“Hello I'm a African American woman who love, and enjoy your food at every visit. My food was wonderful, the cashier was great, the guy and young lady who prepare the the food was great, but the fat black young girl who changed the coffee, walked around and nothing else ,was informed that the coffee was cold was just as cold and disrespectful she has no business working with the public until she learn how to be respectful to people and stop being angry when asked to do her job.“
“We went Easter Morning for brunch and it was quite busy. The staff were not affected by the crowd, they were happy and very pleasant. The food was amazing. I would definitely recommend dining here. I know we will be back next time we are in Chicago ❤️“
“It's truly a crime that this place doesn't have more reviews. This is one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life. The sourdough is splendid, giving the crust a beautiful balance between soft and crunchy. The sauce is out of this world, I wish they sold jars of it so I could eat it more often. Every topping is incredibly flavorful and fresh. My favorites were the ricotta, cherry tomatoes, beef meatballs, and spinach.Make sure to preorder at least a day before you plan to go, since they make a limited amount of pizzas. Do yourself a favor and order the larger size, that way you can enjoy leftovers once you're back home and dreaming about the pizza! I can't wait to come back here again soon!“
“I will absolutely be returning to this restaurant. Highly recommend it either for a date night or a fun group outing. Their drinks and margaritas were all delicious and not too sweet. The flight of Mezcal was a great experience. I love mezcal but never had tried different kinds before. The waitress was attentive and nice. The chicken poblano enchiladas were delicious, highly recommend! We also ordered the guacamole trio and ceviche appetizers which isn't pictured because we devoured them pretty quickly.“
“Overall the taste of all the ingredients is very good and well seasoned. They also has some toppings less commonly seen like shredded beets and bean sprouts! The place is very clean and they also weigh the noodles/rice to ensure evenness. The only con I would say is that the scoops of fish are on the small side so I would recommend 5 scoops over 3 for an adult. Also you get more fish if you choose the fish that already have spicy sauce, like spicy tuna, as opposed to plain fish, like plain salmon, due to the scoop shape. The seaweed salad topping and masago are both $1 extra which a minor point off“
“A Gem in Logan Square: My Go-To Taco Spot A.K.A the Taco HavenNestled in the vibrant heart of Logan Square is a taco restaurant that has quietly woven itself into the fabric of my weekly routine. Over the past year, this modest establishment has proven itself to be a beacon of culinary delight, consistently serving up some of the most delicious tacos I've had the pleasure of tasting. The magic of this place isn't just in its food; it's in the warmth and friendliness that greet you the moment you step through the door. From my very first visit, I was hooked. Initially skeptical, wondering if my initial good experience was a fluke, I have been pleasantly surprised week after week. Not once in my regular visits, at least twice a week, have I encountered anything short of excellence. The consistency of their food quality is something of a rarity, making each meal a reassuringly delicious adventure. The menu, though I've barely scratched the surface, seems to dance through a symphony of flavors, each taco a masterpiece of taste and texture. The ingredients are always fresh, the combinations thoughtful, and the execution flawless. This is a place where you can sense the passion and care that goes into every dish. What sets this restaurant apart, even more, is the people behind it. The owner stands out as a pillar of friendliness and hospitality. There's an undeniable sense of community and customer service that makes you feel like more than just a customer; you feel part of a family. The staff mirrors this attitude, making every interaction, every order, and every visit feel personal and valued. In Logan Square, a neighborhood known for its culinary diversity and vibrancy, this taco restaurant shines as a testament to what happens when delicious food meets exceptional service. It's not just a place to eat; it's a destination for those who appreciate the finer details of dining out. For me, it has become a staple, a place where I can reliably find comfort, joy, and, most importantly, fantastic tacos. If you find yourself in Logan Square, do yourself a favor and visit this taco haven. Whether you're a taco aficionado or just someone in search of a warm, welcoming place to dine, you'll find something to love here. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, and I'm confident that anyone who experiences what this restaurant has to offer will feel the same.-Dr. Mahdi“
