“the potato pancakes are phenomenal & unlike any we have had. the polish plate was delicious & so much food. we loved the potato pierogies, cucumber salad, & the schnitzel. we will definitely come here again.”
“The food is amazing! We ordered the steak dinner and lamb chops and they were phenomenal! Seasoned and cooked to perfection! The mashed potato’s were sooo good along with the broccoli. Also got the Margarita flatbread and it was WOW!! Don’t get me started on the crab rolls. I could eat 10 of those. Finally we got the bread pudding and I was in heaven! Kids were even given Wikki sticks in these cute little goody bags to keep them busy even though they were super occupied with the game room. The chief/owner even came out and greeted everyone which I thought was really nice. It’s hard to come across good quality food and great customer service and this places defiantly provides that. Believe it or no, I was a vegetarian for 7 years even throughout my pregnancies where I craved everything but meat! Just recently started eating meat on occasions (I still get grossed out) but the steak I had last night I can honestly say I want to go back today and order it again ? called my mom, sister and some friends to tell them they have to try this place since we are always looking for good food which is so hard to come by!”
“We went here for lunch today and sat outside on their beautiful deck. The food was delicious and very different This is not an ordinary restaurant. We can hardly wait to come back with other family members.”
“Food was great. Traditional Korean food. (Pot stickers was not that great. Very thin)The place itself is very small and they have packed way too many chairs into this place. No elbow space. They would only seat you if your entire party is there. We were 5. But there isn't really a place for us to wait without being right on top of some other diners tables. A bit awkward.”
“This place was very good. The atmosphere wasn't bad, our waiter was nice and conversated when asked questions about the menu. The food was really really good. Truly enjoyed ”

“Went there with a group of friends last night. The place was so cute & cozy. While there are a lot of entrees to choose from we just ordered a bunch of appetizers & cocktails. Food was delicious & service was excellent. Great for a date night, girls night or just hanging with friends. It also has a very nice bar to just stop in for a cocktail. Check it out!”
“The food was fantastic, the staff was kind and friendly with great recommendations. The desert we had, the sticky toffee bread pudding was phenomenal! The service was perfect with timing and the atmosphere is comfortable and charming. This is a neat place to go to to catch up with friends and family or a date. Thanks so much for the great evening!”
“I like the music that plays here among customers. Matt and Casey are the absolute best! They have the best taste in music, and amazing food choices! Great people and service!”

“This place is so good. The person working was very friendly and clearly enjoyed doing his work.I got the “DAS BOOTS” sandwich. Very tasty, hope to come back again.”
“I love the food, as a vegetarian it's hard to find options when eating out and this place delivers. The prices are high, but the portions are decent. My only suggestion would be not to charge extra for a little extra sauce. It ruins the experience and I don't know if you gain anything by doing that.”

“Great guy, great service, and always kind to everyone. Plus he loads the plates up so you get more than you pay for.Lentil soup is the best if you haven't tried it.”
“These guys nailed the Indian-fusion food! Simple but excellent adaptations of classic favourites from Indian, Korean, American, Mexican, Italian cuisines (and then some!)We tried the vada pav (Indian burger with stuffed fried potato patty, spices etc) tacos samosa and chicken tikka were both delicious! Momos (potstickers), thin crust pizza, and samosa chaat (smashed samosas with chickpeas, chutneys, onions etc)Pleasantly surprised every dish done just perfectly with its own twist on the original. And lovely presentation. They have an ice cream station (not to be missed!)The place is casual, perky and fun… Absolutely try this place out.”
“Suliunik prepares unique flavors of Armenian food affordably. We've tried everything they offer and it's always delicious and fresh. The owner and his staff are so kind and welcoming.”
“There's something for everyone! Juices, smoothies, acai bowls, bagels for breakfast, ... Delicious and you can taste the freshness. Nice paintings on the walls too (for sale!). My kids like this place better than Starbucks!”
“Ordered Tonkotsu ramen, Kaarage, Gyoza and avocado sushi. The ramen consistency was great, Broth had a distinct but wonderful flavor and it was frothy which I liked. The toppings were also great. Eggs soft boiled to perfection and I didn’t have much of the chashu but it was also good. The Karaage was also good. Breading was great and they use dark meat which was a pleasant surprise.Gyoza was good too. Less crispy then most and I like that but maybe some might not.Sushi was also top notch. For some reason its not on the online menu but I highly recommend.I also had a taste of someone else’s katsu don and It was good. The staff are incredibly nice and considerate and there was not much wait for our food (Infact, some of the ramen came before the appetizers!)I only give the atmosphere a 3/5 because the sun glares through the window and it can be quite annoying.P.S. Big portions on the ramen so be prepared for leftovers! All in all, HIGHLY RECOMMEND for ramen lovers in chicago.”
“Pita Inn is consistent in quality and service. The business lunch special is great! I call my order in 10-15 min before arriving during lunchtime rush and it’s almost always ready when I walk in to pick up. There is plenty of parking in the back, no need to jam up Milwaukee Ave trying to find an open spot in front of the building. Perhaps management could place a sign showing that.”
“The best Mediterranean in Glenview. We've been ordering from here regularly since we learned that my eight year old loves their chicken shawarma (I do too). The owner is always very friendly and polite, and the prices are very fair.”
“Kong Dog is a unique take on a hot dog and very creative. We had the Cheetos and Potatoes half and half dog. Both were fresh, tasted good and had incredible cheese pull from the cheese portion. It is certainly a speciality kind of a place rather than a quick stop in for a "regular" meal however.”

