“This is almost one and only brunch restaurant nearby in Glenview. I went there on Saturday around 12pm for lunch and the restaurant was full of the customers! It seemed like all the families and friends were coming here after church.We were sitting next to a table that was celebrating the grandma's birthday who just turned into her 94 year old! It was so warm and sweet.Elly's Pancake House was for all ages, from kids, teenagers, young couples to 40s and elderly. This place is definitely being loved by everyone.I ordered Chicken and Bacon Waffle and my boyfriend ordered Skillet, as always, and he said Elly's Skillet is almost the Best Number 1 Skillet he've ever had. The Waffle was sooo great and their side salad was very huge. I mean, their waffle is really different than others - it's thick, crisp and delicious... Also it actually contains bacon in the waffle dough....Yum!We also had some pancakes on the side and it was good too.Only one minor thing that they can improve is their staffing. I think they need more servers, I didn't get a refill for my coffee during my entire meal. Our server was too busy taking care of so many tables.Nonetheless, I will visit this place next week again!Parking: Parking lot is large but always filled with cars! “Absolutely love everything about this spot. The staff is awesome, the food is incredible and the beverages and drinks are great. They even serve alcohol. Their soups & chili, hot sandwiches and pastries are exceptional. The source organic chicken and fresh eggs from from Harrisons; bagels from Kauffman, different dairy and butter from Wagner Farm, pastries from Bennistons and etc. Truly a cool spot to read a book, work on your laptop or just sit with a friend and chat. They get into themed items for holidays and go out to decorate. Also have coordinated events too. Kathy the owner truly knows how to run a great establishment. Very kid friendly and excellent prides for the value of what you get. Plenty of parking and a block from the library, train station and a park. My only grip is that the bathroom need a little more attention. They also have a reward system too eirh gracious cash back and a drive thru. Also have gluten free option. Great variety of fresh items. Truly a gem to have in Glenview.“
“The interior and vibe is amazing. Ladies who took my order were very nice and friendly . They even gave me to try their sample teas, so that I can decide if I want sweet one or not. Their earl grey milk tea is yummy , best if you try it without sugar.“
“This is probably my third or fourth visit in the last six months. The service is fantastic. The food is fantastic but the fact is you can never enjoy it in store. There is limited seating. But every time I’ve been there the two top three tops and six tops have all been occupied by a single person on a laptop. I kindly asked a person if they would share. They would not share. I know this is no fault of the owners. But maybe a sign should be put up so people that want to come and enjoy the food with families will be able to sit down.“
“The Churos were seriously delicious, crunchy, sweet and nutty. The variety of toppings and sauces adds to the deliciousness! The place is small, looked like its geared for to go orders only. Orders take about 10-15 minutes since they make it fresh every order. The staff was friendly, recommended!“
“Always love KFT especially when it's so close to me.And this location is a nice sit down place to study/relax with friends but is limited on seating.I always get the Wintermelon classic tea with 50% sweetness, but I tried the Strawberry milk tea today.Definitely recommend this drink for super sweet tooth people but this drink was wayyy too sweet for my liking. Even with 0% sugar, it tastes like it's 100% sweet so if you like less sweet in general, the strawberry milk tea is a no go.But the bobaristas were really nice and let me exchange for no charge because I didn't like the sweetness. Will always be coming back for my boba fix.“
“Glenview Grind is a great coffee spot. They have many drink and food options to choose from including smoothies, coffee, and sandwiches. Moreover, they have a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating as well. They also have a drive thru option which is very convenient. The inside is very clean and is a nice place to go and do some work. The staff is also very friendly and prompt when making the orders.“

If you are looking for a full breakfast, I recommend the Nile’s location, but this spot in Glenview is for carry out of their donuts and coffee.Joe Donut specializes in donuts that are the stuff of children and sugar lovers’ dreams—donuts with cereal, candy, and other outrageous toppings, but I prefer when they keep it simple and adhere to more traditional recipes and toppings (showing my age ?).