“Ordered the spicy spring roll salad for lunch today and it was delicious! It can be easily made gluten free if you ask them to switch Super Grains for the Rice/Quinoa blend. They accidentally forgot to put the dressing in the salads before they were delivered, and when we called to let them know, someone from the store drove them to our location right away. Amazing service!“
“Came here on my lunch break and I enjoyed everything! Surprisingly it was not too busy for a Saturday late morning so I was seated immediately. Both the host and waiter were very kind and attentive. Although I was on phone, there was some nice music playing in the background and dining area was very neat and clean. Lots of windows allowed plenty of natural sunlight as well. I'm looking forward to coming again to try the chilaquiles or sandwiches. I had the waffle combo which hit the spot and the waffle was perfectly crisp but fluffy inside.“
“We went to Farm Bar last night with another couple and it was so delicious I had to write a review. We started with the cheese curds and we all agreed that they are the best we have ever had. Then we had the salad that was on the Specials list. It was a smear of ricotta cheese with butter lettuce, peas, asparagus, watermelon radishes and a very light, tasty vinaigrette dressing. So fresh and flavorful. The owner came by our table and has a huge farm in Wisconsin so everything is so fresh and menu changes with seasons. My husband had the catfish. He is a southern boy and he loved it. Huge portion as well! Two of us had the cavatelli. Fresh pasta and layered with textures and flavors. And one of us had the burger. He said it was a great burger. Service was very friendly and we didn't feel rushed. Highly recommend Farm Bar!! Can't wait until the summer and the rooftop opens.“
“I love paulie gee's! So many good, unique vegan pies. I try to avoid Thursday nights since it's trivia night and it is ROWDY, but also if that's your thing definitely check it out everyone seems to have a great time! Bartenders are always wonderful, great jov all around.“
“The service was outstanding. Right when we walked in the host and bartender welcomed us. The dining room is one half of the space and the other half is the bar and high top tables. Cocktails were balanced and delicious. The food was outstanding. Quality ingredients thoughtfully prepared.“
“We visited for the first time yesterday and it was AMAZING! Great ambience, friendly staff, good music but the food was the star of the show. Absolutely delicious! Everything from the bread, salads, soups and entrees. We will definitely be back!!!“
“Fantastic spot for a delicious and enjoyable Japanese meal ?!!!Ekiben was a wonderful dining experience! From the moment I walked in.... the atmosphere was cosy and inviting. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering recommendations on the menu.I had the salmon teriyaki don. It tasted so fresh and flavorful. The ingredients were perfectly cooked and delightful ?.While the food was delicious, I'm also very optimistic that they will continue to innovate and introduce exciting new dishes in the future. ? For example, chef's choice section on the menu where they can showcase their culinary creativity, or loyalty program to reward frequent customers would be excellent (hopefully I don't ask them too much?)I truly enjoyed my experience at Ekiben, and I will definitely revisit and try another dish ?.“
“My family and I absolutely love this spot!! Their daily specials are top notch. And their chicken noodle soup is one of the best out there. You can tell it's homemade. We have not had something we did not like from Sunrise grill. The staff here is so wonderful. Always so nice and accommodating. We love the staff there. We always feel so welcomed.“
“Very fresh and delicious food for reasonable prices. Fast service. Atmosphere is clean and lots of seating. The fries are best eaten in restaurant hot, fresh, and crispy. My family and friends always enjoy great tacos here too.Vegetarian options: Paneer Taco and BurritoRice and Beans“
“Suda’s offers delicious Lebanese cuisine in an upscale and intimate dining space. We came in a large group and got to try out a variety of dishes, all amazed by the flavors and beautiful plating of the food — the roasted cauliflower (Arnibit), falafel, and baba ghanouj were delicious appetizers; among the mains, we loved the shrimp and lamb skewers, while the mixed grill offered a variety of meats; for dessert, the Knaef was a sweet and decadent standout. The prices here are on a slightly higher end, but the exceptional quality of the food makes it well worth it.“
