Typical diner establishment located off Lake Street in Elmhurst. Ordered the Denver omelet with pancakes. The omelets are oven baked so they come out a little dry on the outside. Pancakes were too bland and dry for my liking as well. Although the food was subpar, the staff was courteous and friendly. Have not been here in a while. Restaurant is modern and updated. It looks to be a very popular place. I hade an asparagus omelet with a biscuit, and a side of crispy bacon. My husband had corn beef hash, with buttermilk pancakes, and 2 eggs sunny side up. The quantity of food was impressive and it was cooked perfectly. Very good overall. The omelet wasn't a traditional omelet but it is good. I like that the cheese caramelized on the ends of it. The english muffin was good. The pancakes to me smelled like pretzels at first, then I tasted them and they taste like pretzels still. It was very good. One of my favorite pancakes for sure. I definitely recommend coming to this place. I will definitely be returning. The menu is kind of small but that is ok.
