“Had a decent time here. The food was pretty good - the seasoning on the chicken was a bit salty for my taste tho. Most things here are self service and similar to most fast food places. Tried their chicken hot and was content with the spice level - definitely looking forward to trying their other hotter spice levels.“
“I came here around 3 it was a bit busy and I seen the cashier was a bit overwhelmed because she was the only one taking orders at the time. Once she served me my order she had the best demeanor she made sure I had everything I needed. I would definitely be back for the food and the customer service. nice atmosphere. I don’t know the young lady name but she was light skin. Feb 25“
“Had the Jibarito sandwich (new food to me). It tasted great! Rice and beans were also good. Very few tables in the place, service was good. It cost a little more than I would have expected, but the cost of restaurant food seems to be going up everywhere, especially in “
“The batter is unbelievable! It is fluffy and tasty. The chicken is perfectly done. I just couldn't believe the batter. I don't think I've had batter on chicken like that before. Also, they accommodated my request of not wanting thighs in my 4 piece (I am not a fan of chicken thighs ( thighs are too gamey for my taste). So I very much appreciate that. Since trying it the first time, I have gone almost every week now.“
“My dining experience here was great, our server was Matt, he was very attentive, made sure our experience was great. The food didn't take too long considering they had a big party going on while we were seated. Definitely recommend coming in here ! And ask for Matt he won't disappoint!“
“Probably the best breakfast I've had in recent memory. I had the salmon croquettes, which were very well seasoned and so, along with the cheesy pasta, created a very good counterbalance to the strength of the fish flavor. We finished the meal with the beignets, which were a good combo of not-too-dense and crispy.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance is level with the sidewalk“
“Everything about this place has a classic feel, but not like a played-out classic. It's more nostalgic with a twist. The food has an old-school feel that will make your inner child sing while satisfying your adult taste buds and sensibilities. The product is consistently delicious. Pop in if you're in the neighborhood.“
“I tried the Fire & Grill yesterday for take out order. I ordered 6-piece wings and fries in both Grilled and fried. I can say they were equally very good. Nice size and done just right. Juicy and good flavor with plenty of tasty fries. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They informed me that the grilled wings only 4 were ready and I could wait a few minutes for the other two but offered to give me a leg and thigh in its place if I did not want to wait. I took them up on the offer and the grilled leg and thigh was also very good. I will be ordering from here again. The only thing I would say is that I did not see a bathroom available for those that want to dine in and wash your hands afterwards.“
“The best chickens ever eaten in Chicago are here. A very kind and sincere person serves here. From today, if I want to eat halal kfc style chicken, I will definitely come here. Thanks for the sweet chickens. If you want to eat halal chicken, this is the right place. such sweet, tender and delicious chickens. Thank you very “
“Classic diner on historic route 66. Chicken basket was plentiful and priced right. Chicken was the juiciest fried chicken I have ever had, but not the best tasting. Still very good! The sides were off the chain. Great soup, mashed potatoes are a must have and the green beans were homemade. The service was a bit lack luster, but tolerable considering how dining out is these days (post covid). Definitely worth a visit.“
“Absolutely phenomenal south Indian food. We came in to dine in but had to get it to-go due to an emergency. The staff was super accommodating and the Veg Thali (sampler platter) was absolutely divine. My friends got the Mutton Thali and Chicken Thali and said it is some of the best food they've had in Chicago. Spice level is definitely on the hotter side of restaurants I've been to but that made for a great meal. Incredibly affordable too. At ~$15 per person and plenty of tasty leftovers that keep well, I'll definitely be making a point to return soon.“
“They get it right every time, the girls are super sweet and quick. I come here at least twice a week for the three weeks. Food is perfect every single time, presentation is always clean and I never have to worry about if my food is going to come out messed up or if someone’s gonna be rude to “
“First time trying this awesome location! So happy I decided to give it a try. Yari was so kind and gave me great suggestions to choose from. I love that this is a family owned and ran business. The chicken was juicy, seasoned to perfection and the sides were great as well. Loved the broccoli and sweet potato Fries. The add on was the IPA beer that was a HIT (media naranja). Oh yeah the design in the store was so unique! I’ll def be back.“
“I went there today and I had to write a review. I found them on Google and live in a near by neighborhood. The food is delicious!!!! The restaurant was very clean and hand sanitizers were everywhere. The customer service was great!! I’m so glad I found them and don’t have to travel the city for jerk. Keep doing a great job!!!“