“OH MY GOD THIS PLACE MAKES HEAVEN. My favorites: - any of the savory meat croissants - egg sandwich - any of the meat strombolis - salted caramel donut - gingersnap molasses cookie - twice-baked almond croissant - vegan dark chocolate banana bread with pecans - Two falls ago there was this amazing apple cider bearclaw donut thing. I haven't seen it since in the pastry case, but I can still taste its awesomeness in my mouth and hope it will one day return. Everything here is so moist and magical. For me, what sets Mindy's Bakery apart from other bakeries, and makes it clear why Mindy won the Beard award for Outstanding Chef in the US, is that Mindy and crew are always working to improve their craft, always using quality ingredients and making better versions of things all the time and I respect this so much. Also, when you come in through the door, you can see everyone behind the counter, working hard, baking during open hours, and helping you pick things out of the big case in front. They are awesome. If you're from out of town, know there's rarely a line out the door on Wed, Thurs or Fri, but Sat and Sun are busy, so do what I do and bring your kindle or paper to read while you wait in line. It is always worth the wait.“
“We hosted my son’s communion party at Porretta’s last May and we were very satisfied with everything, so we decided to cater for my mother’s birthday party. We ordered a few days prior and John was able to accommodate us in spite of the short notice. We had it delivered on time and with care. All the food was delicious but our guests especially raved about the Rigatoni Vodka and the mini meatballs.I am already planning our next celebration and will be using Porrettas catering once again!“
“Ok, I have a newfound faith in Mr. Stacks. Mary was amazing today. I took my nephew to chat and eat today, we showed up 15 minutes to close, but Mary accommodated us and allowed us in for a late lunch. I ordered a patty melt with and blended tea. My nephew was unsure about his order, so Mary assured him the southwest chicken sandwich was the way to go!! She was not wrong at all!!! The food was delicious, and the service was immaculately performed. We will be back, and I recommend this place as a true winner.“
“Giordano’s is Chicago pizza! They have a few location in Chicago, this one is in Rosemont about a mile from O’Hare…The place has a relaxed atmosphere and a full bar- several beers on tap served in tall glasses.I got the Chicago classic of course (deep dish with pepperoni, mushroom, green pepper, and onion). Please understand that when you order a deep dish pizza, it takes longer to cook but it is worth the wait! I spent $40 for a small pizza (feeds 2 but I wanted leftovers for later) and a beer. Sure, it’s more expensive than Pizza Hut, but this is NOT Pizza Hut!The pie was awesome as usual- over an inch thick, great sauce flavor, and a nice tall crispy edge crust. Veggies were not soggy and the cheese was melted perfectly- you could eat right away without burning your mouth- a sign that your pie is cooked perfectly! They have takeout and delivery, and offer a whole bunch of dishes that would satisfy anyone you bring here.My server Phyllis was awesome- she made sure I knew what I was ordering (I guess a lot of people think a classic pizza is just cheese LOL) and had a great personality!Restrooms were clean, which is also important! If you come to Chicago, you MUST eat and Giordano’s!“
“2nd time there and loving the food, experience and the staff/owner.Cute place and good vibe. First round was with the Brie, prosciutto, green apple sandwiches...mmmm mmmm good. Tonight I took wifey out for date night and got the charcuterie for 2. Awesome selection, great flavors, nice presentation. Owner stopped by a few times to check up on us. Loved the wine selection as well. Hidden gem in park ridge. Can't love it enough.“
“A fantastic place to have deep dish pizza in Chicago! A friend recommended this as we are from out of country. Would definitely come back again for their deep dish pizza stuffed crust. Their pizza crust is the best thing another the pizza (I personally don’t eat crusts on pizza, but here, it’s my favourite part). We also had a side of parmesan garlic fries and a Caesar salad which were a fantastic addition. Thanks Dimitri for the fantastic service!“
“I had no idea this was up the street from me. Aroi Mahk! The ingredients are really fresh and no weird additives, just good fresh Thai seasonings and flavors. I tried the Tom Kha and it was rich and delicious, all the protein and vegetables perfectly tender. The spicy basil is phet nit noy (just kidding, it's phet mahk but aroi mahk!). Looking forward to making this a regular stop for dinner now I know it exists.“
