“This cafe and sandwich shop was a nice discovery while out in Elburn today. I really like the bread they use for their sandwiches. It's a simple sub or baguette but it has a great chew that just made me devour the one that I ordered. I got the Yardbird which comes with a tasty herby chicken salad, bacon, lettuce and tomato. The sandwich was super tasty and they didn't skimp on the chicken salad. Also ordered an iced vanilla latte which was good. The service was great. They just do counter orders and the friendly barista had my drink out fast and the sandwich a very short time after. The place is cozy but didn't feel cramped and I wouldn't have minded sticking around to eat if I wasn't in a rush to get back home. I'm definitely keeping the Corner Grind in mind next time I'm hungry out west.Kid-friendliness: Noticed two families with kids there while I picked up my order“

“We dined in, food was good! Fries weren’t very fresh didn’t feel like bothering them for new ones. They take a while to come to the register to take your order even after asking them if we could place our order, they continued to laugh and converse and then come up to take our order.Bathrooms were clean! So that’s a plus.“

“Love going here! Staff is great and has become comfortable with us as we stop here quite a bit! They gave us free donuts before closing, which was so kind and a fun thing to surprise our family with! We come here to work, draw, write and sometimes just to hangout and talk- it's been a great atmosphere for everything! They're flexible with what drinks they'll make and they always come out tasting great;Parking: The parking is good! Plenty of space for the location! Never struggled to find a place!Kid-friendliness: A lot of the menu is kid friendly (of course) and the atmosphere due to their upkeep in decorations is super fun!“

And the owner is super friendly and accommodating. The science aspect is also super cool, love what they’re doing with getting kids interested in science!“
