“We catered for a birthday with 20+ guests last weekend. We met with Holly prior to ordering to discuss the size of the trays, amount of food needed, and both VG and GF options. She was very friendly and helpful. Our order was ready, warm, and complete when we picked it up. The amount of food was perfect and everyone in attendance thought all of the food was delicious and included great variety. Would do this again! Highly recommend Cedar Grill.Vegetarian options: Falafel, hummus, babaganoush, saladsDietary restrictions: Gluten free. Staff did inform us that the rice is not GF.“
“Absolutely hands down, the best quick serve Mediterranean food I've had. I was a consistent Naf Naf customer, but have now order from here instead. The rice was cooked perfectly (no dry hard pieces), meat very flavorful, hummus so fresh, side salad delicious. We had the chicken shawarma, gyro, combo plate. Every meat was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. For a quick serve, this restaurant blew me away.“
“Vasili’s is our go to place for a nice dinner with friends in Naperville the food is always phenomenal, the service is friendly and fast, and the ambiance gives me a city vibe. Highly recommend for fun cocktails & delicious food. Order the appetizer sausage even though that seems weird, the Caesar salad that is way better than the norm, the lamb and shrimp skewers, the Feta Brined Chicken, and the fancy espresso martini - you’re welcome.“
“I enjoy getting takeout from Pita Zone. The flavor, portions, and value are better than other restaurants in the area. My orders are always ready by the promised time and the different people who have completed my transactions were all pleasant, helpful, and professional. The menu has a great selection of options so I can order from Pita Zone when I have different cravings.“
“They have extremely delicious food! Meat for every taste. Very nice and polite staff. I would especially like to mention Eduard, who tried to help with the choice of food and pays a lot of attention to everyone who visits. Definitely five stars! I recommend!“
“I ordered the shish kebab, kufta kebab, and chicken shish tawook to share for lunch. Everything was ready in 15 minutes. Each dish was served on a bed of golden rice with a small salad on the side as well as a tasty homemade sauce. I asked for a couple containers of hot sauce as well. These are the best skewers I've had. Everything was tender and juicy, especially the lamb! I hope they bring back the lamb chops platter.“
“The owner of the establishment was so nice and walked us through the menu when we told him it was our first visit to the restaurant! We ended up ordering a chicken shawarma wrap and the chicken was very well cooked and paired nicely with the garlic sauce, tahini, and fries. I really enjoyed the food portions as well and thought the prices were fair! There was plenty of seating the restaurant itself is well kept. I will definitely be back soon!!“
“Been here a few times and absolutely love the environment, so cozy cute and just simply a wonderful place to bring your significant other for a beautiful dinner date! Also food is zabiha halal and truly authentic Turkish! Chicken doner is amazing and so doner kabob mmmm!!!“
“I have tried other uzbeki/central asian restaurants but this one wins. THE Best uzbeki , Central asian food in chicago! The kebab skewers are charred/cooked to perfection. If you are a food lover and LOVE GOOD QUALITY MEAT this is your place. Alhumdulilah they are Halal and we enjoyed iftar here. Food came Out to the table in short time and was very hot and fresh! Amazing find and will definitely come back here often!!! This place is a MUST TRY.“
“I've been to Dolce many times. The food is outstanding! The atmosphere is great and normally the service is excellent. This night in particular the service was a bit disappointing but we still had a great time celebrating my mom's 86th birthday.“
“Hands down the best slider trio I have ever had. Regular cheeseburger was terrific. Buffalo chicken with blue cheese was outstanding. But the winner was the pot roast slider. Wow. Tons of flavor and very juicy. We had never been to down Elmhurst and decided to try this gem. We will be back!!!“
“I had the Shawarma wrap, my coworkers had the chicken and veggies lunch specials. The Shawarma wrap was "ok". I should have gotten the lunch special. The staff was friendly and courteous. The place was clean and bright. Located on the first floor. Handicapped parking available. The fries ? with the Shawarma were good, but not plentiful. Fountain drinks are Pepsi products.Vegetarian options: My coworker enjoyed the veggie lunch special.Parking: Handicapped parking available.“
“If you are looking for hole in the wall Mediterranean place then Nay it is. This is the best Mediterranean food in the suburbs. The food is just delicious here. You can't go wrong with pretty much anything on the menu. I love the Nay Veggies and Falafel Wrap. My husband just loves the mix grill platter. Service is good and food tastes always fresh. The ambience is just ok, they got 6-7 seating tables, and the restaurant is clean. There is a parking in front of the restaurant.“
“Food is delicious, especially halawet jeben. Just like other Arab businesses, they lack good communication, so make sure you are very clear about your order and time of pickup, text them again and hour before pickup and when you are in the parking lot, annoying, but worth it.“
“Has so many choices of food from sandwiches to sea food and regular grill food ! The only thing Abt the Italian beef it wasn't as proportioned in meat compared to Portillos for example.. Great service and lots of seating to your comfort! Will definitely come back to try other meals !“
“The owners made me feel like I was a regular, and had been going there for years.., but it was actually my first time eating there . The Lemon chicken soup was the best I've ever had! Went back the next day to bring some home to Missouri. (Here on vacation and wanted to share with friends when I get home) I will definitely be back. Ohh and the homemade bread they serve with the soup came out of the oven while they packaged my soup to go, and it was warm and sliced for me on the spot. It doesn't get better than this family owned hidden gem. Thank you Grapevine, I'll be back next time I visit!“