“Ever since they opened we go out of our way to frequent this place. We have other Thai places within walking distance from our condo but a short drive yields better quality Thai food and wonderful service. Ambiance: The place is super clean which is a plus. If the front of the house is immaculate, I would think the kitchen is the same. The food is amazing. Tiger Cry is amazing and they give a nice size portion compared to other places. Sweet/savory marinated thin slices of beef char-grilled is wonderful. Don't hesitate on the fried shumai- Fried shrimp shu-mai, served with light sweet and sour sauce. Awesome finger food. You can't go wrong with any of the curry dishes. This last round we had the Gaeng Masaman - Masaman curry and potatoes sauteed in coconut milk with peanuts and chicken. Great flavor. So many selections but all have been great! I love the fact you can choose the level of spiciness for each dish depending on your preferences. We go full-tilt hot as hell spicy and it does not disappoint! Pricing is a bit lower than your average Thai places and portions are more generous. 3 dishes for 2 people yields leftovers! Owner is friendly and I can tell he loves what he does and is looking out for the diners. This is the place you want to make sure thrives. Go pay them a visit.“
“This place doesn't miss. The Tuesday special is my go to. You can't even get a lunch under $5 anywhere except here. I would share some photos but it was so good I ate it before I could take some. The hot sauce is good. I wish it was a little more spicy but it has a really good flavor so I love it!“
“This place is amazing. This was my second time here and both times were exceptional. Chill atmosphere and very clean as well. Moe and Diar were both very welcoming and made sure we had a good experience. The food was fantastic and made to order so it was extremely fresh both times. Would recommend the fries with garlic sauce (most addicting combo) and the falafel. Can’t go wrong with schaorma here either.“
“This place is a secret GEM! The food is cooked to perfection and the texture of everything including the meat and salads is amazing. We ordered a lot of things for a birthday party and EVERYTHING was awesome. This place is a MUST TRY for everyone!“
“The best sushi to go! Sooo fresh and delicious every time-- it's melt in your mouth good. They are very generous with their cuts of fish. Nigiri is my favorite. Sweetest people as well! I live a bit far but this place is definitely worth the drive.“
“We saw that Chicago's Pizza offered a Mickey Mouse for children that they could build themselves and decided to take our children so they could have the experience. For our ourselves, we got a deep dish pizza, thin crust pizza, and fried cauliflower. We were all pleasantly surprised by the quality of our food, which was very tasty (and we had gone only for the kids' pizza). They're focaccia was superb. Unfortunately, the restaurant sent us Mickey Mouse pizzas that were already made (not made by our kids). Other parents will understand how your dinner experience is affected when you've promised a 5-year-old something all day and then that thing doesn't come to fruition-it ruins your dinner. The staff were nice and accommodating, and they did what they could to help, including bringing out dough balls to make it seem to our kids like they were making the actual pizza. In the end, it worked. However, the dinner was a lot more tense than it should have been feel (and contentious amongst the parents). This is a situation that should've been handled by management. If the place is going to cater to children, there are the sort of things that it must stay on top off. Most parents can overlook a flawed pizza, but not a child crying over dinner.“
“Brown Bag Seafood Co. is an exceptional dining destination for seafood lovers! The restaurant boasts a fresh, modern vibe that immediately sets a welcoming tone for a fantastic meal. What truly sets this place apart is their commitment to serving the freshest seafood available, offering a variety of dishes that cater to all tastes and preferences. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty fish taco, a refined salmon salad, or their signature powerboxes, you’re guaranteed a meal that’s both satisfying and deliciously crafted. The staff’s friendliness and efficiency contribute to a delightful dining experience, ensuring every visit is memorable. With its great atmosphere, exceptional food, and superb service, Brown Bag Seafood Co. is a standout establishment that consistently impresses. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality seafood in a relaxed and friendly setting!“
“It is great to find a vegan friendly restaurant so close to Elk Grove Village. Vegan shakes, chips, wraps, salads, desserts and cheesecake. Let me tell you what do the vegan chipotle in a spinach is my go to. Also great customer service.Vegetarian options: Clearly label vegan dishes“
