“I have been to this location in Elgin. I have been there five or six times in the last week. It gets very busy on Friday nights, Saturday nights. And Sunday afternoons. That's to be expected at Culver's. When I arrived, I was greeted when i walked through the door. I ordered my food, a double sourdough melt with deep fried cheese curds. it was delicious. A few days passed, and I returned to the culver's in Elgin. I ordered a double butter burger. Chili cheese, fries, and a scoop with hot caramel and banana. These were also very good. I received my food promptly. Every part of my order was hot and fresh. I have no complaints to state about Culver's.“

The people that work here have always been attentive and friendly and the food tastes amazzzzzing! “wonderful portillo's. this was my first experience at a portillo's franchise and I had a wonderful time. the food was a little more expensive than anticipated but well worth it. there are not a lot of quality beef sandwiches at fast food places but portillo's delivers with both the italian beef sandwich and the beef and cheddar croissant. the strawberry shake was also delightful. I am not the biggest fan of the fries but I subscribe to the belief that nobody does crinkle cut like Dave's Hot Chicken. the ambiance of the restaurant was also lovely.“
“Cheesy beef garlicy bread was really good. Excellent flavor. Good texture in the meat, cheese did not overpower the meat flavor and I can taste the garlic bread. The only minor complaint that I'd say is the juice that I ordered in the two cups, one of them was smashed, crushed and dribbled all over the inside of the plastic bag. The only other thing is the sandwich seemed a little bit on the small side, much smaller than a portillo's.“
“Took The Wife here for a late lunch. It was busy-ish, but we got a table fairly quickly. I got a Cheeseburger that took a very long time to make, and The Wife got a soup and half a sandwich. Nice place for the most part, but the seats and tables were sticky and dirty. Prices were more than average. A bit on the high side. Not sure if we'll come back.“