“Grabbed an order to go since a warm March day. The order was easy to place but it took a while as they had several orders before ours that mistakes were made on. We tried the orange chicken and beef dumplings. The orange chicken was delicious and would have that again. The dumplings were good as well. Interested to try other items on their menu“
“I mean... it's a mall Nandos. They sat us and told us to order online. We were the ones there. We ordered. A bunch of people came in about 10 minutes after we ordered and they all got their food. We waited. Luckily I had snacks for my kid because our food took about 35-40 minutes to come out.I'd eat here again if I had time to kill because I like Nandos, but I wouldn't bring my kid here again because of the wait. They have high chairs, but there's nowhere to put a stroller that'd be out of the way.“
“One of my favorite fast food places. You basically can't go wrong with any of the menu items.I normally get the spacy delux chicken sandwich. It's my go to.And why not? Finish the dinner with a milk shake. My only comment and suggestion is to make the regular lemonade a tiny less sweeter. It is addicted, but I think it is too sweet.“
“I came here with a group of friends late after already eating breakfast here. The food is absolutely amazing. However when ordering food our first friend, by mistake, ordered to-go and we were told by the hostess we all had to order to-go. Our second friend tried to change and the hostess was insistent that we all had to order to-go. We all continued to wait to receive our orders in a delayed series and some ate while in store. Again food was amazing. We were told next time we should order in, we notified the new waitress we tried to change and the original hostess said that never happened. Either way food was great, hostess wasn’t. She also told a friend of mine to order the fries instead of the Mac & Cheese since in her opinion the Mac isn’t that good, Mac & Cheese is amazing. To each their own. Great food, not impressed by the hostess. Waitress was great.“
“Mexican food is my absolute favorite..... I accidentally found this place awhile ago... Now, this is the only place I go... You can taste the love in your food, no matter what you get ...Much ? Zacatecas restaurant staff.... I appreciate you ALL!“
“They did not disappoint. I ordered 10 wings, and even the leftovers hit the spot. Everything was fresh and cooked to order. It took about 20 minutes but that's ok. You have to be patient. That's how you know the chicken wasn't already sitting there cooked when you have to wait. If your order ready in 5 minutes, then it wasn't cooked fresh. I had been saying for years, somebody need to open up a Harold's around this way. I live way east now but this is my go to spot. As long as they keep it!“
“I was recommended this place by a fellow Co-worker, I'm so happy I came here for lunch. Just walking into the restaurant the place smelled great. The charbroiled chicken was fantastic, it's exactly how my great grandmother would make it when I was a kid. The chicken sandwich was mouth watering, that I wish I brought two. The Spanish rice and the Mac and cheese was very good. Can't wait to try the other items on the menu.....this is definitely a must have for lunch.“
“Best Shrimp in Chicago since 1917! I’ve been going to Trohas since the mid 90’s! I love their shrimp & clam strips! Their coleslaw is a notable! It tastes like no other! The fish chips are a treat! Everything is fried. This establishment is takeout only! They are the perfect Friday night seafood joint! I wish them continued success!“
“Delicious sandwiches at a great price point! I have tried their sandwich combo with fries and a drink a couple of times and have never been disappointed. Their banana pudding is also pretty good. The staff at this location is also super friendly and fast in getting your food to you. Worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood!“
“Another "not my first time here, but first Google Review" for this place! Visited a few times during their opening year and once it twice since then. Customer service is still pretty slow. I waited close to 10-min since a couple in front of me switched up their order a couple of times, plus there were technical difficulties with one of the registers with the transaction. During this time, a line formed of about ten (10) people behind me. There was another register but no one seemed available to step up. Maybe the staff could have said something to the crowd. Anyway, I wanted to try their Chicken Nuggets but I guess they don't have them yet or don't sell them here. I ordered a 2-piece Chicken Joy Meal Deal as well as a 6-piece Chicken Tenders (which noted they were new) - both items pictured here. I ordered the 2-piece Chicken Joy spicy and I absolutely loved how spicy it was. I don't recall it being that spicy. The gravy was a bit sweeter than I remembered as well. Chicken Tenders are better than your other chicken tenders out there and so do their sauces (ordered their Classic Dipping Sauce and Spicy Sriracha). Of course for my pie option, I chose the Peach Mango Pie, although I'll get the Ube Pie next time. Overall, I'll be sure to be back sooner than later, and hopefully service won't be lagging.“
