“My wife and I went to Garden on Main with my daughter and her finance for a late lunch. I was told by a neighbor to try them out. My daughter and I had the soup of the day. ( Can't remember the name but had egg and sausage ) The soup was recommended by our waitress and it was a great choice !! The food was GREAT and the service was just as good !! We joked with one of the waitress the food taste like someone mom made it. She stated that there are two mom's in the kitchen cooking right now. The food was very flavorful, fresh and a lot of it ! Two meals ,one salad ,two soup's ,two ice tea's, one coke and a beer under $100 :) To top it off, my wife went over to check out the different ice cream. Nice gesture, they gave her two free scoops. “I am in love with country donuts! The flavors are so delicious and you can taste the freshness. The lattes are great too! I had their cherry filled chocolate frosted donut which was generously filled, a chocolate glazed, and a lemon cake old fashioned. All were delicious! I also had a white chocolate pecan cookie which was amazing, big and chewy and sweet. Excited to visit many more times and try many more flavors. The prices are cheaper than most coffee/donuts shops. Fantastic donuts! Moist and fresh tasting. I doubt you can go wrong with anything you try at this place. The service is always bright and cheerful every day. “Loved this place. For a coffee shop there was ample choices for food. This was the most spacious coffee shop I have ever been to. Once the outdoor space is finished this will be the place to be. I have never seen so many remote workers in the same place.“
“We stopped by to purchase a gift certificate, but we ended up staying for supper. The staff was more than friendly and welcoming, and we ordered an Old Fashioned and a wine flight of their featured Galena wines. We stayed long enough for the food truck to arrive, and we enjoyed some amazing smashed burgers paired with rosemary seasoned fries. Mmmmmm! It was a great evening, and the place was filled with a variety of patrons in search of coffee, wine, donuts, ice cream, and food from the food truck. “Southern Belle's is a really good restaurant. The service is top-notch. The food is cooked fresh. The Southern Belles skillet is by far my favorite breakfast dish. My wife enjoys the Pesto Egg Benedict. Super fresh and yummy. Also the Pancakes are huge, buttery and the house syrup is excellent. Their mixed drinks, brewed drinks and mimosa's are pretty great and well worth it. I had the Chi Tea ice latte and it was fantastic. The price is good.My wife and I have enjoyed Brunch Cafe and Maple n Syrup. But Southern Belle's is by far our favorite place for breakfast. We highly recommend it and like we said the service is excellent. “This coffee shop has a cozy and decent atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed vibe. However, the staff's inattentiveness was a downside, impacting the overall experience. The coffee, unfortunately, was mediocre, but the saving grace was the yummy chocolate chip muffin. Sadly, my boyfriend's peanut butter and mocha latte didn't meet expectations. Considering the mixed experience, I might not return.“

“Yesterday when I was getting my daughter her usual Frappuccino, I was behind a car of teenagers that were literally screaming at the girl working the drive-through. I think it might’ve pierced her ear drums. I had my windows closed and could hear everything they were screaming at this poor girl. The way she was able to keep her calm and composure while being screamed at by multiple teenagers was most impressive. This happened at 2:45 on December 14 at the Mchenry location off Richmond Road. That girl deserves a raise. I’m not joking when I think there were six people in a small car all screaming at her because they didn’t have what they wanted and were just obnoxious jerks. They are lucky I wasn’t running the drive thru. Kudos to that girlfor her calm composure and politeness. No one deserves to be treated that way.“
“When this location first opened it took over 20 minutes to get a drink and then it was made wrong. I was the only person there so it wasn't a long line issue. I have been there more recently and they are up to speed, making drinks correctly, the interior is always clean and organized, staff is friendly.“