“This is one of the only places in my area offering non-dairy milk as an option. The worker is super nice and friendly, she remembered I was a previous customer as well. The establishment is clean and the drinks are absolutely delicious. She also re-confirms the add ons and substitutions before she made my drink orders”

“We had a reservation for Easter Brunch for 11 and a high chair. When we arrived it was a bar height table. I mentioned it to them. They were very gracious apologized and corrected the problem within 15 minutes. This was my first time at the Oak at The Glen. Nice variety at the buffet, great omelets, crap cakes, paiella, lox and bagels, fruit, desserts. Nice selection for children. Everyone we had contact with was cheerful and seemed happy we were there. I highly recommend.”

“The atmosphere is very calm. The food tastes fresh. You can see them through the window as they are preparing so it puts your mind at ease with the cleaniness. The servers are very thorough, they came by a few times to make sure everything was good. Over all, it was a good experience. We cant wait to see more exciting items on their menu”
“Such a great restaurant, which is rare in the burbs. Can never go wrong and i go often n have ordered pretty much everything. Drinks are very stiff lol, just a warning ”
“Hackney’s made sure to have an outdoor igloo available for us for my 6 year olds birthday. He’s been battling a serious illness the last 4 years and can’t be around a lot of people when he’s in intense treatments. This made his birthday a weekend extra special, and we’re extremely grateful for that.”
“We hosted a meet and greet for work and our team had a wonderful evening and delicious meals! The staff and management are easy to work with, accommodating vegetarian and non-vegetarian requests. I would highly recommend the venue for small/intimate or large gatherings!! The outdoor seating has fantastic views and a relaxing atmosphere!”
“When I first walked in. I already was shut down by the man in the front (Possibly a manager?) . We checked in for a reservation and the man in the front told us he gave our reservation away since we were ONLY 8 minutes late. Plus, we were already there for a good minute. I understand it's busy, but that wasn't cool. But luckily enough, there was the cute blonde who seemed to figure the situation out immediately. Otherwise service was good and Micheal was able to accommodate us quickly. Foods good.”
“Came here for my sisters bday and we were greeted by Chef Danny and seated immediately. We started out with a variety of appetizers. We tried the salted edamame, the miso soup, shishito pepper, chicken karaage, assorted tempura shrimp and diver sea scallops. They were all super tasty but really thought the star of the appetizers were the diver sea scallops which had a perfect sear and wonderful gelatinous consistency, they were perfect. The tempura shrimp were also amazing, they were large size shrimp with a light crispy and crunchy exterior. The rolls were wonderful as well, the ones that stood out the most were the spicy sexy dragon roll, the flaming 1800 and rainbow roll. The rolls had Alaskan king crab and lobster tempura which gave them an exotic flavor profile and really made the experience unique. One of the best sushi spots we have been to, highly recommended!”
“Wonderful.Fresh sashimi, enough food......very nice for reasonable price. I strongly recommend this place for korean ⛳ golfers and group of persons from church or sports team members.Fantastic experience at this sushi place.Thanks.Kid-friendliness: Access....freeWheelchair accessibility: Convenient and wide parking space.”
“Have to thank the wonderful owners for creating this great hang out spot in Glenview! Was introduced to this neighborhood gem when I met up with a group of old friends for dinner. The array of dishes that were being brought & served tasted fresh and different yet the dishes were all homey comfort foods that you order in a Korean restaurant-bulgogi, seafood pancake and kimchi friend rice. The new dishes that hit different were the brisket salad & the rice cake soup! Then we noticed they had big karaoke rooms in the back with speakers, lights, monitors & videos the whole 9 yards. Fast forward two weeks later when celebrating my triplets 18th bday we decided to have our celebration there! Our server for the night was Ethan and he kept bringing the 24 teenagers trays of hot food-starting with veggie potstickers, jap chae, bulgogi & fried chicken wings! They also made a fruit tray for dessert & big pitchers of lemonade & sprite were being poured to all the guests! As for the karaoke the teens were singing everything from bohemian rhapsody, Bruno Mars, Sza & even Michael Jackson! They had all new songs on their vast karaoke machine! My kids will never forget this epic 18th bday! They let us bring an ice cream cake & decorate the room. We rented the space for 3hrs. The rates are different depending on size of room & number of guests. If you are looking for a cozy & fun place to meet friends or eat with your family try Ju Rang it will be your new favorite spot in glenview!”
“The elephant has been a contributor to Thai society and its icon for many centuries.[1] The elephant has had a considerable impact on Thai culture.[2] The Thai elephant (Thai: ช้างไทย, chang Thai) is the official national animal of Thailand.”
“We were looking for breakfast while on the Highway. This place was 10 minutes out of our way, but well worth it! This was the best French Toast and the staff worked together like a well oiled machine. They were all so friendly and efficient.”

