“Stopped in with my sister (missed a bus had to wait) and I am so glad we did. We caught the last hour of Happy Hour and tried the wings... Amazing and the sauces served on the side is just a great idea. I was able to try them all. Not a bad one in the bunch. Will be back.“

“I'm a sucker for Heritage's Happy Hour Oyster for a while so had to circle back for the restaurant week. The whole experience was giving East meets West as it covers a good range of dishes/inspired cuisine. I was pleasantly surprised with how each courses was planned out, with very balanced flavor combinations, leaving me full but not uncomfortably stuffed. My favorite we're definitely the tuna crudo, braised beef and fiancier, hopefully that make the official menu one day. Overall great experience and the downstairs speakeasy space makes it so fun to eat and catch up.“

“As a food hall, the choices were pretty good, while the interior was just okay (nothing like Revival Food Hall with its unique signage and seating for every stall). We ordered the feta encrusted with sesame and honey, which was incredible! Other choices were pretty standard.“

For entrees Laura had the striped bass which was heavenly and I had the scallops which had a Cajun like presentation which enhanced the taste of the scallops. With just two ingredients this burger definitely is a front runner up for Chicago best burger. Lastly ended our dinner with dessert which met and matched the food expectations as other food.“

“The taquitos are quite good. And the home made salsas are fab. You need to try both! But the tomatillo avocado was my favorite. The drinks were nice and they have a nice local craft beer selection. The piña poblano was spicy and the draft margarita was delicious.“

“Hosted a big birthday party in the back room. They let us bring decorations and cake and Hannah our server was so wonderfully attentive to everyone’s orders and keeping them all straight. She let us adjust the music volume to our liking, and the entire staff was just so wonderful all around. Will absolutely be back!!“

“TL;DR - If you’re even slightly thinking about coming here, just do it. Revolution has the best beer in the city, fantastic food, and incredible staff.A lot of breweries in Chicago excel in making their one or two specialty styles of beer, and that’s it. Revolution, on the other hand, is able to guarantee high quality and incredibly drinkable beer across just about every style you can think of. I normally hate those dark, boozy, 15+% ABV beers, yet I drink every single one that Rev puts out and I love it. Their “Hero”-series IPAs will make even the biggest IPA hater second guess their hatred. And their sours (usually released during the summer) are so good, you will question how something this good can be alcoholic. Revolution doesn’t put out a beer that isn’t incredible, so you can pick a beer at random and be sure to enjoy it.Recently, the Brewpub renovated their space and, with it, re-did a lot of their menu. The space is cozy, yet upscale (the seating is significantly comfier than it once was with new plush seating). The new food is also really high quality - much higher than you would expect from a brewery. A lot of detail is put into plating and presentation (Mushrooms & Tofu, for example, looks like a piece of art), and still it tastes somehow even better than it looks. In addition to more upscale menu items, you’re also able to get a lot of that “typical” bar food here that fully delivers (pretzel, cheese curds, fries, etc.). The only gripe I could possibly have here is on the pricing of some of the food. This does not apply to the whole menu though, just some items that feel like they are priced higher than they should be (e.g. Lion’s Mane mushrooms, a starter, costs the same as the Mushrooms & Tofu, an entree, despite being significantly less food and sharing some similar ingredients. Why?!). If you can view this less as a bar and more like a nicer restaurant (which, with the renovation completed, is easy to do), then the pricing is a lot more palatable.The ambiance, food, and drinks are all great, but it’s the staff at Revolution that keeps me coming back though. They’re all so friendly, personable, passionate, and professional - they are the kind of people that make your night out feel special. My fiancé and I have celebrated birthdays, engagements, job offers, anniversaries, and so much more here because of how wonderful the staff are in celebrating and creating such a fun environment to be in. They make Revolution a place we want to go whenever we want to have a good time out. There are just too many people to name (Magnolia, Drake, Erwin, Makenna, Amy, Matt, just to name a few) - but rest assured that we love just about everyone who has served us here. So much so, that my fiancé and I are getting married here later this year!This is the easiest 5 stars I have ever handed out. I have so little to say about places that are “meh”, so the length of this review should show how much I love it here. I’ve come here at least every week for the last 2+ years, and I don’t have any intention of slowing down anytime soon. If you’re still reading this, please stop reading and start drinking, and do it at the Brewpub! You won’t regret it!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options here. “Enter from the cozy looking patio with wooden fence. We easily found bar seating for 2 without a reservation but it was mid-week. We had the asparagus and cheeseburger with an egg. The asparagus was surprisingly refreshing served cool fresh veggies complemented the hamburger.The burger was fantastic. It had well melted cheese and two patties on a grape bun with what seemed like crispy sweet potato egg was cooked perfectly for a burger not too runny and wet yoke did pop absorbed right back in to the burger really complementing all the flavors .“

