“Stopped in for a couple cocktails based on all the positive views I read… and they definitely impressed. Solid cocktails, both classic and creative, in a laid back atmosphere. Seemed like a good group of locals in there and bartenders new folks by name. Memorable experience and will go again next time I’m in the area.“

“We walked in laughing too loud and inquiring after dessert. There were three cakes. “We’ll have one of each,” we said. Were we pastry chefs? Were we children pretending to be adults at the bar of an upscale restaurant? We took our time. We talked only with our spoons.“

“First time in and this place blew me away! Incredibly friendly and professional staff, and Michael helped get us set up with some great drinks. Tried the burger of the month and Firecracker burger with stye fries and all were solid at a decent price point. Vibes of this place are great, can't wait to go back!“

“Was in St Louis for 4 days visiting a friend. We were trying to find a nice locals type place with a good selection of cocktails and good atmosphere. Thanks to Google we stumbled upon this place. It was nice just to sit the in the corner, have a drink, listen to quality music and play chess.“
“During Christmas, Small Change transforms into the Miracle Popup! Santa definitely stops here. Check out these pictures/videos. I enjoyed the Snow Ball cocktail which was excellent. But business as usual, it’s a beloved local bar in Saint Louis, occupying the historic spot that was once Benny's Pit Stop Lounge for over 35 years. As the more casual counterpart to Planter's House (its sister spot), it boasts a creatively evolving cocktail menu using local craft spirits. Established in 2018 at Lynch & Indiana, Small Change welcomes diverse tastes with craft beers, non-alcoholic choices, daily happy hours, and engaging weekly/monthly events. A nod to tradition with a fresh, spirited twist.“

“We were recommended the vandy by a few friends of ours and we were absolutely delighted when we made our visit! The vandy has a great whiskey selection which is what we were looking for and it felt like all the prices were fair as well. They had a number of their own single barrel selections. So for our particular visit we just did a flight of the single barrels that they had to offer. What's neat too is that if you ended up liking one of the single barrels they would sell you one as well. Overall the staff is great and the environment was nice! Very laid back and comfortable.Parking: The building is a little difficult to identify right away because it has a construction company name on it. There is free street parking on the street in front and the side streets but no specific parking lot.“

“This place has all the right ingredients of a great wine bar. Perfect lighting, big chairs, table and bar seats, young professionals staff, great wine selection, and decent food options. Grabbed drinks and food before a show at the Fabulous Fox. Overall, we had a great time. What we drank / ate:- International Wine Flights: (4.25/5) We really like the wine flight options. Decent amount of wine overall with lots of tasting options. - Cauliflower Fritters: (3.5/5) Decent. Flavor was a bit "one note". - Prime rib sliders: (3.75/5) Beef was tender. Decent slider, but would have liked a bit more flavor punch in the sauce.- Sesame Encrusted Ahi Tuna: (4/5) Best bite of the night! Tuna was cooked a bit more than we were expecting... more of a medium/medium rare vs rare.“

“Yellowbelly was super accommodating and easy to work with for a larger group dinner reservation I made for a Saturday evening. Everything was perfect and the service was amazing. The food and drinks were delicious - not 1 complaint from anyone. Our waiter was amazing and was on top of everything. Some of the best service I have ever had. Couldn't recommend Yellowbelly enough for your next dinner.“

“Lauren set up a private event for us on a night Billys was closed. It could not have been better. We had apps, chicken wings, toasted rav, sweet potato fries that were so good we kept running out. Food was excellent. We had a few first timers there that were surprised that this gem existed on broadway. We had about 40-50 people at most. The downstairs bar with the closed in patio fit us fine.Overall atmosphere and service were conducive to having a good. Many who said they were just going to stop in for a minute ending up staying awhile.Billy’s will see us again for sure.“
“I had lunch a Beyond Sweet and I would highly recommend you stop by for a delicious meal. The owner, Dallas, was attentive to the patrons, the ambiance was nice, the staff is diverse, and the food was delicious. This is a different vibe for STL so go out and support this restaurant.“

“I’ve got 2 great, adventersome stories that begin with the following sentence, “So then I had an insanely delicious Narwhal’s frozen yum yum…”. One of them ends with reconnecting with my brother after being held hostage in the rear of a hatchback for hours. The other one: Chester Copperpot’s ghost finding his one eyed Willy in the grove with my help. Say what you will, but I owe a great debt to Narwhal’s. That’s what my credit card says.Dietary restrictions: Perfect for dry Jan.Parking: If you’ve got it, park it“