Yard House
“Came here for a family member's birthday. The menu was updated and the food was very tasty with large portions. The atmosphere is energetic and fun. I would recommend more low-carb options but otherwise this place is fire ?. I got a healthy dinner regardless that was very tasty.”

The Kangnam
“During many of my reviews, I left my camera bag on the restaurant floor because I didn't want to disrupt their business by pulling up a chair for another table. However, the server here gave me an extra chair and took care of my camera bag. I've never experienced such hospitality in a restaurant before. And when I needed something, all I had to do was raise my hand, and the server would come over to me. -Seafood Jjampong Stew: It was really good. However, I wish they had more seafood. -Oden Soup: it was on the house. Even my daughter, a picky eater, said it was excellent. My personal opinion is that the service was top notch and the flavors were good enough to give this place a 5 star review. If you're a fan of Korean food, this is a must-visit on your next trip to Chicago.”
“A quintessential Italian restaurant ideal for a large family. Or a great place to sit at the bar. Great friendly service and well prepared food to go with nice selection of wine. Located in a vibrant stretch of Glenview that is surprisingly pedestrian friendly. Definitely worth a trip to the suburbs.”
24 Hour Restaurants
“On Christmas Day this restaurant was one of few open… and 24/7! They went above and beyond to fulfill my order(s) and were noticeably short staffed. Perfect job guys! Especially Ankur… the coolest.”

Nobori Sushi
“Ordered takeout from Nobori for an outing. Nothing fancy, just California Rolls, spicy tuna, and shrimp tempura rolls. All were excellent. Very tasty and fresh. I ordered during a busy dinner time and they still were ready very quick. I will be back to try the harder to make items.... Five stars.”