“The hits at nettare were fantastic but the misses were also pretty bad. we did the tasting menu with the drink pairing and I would say it was very worth the price. it was a lot of food and they were incredibly generous with the alcohol. my favorites by far were the skate wing and the burnt ends. our server was very friendly and it was cool that all the alcohol came from Michigan. I thought the interior was really nice but some of my friends think it's too sterile.“

“I hosted a party here last month and everything about the experience was above and beyond. Isaac and the full team were so welcoming to our party which spanned in age from 9mos to 76. The other patrons were also so friendly and we had a great time. The oldest and youngest among us were able to enjoy the atmosphere and celebrate but leave before the bar got too crowded and the rest of the party carried on while the bar filled. Highly recommend for the drinks, staff, the crowd and the free juke box!“

“the staff at the robey are all great to Dee that works in the restaurant to Anthony gates that works at the front desk also mick that works upstairs . the food is 5 star quality and drinks are very good . the rooms are a chicago down to earth feel with shaded glass windows from converted office to rooms with a stunning view of the city . a must go to for your bucket list for places to go with two roof top bars up room and cabana club to give you that city view with welcome to the robey feeling .“

“An absolute gem.I reserved the back lounge room for my birthday and it was the best decision ever! It was easy to communicate via their Instagram, and the room was reserved and ready to go. They even let me bring a cake and hire a caricature artist to come! We played bingo, had delicious cocktails, and admired the decor and items for sale (I now own a rainbow pin striped shirt!). I love the outdoor seating spaces that they have.. decked out with lights and a fire pit that smelled so good! When you go inside, they have a lot of throwback decor, which I always love. The cashier was so patient with us and took time to answer our questions as my sister searched to find something that suited her dietary restrictions. It took us a while to make some decisions about what to eat, but ultimately, I had a fish taco and a brisket taco. The fish was just okay.. your typical fried cod with some basic toppings. The brisket was amazing! Their handmade corn shells were so good and fresh . The meat was tender and very well seasoned. My sister had the shrimp taco, which she enjoyed, and also chips and guac. They have various flavors of margaritas and other libations. It's a great place to go for a quick bite, especially if the weather allows you to sit outside. I'll definitely be back!“

“we had an awesome lunch/dinner here! the burger was awesome! the fries were thin and perfectly salted, super yummy! the garlic knots were SO good, the three of us ate the full large size-we thought we would have leftovers Lol. my party shared a truffle shuffle pizza which they said was really good, a parmesan cream based pizza with truffle oil. they had some old arcade games for free play which was awesome!! the staff was very friendly and helpful! safe to say we will definitely be back!! ☺️“

“The ambiance is so cute! It's a wine bar but it's very lounge and I love that. It doesn't give club vibes at all but if you wanted to dance you could! Very cute, sophisticated, and chic. It's great for an after spot after dinner or early plans elsewhere! The service was very nice! I do like the open tab vs immediately closing out bc I can't get service. Every bartender was attentive and knowledgeable. The best part are the taco trucks that arrive outside during the later part of the evening. My brand are tacos @damnthosesteaktacos on IG & TikTok. They don't have food so having them pull up outside is so clutch after having a few Frenchies . Unfortunate I have no pictures because I was too busy having fun! “Services very good! Cleaning person send me tampons when need it. They helped us taking pictures with Easter bunny, asking if additional coffee are needed. Being very nice to my 2 year old kid walking here and there. Just not a lot of choices for a $55 price buffet breakfast.“

“A Chicago institution. If you don't like Maria's then you probably don't like Chicago. That's fine, but why u here? Maria's is a great place to chill with a cold one. They don't have a huge tap list,but they do have a nicely curated mix of local brews. They also have old standbys like Old Style and PBR. Even on a Sunday afternoon they had good music playing.
