“Food was very good. I ended up with chilaquiles (with chicken breast) and my friend got the pupusas and dobladas. Really solid, and I appreciate the subtle differences in flavors between the Guatamalan dishes and standard Mexican fare. However, only 4/5 because ordering (in English) was difficult. I tried to get grilled skirt steak and a green chicken enchilada (as a single item, listed that way on the menu) but what was originally brought out was 3 green chicken enchiladas. I explained the issue and thought it was clear but ended up getting brought the chilaquiles. My friend got his pupusas but the dobladas was not brought and had to be ordered again. The food was delicious and I'm not a picky eater so this wasn't a huge deal, but others that need to order a specific thing, in English, may have trouble. I will be back though, and I will brush up on my Spanish.“

It's definitely on the pricey side but it's in a popular part of Chicago so that's to be expected. They can customize them to your liking if you want to swap out certain ingredients. Service was super friendly and recognized my sweaty face after my second visit which made me laugh. “Came here in the middle of the day during a weekday, so it was pretty empty. That also mean we got served very quickly. The store had a cute wall and seating along the wall, but no tables. So it might be a little awkward if you have a large group. The drinks were pretty good though, we got the brown sugar milk tea everything was decent. Definitely not the best boba I've had, but the pearls were decently chewy and the flavor was decently good. My friend enjoyed his smoothie as well. Overall a pretty solid boba place. “This is a perfect addition to DG! I’ve tried so many acai places in the city but the bowl I had from here today was honestly the best one by a long shot. I ordered the large size because usually I feel like you get skimped on acai bowls but this wasn’t the case at all, it was actually huge and worth the price. The only small issue I had was that the acai bowl was so packed with toppings (which is great), that when I took the lid off the container I had to transfer it to a bigger bowl or it would’ve made a huge mess. Other places I’ve been to have used containers with a wider rim at the top so the toppings don’t spill out and it’s easier to mix. But the acai itself was amazing, I’ll definitely be back to try more off the menu“