Manooben
“Manooben is a gem of a Japanese spot, with its cozy house-like ambiance and welcoming atmosphere. I indulged in their scrumptious udon, which was delightfully light and not too overpowering, along with their crispy tempura. The experience was made even better by the kind and attentive service from the lady who took care of me. Highly recommend this place for a solo dining experience that feels like home.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Absolutely a treat to have this place in Glenview. They have a location off Glenview Road but are also in The Glenview Park Center and a Evanston location. Whether you are health conscious, have good allergies or just like to try different thing... the staff and owner is sooo informative. They know all about their ingredients and products. They have seasonal items too and holiday themed too. Love the Smoothies, he wide varieties of available bowl and oatmeal bowl, great soups with cheesy waffle is a must. The spinach waffle is awesome and the banana bread waffle is a must to try! Also great detox beverages! You can find fresh pressed juice as well. Worth the extra few dollars for truly high quality ingredients and superior service. They also have a strong wifi if you want to do some work or just hang out and play a game of connect or arcade game or read. This spot is a must to visit. They do dine in, take-put and delivery.”
“I just moved to the area and was looking for a great Gyro. Wow, did I find exactly what I was looking for. Spiro's is authentic, delicious and the owners and staff have tremendous pride in the food they make for their customers. I was set on an Gyro but the owner made me a sample of the Bomber to give me a taste of what I will order on my next visit - the bread was soft, gravy delicious and the beef thinly sliced with tons of flavor. If you are looking for a delicious sandwich or fries, Spiro's is a great spot.”
“SOOOO GOOD, DELICIOUS!The cinnamon toast crunch and Ferrero rocher ice cream was terrific! Michelle, one of the owners, was an absolute delight and made the visit worthwhile! Definitely swing by, 100000% recommended!!”
“I like the music that plays here among customers. Matt and Casey are the absolute best! They have the best taste in music, and amazing food choices! Great people and service!”
“Go during the week! It is hard to get a table on the weekend. Food was wonderful. I had the eggs Benedict and fruit. Everything was fresh. Our waiter was really nice. I asked for decaf coffee and he noticed I was given regular. He switched it out without hesitation.”
“Went with a group of friends last night for some drinks and finger food. The loaded tater tots are amazing. The owner was very friendly and the place has great service!”
“Been meaning to stop in and finally had a craving for a good burrito. I was not disappointed! Great fillings in a lightly grilled tortilla, accomplished by delicious sauces to add some zing. It's served cut so you can enjoy it as a sandwich. And I saved room for a generous serving of flan that was amazing. It was firm and delicately textured rather than the overly smooth custard that I've experienced elsewhere and had a wonderful flavor that I really enjoyed.Do yourself a favor and try a visit. I'm going back, and I bet you will too”

“This place is soooo good! It’s currently almost February and I’m still patiently waiting for it to open back up. I’m basic so I usually get a mixed cone with butterscotch and girllll it’s bomb. My man’s got some sort of apple caramel sundae one time and oooooOoOoO, to die for!The absolute only thing I wish was different is the parking situation. If you go here, just park on the main road, don’t pull into the lot.The small town non-corporate vibes are fantastic, the service is quick and super friendly, the prices are sooo affordable. I usually spend less than $10 on 2 people. Everybody should absolutely bring your money here!Parking: The parking lot is extremely tight in space. There’s only about 10 spots in the parking lot itself. BUT just park on the main street and you’ll be fine.”
“I prefer Natural vanilla ice cream. I asked the music to be turned down because we couldn't hear our talking very well. Nice area to sit.Employees were very nice. Thank you.”

