“A wonderful establishment! The new cook, Mark, is definitely on the ball. The food was cooked made to order, accurately dressed, quality and quantity was two thumbs up. The atmosphere is quietly pleasant yet enough pep to get the spirits going. It is a good place to gather with friends and family or just a quiet evening out solo or with a significant other. This establishment is kid friendly, but most adults choose family time here during the day or dinner. “My big sister helps run the place on the weekends and works the kitchen . it's a nice quiet relaxing spot to play some pool, play video games, darts , have some drinks and great food plus, the atmosphere is always chilled. I highly recommend the double cheeseburger and fries combo with a drink for only 6$, or for a starter the cauliflower bites coupled with mini tacos are also pretty great. Brews are solid priced and reasonable and so are shots it's a great place to stop in and have a few drinks or hang out with friends and get together.“
“If you like local dive bars and pizza this is the place to go. Their pizza is the bomb ? The staff is friendly and most of the regulars are too. Lol. They also have an AMI jukebox, an ATM machine, several TV screens to watch sports games, and video gambling machines. They have a back patio with seating for smokers and they usually have heat out back when they remember to refill the propane tanks. It’s usually just one bartender waiting on everyone and making the pizzas in their pizza oven. Drink a cold one and enjoy the atmosphere while you wait. ??“

“Seemingly innocuous facade outside but once you walk into the unassuming front entrance it's a pleasant surprise. We didn't eat and it was our first experience. We stopped by out of curiousity and a night cap- coupled with a little slot action. The bartender was pretty great and the bar was clean, well lit & maintained. The mixed drink my partner got was affordable and the PBR was cold. Overall, I can't wait to support this unique, lo al, popular business in the future. Being a chef, I'm VERY curious about the food so we'll definitely be back for that!!!“

“Had a VERY large party here the other day, about 30 or more people. The food was very good and came out fast. We were greeted at the door by a manager and he was very polite! He also made sure to come by and check on us. The experience was made wonderful by our server McKenzie and the entire staff! As far as our server she was so happy and cheerful the entire time, always had a smile on her face and recommended so many amazing drinks to us! I can not say enough good things about her and the experience just through this review! Do yourself a favor if you are planning to stop by here or have a large group of people I can not recommend a better server than this sweet girl! Best Hotshots around!“

“Planned to meet friends with under-age kids here on a Friday night after a high school football game. Late-night food options in Alton are sparse. Had eaten here in the past, but apparently this bar/restaurant recently changed ownership. The once loud dance crowd was absent and few cars occupied the parking lot. The menu appeared the same. We ordered chicken wings, peel n eat shrimp and a burger. They only had cajun shrimp left, so after seeing the folks behind me being served the ribeye dinner, I changed my order. Wow. Great flavor, and served with roasted potatoes and fresh green beans. I was impressed. All that was missing was bread, but I didn't care much. I liked the quieter atmosphere and after a very drunk man made a huge scene and a fool of himself, the manager stopped by our table with an apology. Very good service. Excellent value for a steak dinner. Still a great place to eat. The entire meal was less than $30 for two drinks, burger/fries, and steak dinner!“

“The food! You can't ask for a better steak meal. It does tend to get a little busy but those waitresses keep up without an issue. All the renovations the Ross and Dawn have done really are a breath of fresh air in the area. Anyone can catch just about any game while enjoying a cold beer, and a filling delicious meal in a wholesome family atmosphere that you might hope to expect from your hometown. The entire staff are rockstars and this is one to remember to watch out for!“