“Damn this place is fantastic. Date night, girls night, friends night...the atmosphere is sexy, the food great, and there's never been a drink that a single person we've been with wasn't completely wowed by. We love "Yellowbelly" on its own (especially for large groups/business lunches)- Lazy Tiger is a great addition to the place.“
“First thing to do is check in with someone at the ground level. (We didn’t know this part) Once you have your space downstairs, be ready to check out an illustrated menu of delicious cocktails. We brought friends from San Diego & they whined that they didn’t have a place like this. The staff is very knowledgeable & excited to tell you what they made for you. I will be back & I hope that you give this place a shot.“
“My very dearest friend recommended Sades without prior preparation A suggestion out of the blue on a Thursday evening I was very impressed Sadie was magnificent her daughter was lovely the music was absolutely old school with A touch of blues The drinks were awesome I will be going back.“
“The tacos at Rockstar Tacos here are the gaslight were good, just really expensive, maybe I'm spoiled from having street tacos on the west coast, but although they were good, I could have paid $20 for 10 tacos and they works have almost been as good. The atmosphere was good and the waitress was very friendly and attentive. I spent about $55 for 4 tacos and a jarritos, so just overpriced, but otherwise good.“
“I had an amazing time at Fortune Teller Bar located at 2635 Cherokee St in St. Louis! The drinks were fantastic, and the casual vibe was just what I needed. The cozy and quirky atmosphere made it a perfect spot to unwind. They have a great selection of snacks and sandwiches to satisfy your cravings. The craft beers and cocktails were top-notch. Plus, the unique addition of tarot card readings add an extra layer of intrigue. Cherokee Street itself is a vibrant and bustling area with so much to offer. I highly recommend this place for a memorable night out!“
“Visited Warehouse West once for Soul Food Sunday. I really enjoyed my time there. From the moment I walked in, I felt at home. The bar's owner, Ty, was super helpful and made sure we were comfortable. The vibe was nice, the layout and interior design was really cute (better than other bars I've visited in the area) and it was spacious. The drinks were good and my whole family enjoyed the food. I'll definitely be back. But next time in the evening for dancing and music. I highly recommend this bar!!“

“Good food, good atmosphere. Service was good, but split the appetizers on the check with each person, I had no appetizers and was charged 10 bucks for nothing. Not a fan of that.Parking is a nightmare.Parking: Street parking. It's nearly impossible to find a spot within walking distance. Worst part of the entire evening.“

“Beautiful place. Drinks were great and fast. We'll totally come back to hang out on the patio. They were very busy when they were there and it took a long time to get seated. It also took a very long time to order so just make sure you have allotted yourself when you go. The food was okay pretty standard. I had the carnitas which was pulled. Not typical so it was just a pile of meat on the plate. Drinks were great and fast!“
“I was in awe of how the space was put together. You can tell the layout was very intentional and conducive to hanging out with multiple groups of people. Not only did they have a main area, they had a few side areas, an area with art in it, and an area leading to restrooms with seats if the music became overwhelming for those with auditory needs. The venue was colorful and well put together. The art was tasteful and elicited conversation. It was overall a great time.I also very much appreciated that this place had gender neutral restrooms.“

“Wow!! I can’t say enough about how amazing my experience at Sister Cities Cajun was! I’m still here finishing my drink as I write this review (the Hurricane Kennedy is top notch). My boyfriend and I got the fried catfish basket and the chicken tenders basket so we could try both. All the food was hot, fresh, and delicious! The staff is incredible friendly and makes you feel right at home. We came in at 6 on a Friday without a reservation and were seated immediately, but it seems they may be very popular so I’d suggest a reservation. We will definitely be visiting again VERY soon to try some other dishes! Amazing stop if you want amazing, high quality Cajun food and service! Thank you!!“
“Mannn Janay, by far has the strongest drinks in the city so if you had a rough week this is the perfect place. You will find things on her menu that you will not find at no other such as a fried pork chop sandwich(make you say ohhhwee) and Salmon Crockett. There are TV in here if you want to chain a game or two. There's typically an older crowd here but on certain days it is very mixed. It is limited sitting space so it you want to guarantee yourself a seat come before 10pm.“

“We stopped in for lunch figuring this was just your regular Mexican restaurant. We were suprised to find the food unique and well cooked. I got steak nachos and the steak was thick and smoky. The drinks were incredible. A bit pricey but they use lime juice and agave instead of the average sour mix. Our bartender was Leigh and she was polite and quick with the drinks. Also the music volume was a perfect level where you can talk but still enjoy the vibe. Highly recommend.“

“This place is phenomenal. I don’t know why it doesn’t have a 5.0. Literally some of the best food I’ve ever had and I’m coming from LA. Every ingredient feels like it was hand picked - the flavor combinations are so perfectly balanced. The white chocolate mole is a work of art and a must!“

“We had a wonderful time here for brunch last week! The menu was a little smaller than I expected but everything was fresh and delicious! Our server was amazing and we were the last table there that day so she gave us an extra cinnamon roll which I thought was super sweet!I had the gnocchi and shrimp but tried a little bit of everything and it was al delicious! They use local bread from union loafers- I always love to see collabs! And everything was yummy. Def a great brunch spot on south grand!“
“My friend and I came down from central Illinois to a concert at the Pageant. We got there plenty early and thought we’d stop by this little place. It’s small, but honestly so perfect and inviting and it is extremely clean and very friendly workers and just the environment in general is very welcoming. The drinks were delicious and our server was fantastic. I apologize. I can’t remember her name. They also have a fantastic patio. That is nice and closed off. I really like that. Next time I come down, I will definitely return!“

“Stopped in for a weeknight dinner at the Black Sheep. Liked the ambiance, low light and lots of wood, but not so dark that you can't read your menu. In time for happy hour, but opted for the mussels to started which wasn't a happy hour option. Super garlicky and tasty! Had the beet salad with chicken for my main and I would definitely get it again! Love a good beet and goat cheese salad and the chicken was flavorful and juicy!“
“This is hard to share, but I won't lie to you. This place makes better brisket than me. This place makes the best brisket in St. Louis. All of the food is excellent, and the salsa verde is the best I've ever had, but I won't be able to look my wife in the eyes anymore after my brisket was beaten.“