“Been a customer since 1978 when it opened. There have been a few changes in ownership over the last 10 years, but the food quality has come back to an excellent level again. Love the gyros. The meat, the bread and how it’s cooked, and the sauce are amazing. But their gyros are not the only food they serve. Make a trip . It’s worth it.”
“My family and a couple of my sons hockey team members needed a quick food spot by the local Northbrook rink. Couple doors down from Pure Hockey too, bonus. Food was fantastic, lots of different options and had TVs to watch sports. Quick and easy. Menu was huge from Pizza, sandwiches/subs, salads, pasta and desserts. Staff was nice too. Would highly recommend.”
“I had a great time at this CM Chicken location. The service was excellent and the food was really good. The fries were nice and crispy with a good amount of salt. The fried chicken was really good 10/10. The playlist in the background was really good too. It really brought me back to the mid 2000s. Above all I was very satisfied with the customer service. Very kind staff and accommodating.”
“Great beers and good vibe. Loved the service (Joe), beers, and friendly atmosphere. It accommodates about 25 people inside so it can be busy and crowded. During warm weather there is a patio with more seating. I like #2 Chalk Eater IPA!”
“I have no idea why I've not visited this place before now as I grew up in the area, my father had an office nearby, but we never ate here. And that was a very foolish misstep as Valley Lodge was really, really good. We were a party of six and thankfully had a reservation for a Sunday evening. It was early, 5:30pm, and we felt that we were eating with all the old biddies at that hour, but lo and behold, they weren't all old biddies. People of all ages and families were there and the bar on the slightly upper level was packed. Though, it's a small bar, but nonetheless, it was packed. It was packed when we arrived at 5:30pm and it was packed when we left at 8:30pm. The tables were pretty close together, but not overly so. It was all old wood paneling but felt updated. Think and updated ski lodge for reference. There was a fire in the fireplace which kept the room warm and cozy. We got your basic drinks, Diet Coke, iced tea and waters all around. They brought Italian bread and special Irish soda bread as it was St. Patrick's Day. The bread (I had the Irish soda bread) was delicious. Kudos to them if they made their own. We ordered a starter of the truffle fries. They were skinny fries with a little cheese and truffle oil and a side of a mustard alioli, which was pretty good. Three people ordered their cheeseburger salads. It's basically a salad with a cheeseburger on in. One of the three got a turkey burger in the salad. It's what you think...a cheeseburger (sans bun) on top of a salad. I think it came with a mustard vinaigrette, but you can get whatever dressing you like. All three said it was very good and the server said it's a best seller. The salads were pretty big and the vegetables looked crisp and fresh. Two of the people in our party got the Saganaki Burger. It's their basic burger with saganaki cheese in a pita. They definitely lit the cheese up in the kitchen and then put it out and served it in the pita. I got their Wagyu Burger from Australia. It was really good. I got mine with American cheese and cooked medium, It was perfectly cooked and I rounded it out with dark rye for the bun. I asked for mustard, but the flavor of the meat mixed with the American cheese, crisp lettuce and dark rye made the burger perfect without the condiment. The burgers (not salads) come with a side of fries, chips, and something else, but I forget. I got the fries thinking they were the frites from the starter menu and they weren't. They were typical fries. They were okay. but if you're coming here, it ain't for the side of fries, it's for the succulent burgers. There are many different options for burgers on their menu plus a myriad of other options that also looked quite tasty as evidenced by the orders brought to other tables. This is a must try at least once, but I bet you'll like it so much that you'll definitely be back and be back sooner rather than later. I know I'll be back soon.”
“We’ve had the pleasure of eating at Pappi’s for many years. The food is always fresh and delicious abd the owners are truly wonderful people. Can’t say enough good things!”

