Philz in Evanston has a very roomy interior and a nice patio area. It’s built with more than average room between seating which offers a better sense of privacy while studying. The various food options are coffee shop yummy. But it’s also an ideal location to meet owing to its proximity to train stops.
Full disclosure: I'm a transplant from the Bay Area, so Phil'z has a very special place in my heart! This is the best coffee shop in town. Every single employee here is friendly and amazing. The coffee is so good! I frequent this place as much as I can afford and each cup is worth every penny. I love that I can also buy jugs of cold brew and k-cups to enjoy my favorite blend at home. Amazing experience all around.
