasting part of a huge sandwich“
“This is an institution in Skokie! I wish you could give it more stars. The hotdogs are sensational. The burgers are the best around the french fries what dreams are made of their chicken breast sandwiches satisfying any non-meat lovers appetite everything there is excellent. The staff is great the owners great, thank you so much for being here and providing the great food. If you're in Skokie, do not miss this place the chain that begins with P and ends in OS cannot compare.“

Here, in this haven on Waukegan Road, you will find more than just a meal or a drink—you will find a piece of home.“
“Craving for a good burger? Stop by Wick n Ore! I recommend the Wagyu Burger on a Pretzel Bun with American Cheese, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Pickles and Sautéed Onions. The burger was cooked perfectly and ingredients were fresh. Their house fries were really crispy and not overly salty. Our waitress was amazing. Attentive, very friendly and also made some good recommendations on food. Do save room for dessert! Highly recommend their dessert shots. Their house made apple crisp was amazing!! Can't go wrong with vanilla ice cream and whip cream on top on an hot apple pie! A very casual place to dine in with friends and family and catch parts of the football game during the season.“
“The food is consistently very good & fresh. The burgers are smaller than they used to be & more than a little pricey. The shrimp cocktail is very tasty with horseradish in the sauce. The french fries & coleslaw are also really good too.“
“My experience at Miramar was amazing, the food was spectacular and really tasted amazing, our server, Sebastian really made us feel welcome and was really what made us feel special, If you are planning on visiting I would definitely recommend him, not only was he great in recommending dishes but really went the extra mile in being great. This restaurant is vacant quite often but really is a hidden gem, I would highly recommend visiting!Vegetarian options: There are many vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Easily able to accommodateParking: Plenty of parking available on the streetKid-friendliness: Kid Friendly OptionsWheelchair accessibility: First Floor“
“Great bar! Like a REAL bar, where you can grab a beer and a shot, talk Chicago sports and neighborhood with Regulars, helmed by a great bartender, Ken. Bonus Points... having an incredible name (Bringer Inn, love that) and being right next door to, arguably, Chicago's BEST Deep Dish pizza.“
“The food here is AMAZING! It’s an excellent place to try something new or familiar but with an elevated taste. Plus it’s Vegetarian friendly!Vegetarian options: Every burger on the menu is able to be substituted for either a mushroom burger OR an impossible burger. They’re both delicious.“
“Been a customer since 1978 when it opened. There have been a few changes in ownership over the last 10 years, but the food quality has come back to an excellent level again. Love the gyros. The meat, the bread and how it’s cooked, and the sauce are amazing. But their gyros are not the only food they serve. Make a trip . It’s worth it.“
“I've driven past this place so many times and I finally decided to try it out. Only carry-out and delivery right now with the pandemic. I ordered 2 Big Island Classic burgers, 1 smokehouse burger, and another basic burger with one small cheese fry. It took 25-30min for preparation. This seems to be a 2 man operation (dad and maybe his daughter) and it was at prime lunchtime. I didn't realize the description online said the island and smokehouse burgers were on french bread so that was a surprise but not bad. Personally, we weren't the biggest fans of how the burgers were cooked, charred and well-done, but the toppings were great and my sister said the ketchup to mayo ratio on hers was perfect! The cheddar fries are Merkt's cheddar which I now know isn't my favorite but for those that like Merkt's, there is lots of it and covers all the fries. Thanks for lunch, Little Island :-)“
“No frills location in a strip center. The staff was friendly and it was clean for a "hole in the wall" type place. There are quite a few menu options.I with with a Chicago dog, fries, and drink and it was less than 10 bucks. You can't beat that. The fries were cooked enough to not be wimpy, another few seconds in the fryer would have been perfect. Well seasoned, and you get a huge order. The dog was perfect. I'd put it up against the more well known places in the Chicago area. Bun was soft, seasoning spot on, and the veggies fresh.“
“I had passed Meier's Tavern for years and decided to stop there today. I was not disappointed. The Patty Melt was the best I've had in years! The atmosphere was appealingly old school, the service was casual and friendly. Needless to say, I'll be back“
“They give you nice fat chunks of gyro meat here, it's excellent. My wife and I had a Chicago dog, pizza puff, bomber special, onion rings, Oreo shake. Everything was very good and the prices were fine. Bomber Special and Pizza Puff were my faves. Great dive vibes; it's a tiny 8-stool bar with a little TV in the corner. Playing tennis when I went (hell yeah)The gyro meat was chunky and had a good bite, and with BBQ sauce on the bomber special it was insane. The onion rings are breaded and I personally prefer battered, but the breading was even and fried well, and the inside was all beautiful stringy onions. Pizza puff was fantastic, great cheese and sauce ratio and really satisfying bites all the way through.Chicago dog was good, they use a poppyseed bun (I'm sick of going to spots with regular buns, this is a real dog) except I think the sports peppers were a little heavy. Tomatoes were a little light, but I prefer that. Oreo shake was excellent, it was creamy and a little icey in a good wayThe guy was really nice too. He was great at interacting with the customers that were interested and laying off the ones just trying to enjoy their food. 10/10 spot“