“They never miss to make great food in here, Italian beef is fire, and burgers are made well and placed perfectly. Whatever they are doing back there they are doing right. Only complaint would be the blond muscular gentleman seems to always have an attitude. If he sees this all I gotta say is chill out broski it will be alright ?”
“Very thankful that Glenview has a coffee shop that can hold its own amongst some of the heaviest hitters. Glenview Grind any day over the other places. White Mocha Latte is probably one of the best I’ve ”
“I do like Culver’s fish sandwich. My sister went to pick up 3 sandwiches for my dad, myself and my sister. When she got home I put my hand in the bag to get sandwich out and felt something warm and in just a wrapper was my fish without a bun. I felt like I was in a horror movie about to unwrap a warm heart or something. Who was the dipshit that did that? My sister always ask for a hamburger bun because I do not like the thick bun the fish comes with. To all workers at Culver’s please pay attention when an order is placed.”
“E When in Glenview, this is my go-to cafe. The smoothies ..yum! The coffee...double yum! The avocado bread...triple yum! And if you're under the weather, the healing latte is exactly what you need!”
“Me and my wife ate dinner at this Jimmy John's location. I ordered an 8 inch Hunters club and my wife a spicy Italian. The dinner was awesome, the service was outstanding and proof once again that no matter what Jimmy John's you visit they are the best place for delicious subs !!!!”
“This particular location is my first choice always. The manager A.J. and his staff are unique. They are so friendly and personable. They are quick at the drive thru and counter, and the store is always decorated, nicely displayed and clean! EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE! ”
“I’ve been going to Steak & Shake for years with my family. This location in Glenview is my go to destination because we live in Glenview. You can order what you need on the computer inside. They also have an amazing app that gives rewards and points as often as you dine inn. This specific location is always very clean and organized. I always see their staff smile and bring your order to the table.Parking: Very nice parking lotKid-friendliness: They are very kid friendly overall . They have cute foldable hats with crayons you can have your child color and put on their own hat. It’s a place that you defiantly know they will make your burger just they way your kid will enjoy it. The entire family is eating burgers and are happy ?”
“After working a 14 hour shift and seeing they open at 5:30am you'd think that they'd have people in the store and have things going. The food is always good through the day but when I see an open time of 5:30 I expect there to be service at 5:30, not someone just showing up to start prep at 5:30.On top of that, I can hear people inside as I sit in the drive-thru waiting for some kind of service. I call, nobody answers. I go through the drive-thru and nobody responds. If you can't keep your hours of operation, then change them to a time that can be properly managed.Other than my exhausted and hungry rant, it's otherwise good. Friendly staff and the food is always hot and properly made. I recommend this one.Update: Not a fluke situation. They should simply change their hours if they can't open this early.”
“The staff at this location is very nice. Every morning they bring my coffee to the car for curbside pickup because the location has no drive thru per the village rules.”
“Wow, this particular Jimmy John’s location provides Unbelievably Exceptional customer service across the board, Above-and-Beyond their regularly good customer service. ‘Not only great sandwiches— butRogelio and Christyshan ( the associates on this specific visit) were so Kind and polite; and clearly knew the establishment’s products to make what turned out to be an excellent choice for myself, my Mom and our ‘older’ friend. My Mom loved the turkey sandwich with provolone ( I am sorry, I forgot the name of the sandwich / number) ; I love the Veggie and our friend loved the Spicy Italian. Bread is delicious— that ‘just right’ soft ( but Never soggy!). Sandwiches are well- seasoned (of course varying on the type of sandwich) but not overly- so.Both associates were very kind — even close to their closing time full of energy and treated me as a valued customer.Store clean and nice ambiance; dine-in available too.Thank you!Vegetarian options: I had the Veggie with advacado and provolone— delicious and perfectly satiating but Not ‘overly so;’ feel full but no unpleasant aftertaste etc. It was just right— especially for this weather.Kid-friendliness: I did not have the children I care for with me on This specific night but — this Jimmy John’s perfect for kids ; can even eat right outside ( town benches). Very friendly associates — Rogelio and Christyshan on this occasion for me.”
“I am a procrastinator and ordered last-minute combo boxes twice this week and I was amazed at the speed they prepared the food. They took the stress away from me and I really loved that they tried to make it happen for me TWICE ( Tuesday and Thursday of this week) and were very pleasant in the process. I did not try the food, so I am not sure how it tasted but everyone complimented on it, so I assumed, everything went well. Thank you for being patient with me and providing me with amazing service both times. I will be certainly coming back for more !”
“I have only been here a few times however, based on my experience, I found the taste of the food to be quite satisfying. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also appealing. The service in this restaurant was consistently reliable and the staff was friendly. The competitive service response time was also commendable.Additionally, its convenient location.Compared with other fast food restaurants where I had experienced I would give it overall 4 stars.”
“This is the second time in less than a month that they either gave the wrong sauce or none at all. That could be attributed to the fact that one person took the order and another handed it to me. (Presumably, without looking at the receipt) I guess it's on me to stay in line and double-check from here forward. Plus, even though there were no other customers, my food was colder than it should be. ??”
“When you really stop and think about it, there's a reason the richest and smartest people in the world prefer to dine at McDonald's. My favorite items include eggless McMuffin, steak McMuffin, also without egg, coffee, double hamburger. The workers are always so happy and pleasant bc they know they're actually improving the world and raising the quality of life of their customers. I simply couldn't get through life without McDonald's”

“We have taken several tour groups to Hangar Two by Tangled Roots Brewing Co. The food is amazing and the staff is friendly and extremely professional. We love a venue that we can trust with our clients. We plan to bring many more groups. Thank you to Caryn Z. Shulman and Earnest for treating our group as if it were your own family!”

