“Visited with my dinner group, we go to a different restaurant every 6 weeks. Food is very good. I love the Chicken Francese. Service was slow.. several in my group did not like their dishes. One person liked the pork chops. Drinks were delicious. Atmosphere is very very nice especially for being in a strip mall. You don't expect to walk into a beautiful space.“

“This reminds me of the old supper clubs serving the little appetiser trays with the bread. This is one of the best places for a steak dinner I have ever been to! Great steaks, terrific and attentive wait staff and the best and friendliest bartender I have ever experienced. I rated it 5 stars but this place is off the scales! The char of the steaks is only something I could dream of doing at home. If you are not a meat eater, you can graze in the forest preserve down the street. Outstanding every time I go there!“

“My wife and I have been going to the Homewood Aurelios since we were teenagers dating in high school around 1976. They were still on Ridge Rd at the time. We have moved south but still travel up for the thick crust pizza. Bourbonnais location stopped making them.“

“They have been redeemed! I went back and did the tour. Trevor was very hospitable. The place has a rich in history. We tried rum, whiskey, bourbon and Pecan whiskey. The food was delicious, I had the bbq bourbon burger. He even comped us a very delicious bundt cake dessert! I described it as, "a mouth-gasm."“

“This place, what can I say that would give it justice? I am a truck driver along with my wife and daughter in the truck with me. We are parked over night and wanted something other than junk food. Gracie's was suggested by one of the workers at the Petro/TA and I told my wife about it. She being from Chihuahua Mexico and was Leary about Northern Mexican restaurants. We went, we are, we lived this place. When we walked in, we were treated with warmth by the ambiance of the place. Small, joyful and filled with love. The seating was close and personal, but very comfortable. I ordered the Taco el pastor with rice and beans. My wife ordered the Chile rellenos with rice and beans, my daughter ordered the Cecina which was seasoned flank steak with sides of beans and rice. I left full and satisfied, my wife ate her entire Chili and was reminded of her home. My daughter couldn't get enough and was trying to continue to eat, even after we boxed it up to leave. The only thing I would say bad about this place is, the stationary chairs aren't made for bigger people, but still I give this place a 5 star review. Thank you for the great food and the ever lasting memories.“

“Service from reservations, to dinner and service at the event was excellent. Drinks are very reasonable and surprisingly not water down as you would find that other bars. Food was good. Making reservations was a breeze. Only downside that was extremely disappointing was the band was an hour and a half late to start. Don't know what the issue was with the band but I'm not sure how that could be the venues fault. we're definitely coming back again!“

“We've been going to Lumes for years, it's our favorite breakfast restaurant. No matter if it was just us or a get together of family and friends we always get wonderful service and great food. “I have been trying to find a good gyro place since Alexander's on southwest highway closed. Most of the places sell something that looks like it came from Sam's Club family pack gyros kit. Mickey's is one of the best places I have come across in my travels throughout the U.S.“

I've eaten there before and it was great. I definitely would go back. The atmosphere is very interesting with many things to look at. The bathrooms need updating but are clean.“