“A Taste of Authenticity at Al Bawadi Grill!Prepare your taste buds for a journey of flavor and authenticity at Al Bawadi Grill—an absolute gem of a halal restaurant! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with the warm aromas of spices and the inviting ambiance of this charming eatery. The staff at Al Bawadi Grill is not only friendly but incredibly knowledgeable about their menu, ready to guide you through a culinary adventure.Let’s talk about the food—oh, the food! Every dish at Al Bawadi Grill is a masterpiece, crafted with care and bursting with flavors that transport you straight to the heart of the Middle East. Whether you’re a fan of tender kebabs, flavorful biryanis, or rich and creamy hummus, this place has it all, and it’s all halal! The star of the show, for me, was undoubtedly their mixed grill platter. It was a carnivore’s dream come true, featuring perfectly grilled lamb, chicken, and beef, each bite tender and seasoned to perfection. Pair that with their fluffy, fragrant rice and a side of freshly baked naan, and you have a meal fit for a sultan. Not to be outdone, their vegetarian options are equally impressive. The falafel was crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and paired perfectly with their tangy tzatziki sauce. And don’t even get me started on their array of flavorful salads and appetizers! To complement the incredible food, Al Bawadi Grill offers a selection of refreshing beverages, from traditional mint tea to freshly squeezed juices. It’s the perfect way to cool down and savor every bite of your meal.In conclusion, if you’re craving an authentic taste of the Middle East in a welcoming and cozy setting, look no further than Al Bawadi Grill. Every dish is a celebration of flavor, and every visit leaves you planning your next. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!A heartfelt thank you to the team at Al Bawadi Grill for delivering such an exceptional dining experience. I can’t wait to return for another culinary adventure!“
“The food was delicious. The chef really puts his whole heart into the food, a very large selection. When it comes to alcohol, there is wine and beer if you feel like it. The restaurant is very nice and spacious. There is room for more people. Large parking lot.“
“We had high expectations since all the reviews we’d read had been very positive. We were not disappointed. The apple salad was indeed huge and delicious and the tavern style pizza was perfect. Super thin and crispy and the sausage was glorious, not greasy at all and full of fennel seed flavor. Josh(one of the owners)took our order and chatted with us. He was extremely welcoming and kind. Even brought us glasses for the bottle of wine we brought with us. We also tried the Superman ice cream, which I hadn’t heard of before, that too is made in house and was delicious. There are 3 booths that fit 4 for seating and also just enough room for ordering at the counter and for people waiting for takeout and delivery orders. We went on Friday and were able to grab a table when we arrived around 5:30. Within 30-45 minutes, the other tables were occupied as well. We dined in since we wanted to try the pizza super fresh and hot. Wonderful experience and We’re looking forward to going again. Don’t miss out on this amazing pizza.“
“I am a very huge fan of smaller scale restaurants that can be found hiding in the city. Family-owned businesses are typically the ones that have the best food because they do not necessarily look into mainstreaming menus and recipes. with smaller restaurants, you can typically find amazing price opportunities as well as some unique food that has not been released to the broad market. It almost makes locations like this become a treasure if you come across them. Huge shout-out for Lola's. Amazing dogs, burgers, shakes! give them a try when you get the chance. For me, it was worth every penny!“
“Five stars for great coffee (I had a large latte), comfy setup, and nice staff. However, I did not like my yuca waffle. It was sticky and chewy, the consistency of a gummy bear. The place was very full and people seem to be enjoying their food, so I will be back and I will try something else.“
“My boyfriend and I love this place. It's extremely clean inside and we usually just place an order to go over phone. We usually will get chicken Alfredo or baked mostaccioli, but we ALWAYS get those tacos. They are actually very very good!“
“Super solid pre-cooked meals to help with macros and getting in quality meals to apply to an everyday diet. Also, if you are looking to compete or get into great shape, Fittingly Delicious meals will help you achieve the body you are looking for!“
“We come here every week and live a block away. Would you ever consider getting rid of your disposable plastic cups and getting reusable metal cups for soda and water? Plastic is wreaking havoc on our environment and microplastics have unknown health consequences. We bring our own water bottles (though I can't always stop my family from using the plastic ones ?). Heck, start a gofundme and I'll heavily contribute. NO MORE PLASTIC CUPS!“
“Came in to eat I have to tell u that right from the time we stepped in till we left claudia gave us the best customer service!! Her way of talking is outgoing and very respectful. She makes sure everything is fine. Loved her service!! Thank u!“