“Always good, fresh and hot. The staff are always friendly and serving. Love it! My only issue was I ordered two side spicy tenders with my other orders and what I ended up with a half cooked non-spicey tenders.Other than taking the food out of the grease before time everything else was good.“
“We've ordered a number of times from Brasa Roja. The wood fired whole rotisserie chicken is super flavorful and fantastic. I also recommend the juices, particularly the Soursop with milk (if you've never heard of Soursop aka Guanabana, give it a try!). Some sides are not as great as the chicken which is the only reason it's not 5 stars.“
“Pretty decent Korean fried chicken in this area.Pickled Daikon Radish is a must with my meal the bbq/hotbbq wings had an amazing sauce on them! It is firey but soo good! Also ordered some Fried Shrimp and they were decent and the poop track had been removed. Friendly service I will say also which is important to me. We also topped everything off with a strawberry soju. Not my top Korean fried chicken place but definitely gets a pass!“
“The sandwich was great especially the I don’t like anything on my Chick-fil-A sandwich, but still without that it’s so good it’s better than Portillos and McDonald’s best restaurant ever that serves chicken sandwiches you change my mind that there’s any restaurant with chicken sandwiches 10/10 love it“
“Had been telling the kiddos from Mexico this was the best chicken they'd ever find and by from a restaurant in the US. They were skeptical, now they are not, they believe what their PAPA BEAR says, always trust a place closed on Sunday, God bless!“
“This was my first time at a chick fil a. I went to the drive thru, strange set up, they had an employee outside so I ordered face to face. I ordered a chicken sandwich and was asked if I wanted to add on any sauce. I asked if it came with any and was told it did not, so I asked what sauces they had. I guess she wasn't ready to answer that because she just named 3 and I see they had 7. I asked what the chick fil a sauce was like and I was told "it's our signature sauce" that still didn't tell me much, but I figured I'd try it. I was disappointed that they don't put the sauce on the sandwich, they just gave me 2 containers, but I ate while I drove so I just ate it with no sauce. It was good, but I probably won't be back.“
“So I doordash pickuped this order because I could not remember the name, lol. First of all. I want to talk to my fell doordasher, uber eats drivers, and grurbhub drivers.I am a driver as well on two of these platforms.I am appalled at some of the behavior of my fellow drivers. When I got there the cashier told me to accept the order before she gave me the order. She said that some of these drivers are screen shoting their orders as delivered and taking peoples food. Why? Why? If you can afford to operate a vehicle then find a way to afford food without taking the food from other people. Do not be mad at the people who have figured out either to worth the system, save money, budget, or just dont care but have enough money for that meal.To steal from customers paying you to deliver their food is just inexcusable. And you should be ashamed of yourselves. I am ashamed for you.I ordered chicken wings and catfish combo and a side of mushrooms and buffelo wings with a piece of carrot cake as a desert.I like to order and break the order down into multiple meals. This made three meals. All of it was very tasty. The lemon pepper added is very tasty. I love the mushrooms. They are very high on my list of best places to get breadded shrooms. At first I was a little aprehensive of the wait service. But I have a way of conversating. And it turned out she was aprehensive of me because of the situation of people stealing orders. So I felt like she was my foods body guard and I support her commitment to customer service. You go girl! Thank you for protecting my food until I got there.5 out of 5 I would ear here again.Wheelchair accessibility: One door in and one door out. Both push doors. Not automatic. The counters are above waist height. May need to ask for accomedations to receive food from the window. But there is a door that could be utilized maybe“
“Ordered Food to Go!! Great welcome, friendly service. Ordered Gorditas and Fajita Mix plateWas given all utensils and 2 different salsas. Home made Fresh Tortillas for the Fajita plate. Payed with Visa debit. They had live music and clean establishment.“
“Jolibee always serves some great food, their chicken and gravy hit the spot. They offer a lot of the franchises hits, and may be long wait times, some items may not be here, but it is a great restaurant. The burger steak, spaghetti, and more on the menu are also great to order. I recommended trying it at least once. Tried everything on the menu and can say meets what I expect from a childhood favorite.“
“I went today…I did not get the name of the person who attended us. I believe he is the owner, he is very nice and welcoming. The chefs are kind with good vibes too. Overall Good vibes. The chicken is not dry, and the friendly fire fries are very well served and delicious. I know a lot of food places get promoted in the city, but I am happy to know that there is a good chicken place here in Forest Park, IL. The food is well priced, and not expensive. To anyone who wants a delicious chicken sandwich and amazing fries please go here. - Ramiro“