“The food is fabulous! I have recommended it to family and friends and one had a party at your Wilmette location. The burger was GRRRRRRRRRRR8! OMG the chip french fries are to die for. So, many years ago when I worked in that area, my work friends and I would go there for lunch. Always good food and a fun sort of place. I highly recommend their burgers, so much better than the place on Lake Street which are always greasy. I can't eat them as they truly make me sick. So, i don't step foot in that place, but I am always ready to go to Valley Lodge. I had their turkey meal, OMG there was enough food on the plate to feed at least 3 people. Turkey was good with accommodating sides, dressing, cranberry, veggie, mashed potatoes and extra gravy. Yum, if you have nowhere to go this Thanksgiving try this Valley Lo Lodge you won't be sorry. “Old school shot and a beer bar with good no frills food. An experience dripping with history and nostalgia worth the trip. Make sure you get a DAB with your meal. Bring cash.”
“My family has practically become locals here. The food and service is really great and the farmstyle atmosphere enhances the overall experience. This is definitely a great place for a family breakfast.”
“My first build your own poke bowl restaurant and I was so happy with my meal. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and that is super important to me! The staff were friendly and helpful. I wish Poke Bros was in my hometown but, when I’m back in Chicago I’ll be getting another poke bowl from this great place.”
“We went for Friday fish fry and they didn’t disappoint with all you can eat and light breading on the beer batter. Excellent Clam chowder as well with a Reuben sandwich to go for lunch the next day. Also excellent service as well Plus great atmosphere will definitely be back.”
“Fantastic. Super fresh food that tastes really good. Pizza and pasta are both awesome. Portions are sizeable for easy sharing on take-out. Awesome place to support.”
“The interior and vibe is amazing. Ladies who took my order were very nice and friendly . They even gave me to try their sample teas, so that I can decide if I want sweet one or not. Their earl grey milk tea is yummy , best if you try it without sugar.”
“We tried this pizza place last night and were not disappointed!! Delicious!!! We have always been a Lou Malnati’s fan but wanted to try a smaller business. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!”
“Wonderful food!!! I love it all!!! I especially like their tamales and flan!!! The owners are hands on, super guys ! They not only create amazing dishes but they give back to the community. Great food! Great hearts! Five stars! C”mon down and enjoy!”
“Koffeelicious is a delightful coffee shop where I enjoyed rich, aromatic cup of coffee perfectly complemented by their scrumptious donuts. The combination of quality brews and tasty treats makes it a must-visit for coffee and donut lovers.”
“Small to-go churro place with lots of parking available. Churros are great with various options. They were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Nothing like a warm, fresh churro!”
“Been going to Love's Yogurt for at least fifteen years. The owner is so nice. My daughter likes the salads and we both love the baked potatoes. Of course the yogurt is the main reason we come- and yeah, the toppings. Did you try the fat-free muffins? Yummy.”
“This is probably my third or fourth visit in the last six months. The service is fantastic. The food is fantastic but the fact is you can never enjoy it in store. There is limited seating. But every time I’ve been there the two top three tops and six tops have all been occupied by a single person on a laptop. I kindly asked a person if they would share. They would not share. I know this is no fault of the owners. But maybe a sign should be put up so people that want to come and enjoy the food with families will be able to sit down.”
“Korean Spoon is low key excellent! It is a small hole in the wall in a small strip, and while their business is largely catering, they do offer dine-in (Tue-Fri: 11am-2pm). There are also prepared side dishes and foods, like various kimbab and Korean pancakes you can pick up and go. There are traditional soups/stews and Korean entrees/snacks offered. The yukgaejang and kalguksu are very good. While most other Korean restaurants in the area have raised prices and cut back on protein/portions, Korean Spoon continues to offer quality food at comparable prices. The owner is very kind and courteous. Really great place for down to earth homestyle Korean cooking and wish they had more dine-in hours. Check them out!”
“Damn fine restaurant, probably the best Chinese food in glenview. Highly recommend. I got crab rangoons, spring rolls, spicy calamari and the sweet and sour fish. Food was authentic and delicious. Will definitely come againVegetarian options: Lots of tofu options”
“One of the most fresh and clean Subways I have enjoyed my tuna sub! I highly recommend bc the veges and meats and cheese and breads are all fresh. The place is very clean. She added the fresh veges and piled it on which I very much appreciated. So good and healthful. The staff person was very attentive and nice. I will love to be back here all the time if I could. Thank you to this location and the owner and staff! Such a great deal and no need to cook or do the dishes or cleanup after.”
“The food here is outstanding! The donkatsu and stir fry were completely delicious. I'm excited to try more dishes. The ingredients taste fresh with plenty of flavor. Everyone is friendly, and my server, Anna, was very hospitable. I will be back! ?”
“This place is good. I have been here multiple times. The draft beers are good but beware that usually the one you might want they are out of. This happened to me twice in a row despite the request for two different types weeks apart. The food is outstanding and the chips they give you taste really good. It is hard to not fill up on the chips before the meal comes.”
“Very sweet little place that appears to be run by a family. The food was hot and fresh. Our party had one vegan, one gluten free and one picky eater. The restaurant was able to accommodate everyone and knew the menu contents very well. I am looking forward to returning soon.”
“Pretty decent for a hotel eatery. The staff is polite and the service is prompt. The food is a bit more than simple bar food. They have a decent selection and quality is there.”
“Since it’s a 2 hour limit they should bring meat consistently. Nothing was served to the table 35 minutes before our time was up. Waitress no were to be found and the side dishes were very very very limited.”

