“Visited this place with a friend a few times in the past, one of the best Asian restaurants in the area.You can tell the eggrolls are fresh when you can taste the ingredients instead of grease, and the sweet and sour sauce (ask for home made, not packet)- I'd say both are fantastic.Never had a single bad meal here, food is fast, staff efficient and courteous, and you get a large amount of food for the price.While it *can* get more expensive, sharing meals cuts down on the cost, and the food IS worth it.Only complaint is parking is iffy, but between Johnnie's beef and the other lots you'll likely find something nearby...pulls you out of the experience abit, but the food is worth it.“

“Overall the taste of all the ingredients is very good and well seasoned. They also has some toppings less commonly seen like shredded beets and bean sprouts! The place is very clean and they also weigh the noodles/rice to ensure evenness. The only con I would say is that the scoops of fish are on the small side so I would recommend 5 scoops over 3 for an adult. Also you get more fish if you choose the fish that already have spicy sauce, like spicy tuna, as opposed to plain fish, like plain salmon, due to the scoop shape. The seaweed salad topping and masago are both $1 extra which a minor point off“

The sushi & sashimi are fantastic, everything was mouthwatering from the fatty tuna to the sea urchin apps, and of course the rolls, we had some classic rolls, as well as signature ones with tuna and mango and softshell crab rolls. We were four adults and two kids and they were able to accommodate us. We waited for some time wasn’t too long though. We also joined the waitlist on yelp. So the total wait time was around an hour. We repeated some appetizers for sure!! Also the motchi ice cream was so good. Will visit again for sure.“

Food: chicken karaage was my least favorite I wasn't a fan of the batter and the texture/flavor was not what I expected. I really enjoyed my sushi rolls and the ramen was good for the most part it was basic and I added some additives (fish cakes (upcharge to add), corn and bean sprouts)“

We had diff types of sushi, ramen, gyoza, edamame, and Taiyaki with vanilla ice cream for dessert. All were delish and brought to our table quickly. The place was clean and staff were efficient. We sat on the part of the restaurant where you sit on the floor while you eat. We enjoyed the authentic Japanese dining set-up. They have various Japanese beer and wine, and dessert options as well. Prices are slightly higher than other Japanese restaurants nearby (Ari Sushi in Des Plaines & Sushi Nikko in Arlington Heights) but we can deal with it because of the efficient service. I think this becoming one of our fave sushi places.“

The Asian Tacos and Crazy Jalapeño are a must for starters and I've yet to have a specialty roll I didn't love, to include a few off-menu rolls. Be sure to ask your server about those. Speaking of the staff, very friendly and equally attentive. The speed of service is also above par. Nabuki is certainly a spot worth visiting the next time you're in Hinsdale.“