“Late Sunday night can't believe they were open, didn't want to cook. Glad to be helped out by Rachel at the speaker and the window. I have managed retails and restaurant locations for over 16 years and an employee like Rachel is special. Very kind, bright and welcoming and witty banter to make my visit stand out. The food was great as well. Thank you Sunday night crew for a great experience.“
“Food was excellent and fast friendly service. It's located in a hotel but there was plenty of parking. The prime rib was delicious!Vegetarian options: It's a steak house, no vegan options.Wheelchair accessibility: Very wheelchair accessible tables, entrance, and bathroom.“
“Always the best, fast good food and the staff rocks it!!!Vegetarian options: A switch or two and it’s vegan or vegetarian and they totally don’t mind theyCare more to make you happy’!!!Dietary restrictions: Vegans at the shop and the pasta is perfect salads as well!!!“
“This Burger King is sincerely the best I've experienced by far in many years!! Food was fast hot correct and the service is impeccable. Employees were busting bootie getting the food together and the cashier was wonderful and friendly. So refreshing to see. Seems like nobody takes pride in their jobs anymore. These folks clearly do. Great job guys. Thank you!“
“My wife and I along with our neighbors dined in on Friday. We went there for the Walleye and Cod dinners the Walleye was delicious, and the cod was not quite as delicious. It wasn't inedible but was quite dry and quite bland. We were a little disappointed with the Cod, but very happy with our meal. The employees were fantastic, the restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was comfortable. Oh, I also had a scoop of chocolate custard and it was the best. Thank you, and we'll be back.“
“The food here is always amazing. The staff is so friendly. Drive thru lines are quick and efficient. Dining inside is always a good time. They forgot small something in our order one time and we noticed it when we got home so we called and they gave us multiple free meals to make up for it. They always go above and beyond to make sure their customers and happy.“
“They need to come down in their prices but other than that a great place to dine in with the family, staff is TOP Knotch and the atmosphere well you can’t get any better than this! Come and find out for yourself I promise you’ll only leave disappointed with how much it costs!“
“Have had their spicy tuna roll a few times which is always amazing (like downtown restaurant amazing) and their fried chicken strips today were heavenly. Best recipe I’ve ever tasted with a perfect crisp that didn’t get soggy and warmed up well later, and the sauces were great. Huge fan. Possibly obsessed.“
“Portillo's in Skokie is a great spot for a delicious and casual Chicago-style dining experience. They're famous for their Italian beef sandwiches, Chicago-style hot dogs, and decadent chocolate cake. The restaurant also boasts a fun 1930s Prohibition-style theme, complete with vintage décor and gingham tablecloths. If you're looking for a taste of Chicago, Portillo's in Skokie is a definite must-try!“
“We went for Friday fish fry and they didn’t disappoint with all you can eat and light breading on the beer batter. Excellent Clam chowder as well with a Reuben sandwich to go for lunch the next day. Also excellent service as well Plus great atmosphere will definitely be back.“
“We live literally 5-8min away walking, but we never took the decision to go until a couple of days ago. We tried double cheese burger and regular burger with bacon (they come with fries!) onion rings and a chocolate milkshake. They were all delicious, good portions and very reasonable prices. They have a train where they deliver your food, mostly is an experience for kids, but is different. The service was nice too. They get suuuper busy on weekends, so you have to be prepare because there are not that many spaces to sit. In any case, I believe worth the wait. The place opened a long time ago and after having been closed a couple of times they came back. You can read its history on their website! Recommended.Parking: The place has its own dedicated space for parking, I would say it has room for around 20 cars. Since is so close to my house, we walk there but it's always super full and I still can see a couple of spaces. Also, there are a couple of areas around that you could find some parking space if you find that one full.“
“We have taken several tour groups to Hangar Two by Tangled Roots Brewing Co. The food is amazing and the staff is friendly and extremely professional. We love a venue that we can trust with our clients. We plan to bring many more groups. Thank you to Caryn Z. Shulman and Earnest for treating our group as if it were your own family!“
“Reliable hot dogs and the like. Chocolate shakes are good. Cheese sauce at Deer Frank's is better. Why do they make those poor folks stand out in the cold to take your order though? There was no line when I went and still someone was made to work outside in the just freezing temperatures.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible and drive through.“