“I’ve been eating Subway on/off for 25 years and this is probably the best Subway establishment I can remember going to. Restaurant seems very clean and ingredients are fresh. There is a young man working during the day named Tiger who makes perfect sandwiches with care and great distribution of toppings/ingredients. Shout out to Tiger. I’ve been here a few times now and its consistently top notch (for Subway).”
“Delicious and plentiful food, friendly service, quick pick up. Will order again! But call them directly because grubhub was acting up bad for me, plus it’s cheaper that way!”
“Been going to this place for as long as I can remember. Food is always fresh, always consistent, and very easy to find something for any appetite. Lettuce entertain you, what else do you need.”

“There's something for everyone! Juices, smoothies, acai bowls, bagels for breakfast, ... Delicious and you can taste the freshness. Nice paintings on the walls too (for sale!). My kids like this place better than Starbucks!”
“I've been here multiple times craving for something different. It's a huge spot with live entertainment on certain days/nights. They make everything fresh so the staff makes sure to mention that the food is made as it's ordered so it's not going to be fast food. I don't mind the wait and it's certainly appreciated to manage my expectations. I've had the combo meals here with the smothered porkchops (delicious!) and the fried chicken. They have really good stick to your ribs comfort food and the portions are generous. I always end up with leftovers. If you're ever by The Glen, make sure to stop by and give this spot a try!”

“Onion loaf, onion loaf, onion loaf! Well, great Godfrey Daniels, it's the main thing that brings us here! Given the unruly competition amongst burger-centric places, the eponymous Hackneyburger no longer tops our list. Instead, we build our meals around the incomparable (although caloric) brick-on-a-plate by supplementing it with healthier options from the expansive menu. On this visit, I ordered half a crab salad (imitation crab, natch) sandwich on their famous dark rye bread with a cup of chicken noodle soup. My Missus ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with a side of boiled potatoes. We couldn't have been happier with our choices. We took half of the brick home to resurrect later in the air fryer. Menu prices remain surprisingly fair, and we always enjoy the friendly service. We prefer the timeworn ambience of this sprawling multi-room Glenview classic to the even more timeworn original on Harms Road.”

“I just ate a fried pork chop dinner, preceded by a salad and fresh-baked bread with butter, followed by a hot fudge sundae, for twenty bucks total. It was served in 3 courses. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked and in perfect proportions. Pork chop came with real mashed potatoes, tender soft carrots and green beans. The hot fudge sundae really impressed my neighbor at the bar and I ate all of that too but I will say the ice cream was a bit freezer burnt. Everyone should just order dessert more often. Awesome dinner, thanks so much”
“Pita Inn is consistent in quality and service.
“We have an amazing experience every time we bring our dog. They have incredible food and drinks for people and even have a menu for the pups. Here is Bella enjoying her birthday lunch ❤️”
“Good selection of sweet and savory pastries and desserts. Delicious latte. Delicious fresh desserts - we took tiramisu and strawberry quiche, latte. Prices are average. For two - have dessert and a latte for two - -$20. In addition, tips are included in the check without the client's request. ?”

“Go during the week! It is hard to get a table on the weekend. Food was wonderful. I had the eggs Benedict and fruit. Everything was fresh. Our waiter was really nice. I asked for decaf coffee and he noticed I was given regular. He switched it out without hesitation.”

“I’ve been coming here for years. The food came out quickly and service were great. Our server Nate is awesome and sweet, he is very efficient and fast. The wings are perfect, cooked through, moist and crunchy. Parmesan fries one of the best things ever. We loved this place and will recommend and come again!”
“This place is so good. The person working was very friendly and clearly enjoyed doing his work.I got the “DAS BOOTS” sandwich. Very tasty, hope to come back again.”
“I love this place+ the moment I heard Galbijjim was on the menu! You know how hard and rare it is to find this delicious dish? Everyone needs to try it at least one..level 2 spice was perfect! The beef intestine was really fine taste! Very clean and satisfying! I will be back to try the other items on the menu!”
“I love the food, as a vegetarian it's hard to find options when eating out and this place delivers. The prices are high, but the portions are decent. My only suggestion would be not to charge extra for a little extra sauce. It ruins the experience and I don't know if you gain anything by doing that.”
