We were very pleased we chose this place right down the street from our hotel. The food was excellent, and the service was fast. I especially recommend the octopus and cannellini small plate - absolutely divine.The prices were also great. I would have expected to pay at least 50% more for a meal of this quality in the Chicago area.

The person served food to us is to not polite enough. She is arrogant and I didn’t like it at all. I felt there is some subtle racism while she is explaining things. Food is good but this whole fiasco didn’t let me enjoy it.

I enjoyed my lunch special of soup and half a sandwich with grilled vegetables. For me, the bread really makes the sandwich, and Trattoria Demi's bread is the tops. My companions enjoyed their sandwiches and especially the soup (chicken broth and white beans). I look forward to returning and trying other items on their menu.

absolutely loved. the atmosphere was perfect and the food was even better! the staff was so sweet!
Stopped in for lunch on a Thursday and it was such a nice experience. The lunch specials were great and the food tasted amazing. They sat us right away and gave us time to look over the menu. I ordered the 1/2 sandwich and soup combo and it was so good. It was also not too filling but just enough for a lunch serving. The prices were also very reasonable and everyone seemed to enjoy the food that day. Besides the lunch specials you could also order from their regular menu.