“I stayed at the Graduate in Evanston for a few days in July. I really liked the vintage style of the hotel building, and the friendly staff, but I was dismayed at how cold it was in the hotel because of the excessive air conditioning. I turned it off in our room as soon as we arrived and the temperature remained comfortable there during our whole stay. It seemed to me that the AC in the lobby, the restaurant, and the bar was actually set to a lower temperature than the heating would be in the winter. And there was a fire in the fireplace, with temperatures in the 80s and 90s outside and AC on! The Graduate Hotel management seems to be ignoring how important saving energy is right now, in light of global warming. Their blatant disregard for the environment sent a shiver down my spine in more than one way.“
“Pescatarian Italian fusion restaurant that checks every box: excellent food, ranging from well done standards, such as handmade pasta, through intricate dishes with creative flavors; thorough drink menu (enjoyed the Fuji Whiskey); ample portion sizes; pleasant atmosphere hitting the sweet spot between modern and classic, with comfortable seating; great music that was not too loud or intrusive, Spanish classical guitar playing instrumental pop covers (did they play that flamenco Final Fantasy VII Cover for our anniversary?); and well timed service. Hands down the best Kosher restaurant at which I've ever eaten.Vegetarian options: Pescatarian restaurant with a plethora of delicious vegetarian options.“
“An extremely unique slice! I got the buff chick and the burrata. Both were really good. What shines here is the crust. It's the perfect mix between crunchy and light fluffiness. It's the only sicilian slice I can recall in the city. My one gripe is I wish the portions were bigger, especially at $5 a slice.“
“5 of 5 I got lunch in Bensenville I saw this on Instagram Chalupas and cenitas Chalupas homemade tortillas red & green salsa onions and quesi fresco delicious I also ordered the cemita especial with homemade Chipotles I miss the papalo on it Was huge. I eat 1/2, and I take the other half home I will be back soon to try the molcajete The staff and service on point Thanks, see you soon again This restaurant is located in the plaza in the corner next to the dollar tree“
“Just had the best service ever! Gina was our waitress and she was such a sweetheart. More places need workers like her. We'll be back specifically for her! Thank you! Highly recommend her as your server. Made our experience here so much more enjoyable.“
“Meat pierogi are some of the best I've out outside of Poland. Potato pancakes are thicker, like they should be. And the sour soup was actually sour and not watered down for inexperienced palates (-:Kid-friendliness: Brought a stroller and breastfed during dinner no problem“
“Love this place. They're Thai. Fried rice is phenomenal. I order it at least twice a month. Their sushi is fantastic and you can customize. It's a little hard to find but it's right off the expressway but I would recommend this place. Their chicken satay also is phenomenal. It's so moist and tender“
“I got a Philly cheesesteak sandwich from Eastern Pizza last night and boy! Was it Delicious. New standard. I’m a customer for life and I want another one right now!Perfect amount of meat very toasted garlic bread and right amount of toppings“
“Art is the right word for it! Tried this place on a whim, as I’d never had a Chicago style before. We have some back home, but I thought I’d wait until I was actually IN Chicago to get a proper one… worth the wait!Pizza was so delicious and very filling. I’m a big, hungry guy and my second slice almost went to waste. Toughed it out because it was too good. Twelve dollars well and proudly spent!Parking: Parking’s right in front of the place. Walk a couple feet AND able to keep an eye on your car because you’re a tourist and a bit of a wuss (me)? Can’t go wrong with that!“
“Burger Moovement is an absolute gem in the world of halal dining! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the tantalizing aroma of sizzling burgers and crispy wings. The burgers are not just delicious; they're a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavor and made with the finest ingredients. But it doesn't stop there - their wings are a delight to the senses, perfectly seasoned and oh-so-crunchy. And let's talk about their tater tots - each bite is a symphony of crunch and satisfaction. But perhaps the crown jewel of Burger Moovement is their shakes - creamy, dreamy, and utterly irresistible. Whether you're a fan of classic flavors or adventurous concoctions, they have something to satisfy every craving. What truly sets Burger Moovement apart is its warm and welcoming family atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy a delicious meal with loved ones and create lasting memories. If you're in search of the perfect halal burger joint, look no further than Burger Moovement. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!“
