“This is a case of don't judge a book by its cover. Most small bars are known just for the drinks and cheap beer, but this place was awesome. Buffalo cauliflower bites were amazing, pizza was excellent, wings were bomb, and fries were cooked perfectly.“

“This bar reminds me of one of those bars where it's 5:o'clock somewhere and this is Where!! I stopped in waiting on some friends too come up from Galena thinking Aah I'll just have one little quiet relaxing Sunday drink until they get there. Lol 30 minutes later I was having the time of my life!!! I didn't want to leave.. Lol people were dancing and everyone was super nice from the Bartender to everyone inside!! Plus I don't think I bought one drink haha. everyone was buying Would definitely stop in again. My kind of Place“

“1st time here. The bartender was really friendly and gave me the grand tour of the place. Slot machines, pool table, I was surprised at the different things that were available besides gambling. Love the old school bar with the foot rest. It’s a place you can sit for hours and drink and bs with the bartender (guys she is cute) (ladies she is nice and professional) I’m not much of a gambler, but if I keep coming here I can quit my job. Nice payouts!! It’s like a Kick back to the old school East dubuque days (you know what I mean!!) but way better!!!“

“Kevin and his wife are amazing! Excellent customer service! Very unique decor! Awesome specialty drinks based off the prohibition time! You can tell the owners put their heart and soul into this business! Speakeasy vibe! Highly recommend checking out this establishment!!“

“Hey misty i think you reviewed the wrong bar!! There are never and i mean never fights at R Place. This is a locals friendly bar with lots of friendly people and a friendly owner as well. I think you must have been reviewing the cave..that is the only bar in east dubuque even i stay away from. Google or someone needs to remove mistys post.“

“Hidden NEW gem! Used to be Silver Spoon right next to camp ground. Inside was nicely decorated and renovated. We came and ordered at the bar. The pool is right outside, but for camp ground. The playground which is accessible is HUGE and incredible. It's a large covered play house. To eat there were TONS of outdoor areas to choose from. The food was well made. We loved the pretzel buns and lake fries! The cheese curds were a nice crunch and our daughter ate most of them! Definitely coming back!“

“Nothing beats the original footlong chili dog. Had my first one as a kid in the early 60's on the family Sunday road trip to Illinois (Iowa was dry at the time). Anytime I'm back in the area, need to stop in for one, or maybe two.“

“My wife and I had lunch here yesterday and the food and beer were FANTASTIC!! We really enjoyed our meal and Chad was great. We always ask about local beers and recommendations for food and he happily took his time with us. We felt very welcomed. We had a great experience. You can't go wrong having lunch here!