“Whenever I'm in Chicago I search for hidden gem foodie spots. I mean Chicago is literally foodie Heaven. We didn't dine in because we were trying to prepare for an event but I'm kind of glad we didn't. It's small and dark inside, and I felt like the tables were too close together. But they made up for it all with an AMAZING breakfast. I got the gyro skillet. Absolutely delicious!! The picture does it absolutely no justice.. I never thought of gyro as a breakfast item and now I know I need it often. There were huge portions of meat and amazing tzatziki sauce and nobody will ever call them stingy with the cheese because for every bite I got delicious feta cheese chunks mixed in. It was amazing. The pancakes were basic, there was nothing wrong with them but I'm not going to reminisce on them. But that gyro skillet!!! I can't wait to get it again“
“The food and service were amazing, my second time coming here for lunch and I’m blown away with the taste and quality of food. The staff is very friendly and answers any questions related to the menu. Would recommend to anyone - fantastic spot for some delicious Mediterranean food ??“
“At first when I walk in there's no music playing and it's eerie. The atmosphere seems a bit sad. When he brought us the food that's where the focused changed. The food was good, just wished it would have been a bit hotter but there was flavor in the food. It kept us busy. He seemed to be friendly and kind with everyone he met. I am assuming he is the owner or some sort of management. I would recommend it for eating out but if you are looking to eat in maybe not a good idea if atmosphere matters to you.“
“Very helpful staff. We were visiting from out of town and hadn’t an infant that was growing hungry and grumpy. Staff were quick to assist and offered a bowl of rice and cucumber salad for our infant. They also went above and beyond and boiled water for our newborn so we can mix formula on the go! Will definitely be back again“
“I've been here for breakfast before and thoroughly enjoyed it. This was the first time I've eaten dinner at Peasino's. It was amazing! Everything we ordered was from the appetizer menu (3 spreads with bread, fish tacos, a delicious fig and prosciutto flatbread, and an order of street corn). We loved it all. Our server, Chris K., was charming and delightful. We will definitely be back and hopefully Chris will be working when we do. Go! You won't be disappointed.“
“I came here on a Sunday morning and was pleased with the service and food! My friend and I got seated within 10 mins and decided to split a savory and sweet option. The portobello mushroom focaccia was cooked very well and the portobello itself was very tender and paired well with the peppers and balsamic vinaigrette inside. My favorite item personally is the nutty Nutella waffle, but you should def come in with a sweet tooth if you plan on ordering it:)“
“I took my mom here for lunch. We were surprised by the service and quality. It wasn't what we expected for a restaurant inside the mall. We had a margarita (excellent), lobster bisque, spinach and artichoke appetizer and salmon. It was delicious! The dessert was even better!! We recommend the red velvet cupcake and lemon ricotta cookie. We just wish they had cappuccino. They only serve regular coffee.“
“The food was soooo good. The falafel was crispy and fresh. We got something with cheese and was absolutely delicious ?. The zaa'tar with cheese was also good but the zaa'tar was a little thick. The fries crispy and seasoned well. The baba ghanoush was so good and filled with flavor. The hummus and shawerma on top was absolutely a fav. Will be coming back!“
“I ordered from the catering menu, ordered mixed grill and shawarma; both had a reasonable quantity, and the food was made fresh and delicious. All the food was prepared within an hour.I highly recommend this place for catering and also for individual meals.I also usually get a shawarma combo for lunch, which is good.Give it a try. Don't just take my word for it. ?Vegetarian options: Falafel sandwich or plate“
“It was the first time trying this restaurant,And it's going to be one of my favorite places to dine in. Food is so delicious, perfect spices, taste good ?, thank you chefs, service is good, mid size parking, the place clean and bright, cozy little bit but it's OK, they have drive thru too, please keep it like that,I appreciate your efforts ?Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options“
“Place was old school with workers who have been there for several years. It was fun to listen to the old timers banter each other and the regulars. The food was okay, not the traditional gyro but huge portions of meat and onions if that’s what you’re looking for.“
“Great food great customer service clean restaurant! I highly recommend this restaurant! And guys if you’re reading my review when one of your customers communicates with you in Arabic please reply back in Arabic because it’s part of the customer experience going to such a restaurant to feel back home!the 1 missing ⭐️ was for that obviously!Parking: They have their own parking at Least 2 spots“
“We ordered 2 times from here for dinner. The portions were very generous and well worth the cost. We enjoyed each dish and definitely have our favorites. The Jerusalem salad, hummus, falafel, and Baklava were amazing. We ordered take-out so really never paid attention to the ambiance, so I did not rate that.“
“Had an amazing lunch!!! Food selection is amazing. I wound up with the Tuna Poke Bowl and it didn’t disappoint. Our waitstaff was attentive to detail. I am not a big dessert person when I go out, but the Key Lime Pie was calling our names. SOOOOO good!!! Thank you for a great meal. We will be back very soon.“
