“I recently dined at Lams Garden and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The rice at this restaurant is truly the best in the Granite City area. It was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The service was impeccable and the ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting. I highly recommend Lams Garden to anyone looking for delicious Chinese cuisine. 5 stars all the way!“

“This place was great. The price was good, the food was amazing.I had the Nutella banana pecan french toast. (Without pecans.) The only recommendation I have is to add cinnamon to the french toast mixture. And if there already is some, there should be more. (I didn't taste any.)My girlfriend had the eggs benedict and enjoyed it. This was her first time having this dish, so she is excited to try it from other places. She was confused about why it came with tomatoes (and another topping..I can't remember). Nonetheless, she enjoyed it.We got my grandma the 3 pancake sample to go. She enjoyed it. Couldn't finish it.Pictured is my Nutella banana french toast. (Note the adorable personal syrup cup!)Parking: There was ample parking. We had no issues finding a spot.“

“I am traveling out of town for work and I was wanting pizza and I saw this place on Google Maps, I have never had it or heard of it. I can say based on my one visit this is easily the best pizza buffet I have ever had. There was a very large variety of pizza and they were all good that I tried. They have really good sweet tea as well which is nice. The quality on a pizza buffet is usually questionable but I was genuinely impressed by this, highly recommended“

“I travel I-70 a lot from Indiana to Kansas. Was looking for something different this trip, found it in Uncle Linny’s! Just off of 270, east of St Louis, in the town of Granite City. We had the Walleye which was outstanding. The salad bar is small, but clean and fresh. As you walk in there in, is a dessert counter that is irresistible. Great Mom and Pop place a short drive from the 270 bypass, exit 6.“

“We love Vin Hoa. They always get everything right and it's delicious but affordable food that you get a lot of. They are always friendly, kind, and considerate. You get hot, fresh food fairly quickly. Their Pot Stickers are amazing! Crab Rangoon, too. Call ahead, cash only. We've never eaten at the other Chinese Food places in town ?.“

“Had the sweet heat pizza last night, was probably the best pizza I've had from there in a long while. Everything tasted just right. Props to whoever made it. Only thing I wish that the dining room was open longer than 10pm, but I understand. I worked in food/retail for years and understand. And to the dude complaining about the pizza being runny, do you know what you're ordering? Let the pizza sit for a few and it'll workout just fine for you. You'd complain if you didn't get enough sauce either.“

“My husband and I have now been here twice in three weeks as part of a road trip, and everything is fantastic. We fell in love the first time and had to return on our way back through town. We’ve had the 3 different breakfast sandwiches, the frittata (beware, it’s massive!), and the coffee cake. The English muffins and bialy are made in house with whole grain flours and the sourdough is locally sourced. The frittata is stuffed with mushrooms and spinach/greens and topped with cheddar. It’s moist and holds together beautifully. The coffee is a solid medium roast, locally roasted. Cold-brew is fantastic and also local. Not syrupy or bitter. We’ve sat both inside and out and have had wonderful service and experiences in both atmospheres. If we lived around the corner, this would be a problem. It’s such a lovely little spot! I wish I had taken photos to share with the world!“

“Great date spot patio - wonderful outdoor atmosphere. Super attentive waitstaff (great attention, recommendations, and personality). Cool cocktails and some really good beers available. The food was outstanding! The menu was basically laid out in order of smallest to biggest plates; the snacks were very much snack-sized, the small plates were still plenty enough to share, and the entrees were generous. Very creative and fun cuisine. The white anchovies that we requested on the side of our (outstandingly fresh and summery) tomato salad were the absolute best anchovies I have ever had - if you like anchovies and they have "white anchovies" on the menu, order! (Our waitress was nice enough to check in the restaurant pantry to find out the brand for me, which was very appreciated.) Though we were stuffed, we had dessert and the chocolate cake we ordered was decadent and a wonderful end to a fun and romantic meal. Totally recommend Little Fox, especially for a spontaneous date night out, whether you want to graze and sip cocktails or get a full dinner.“

“Edit..we have been back since my review. The rude guy at the door is gone. Everyone is friendly and the food is beyond amazing!!Make sure if you want to try this place out, you make reservations. My friend and I decided last minute to try the restaurant out because I had read about it on line. When we arrived, we were informed that there would be a wait. I asked about seating at the bar because most places it is open seating. Let me tell you the host was so condescending that it was uncomfortable. There is no waiting area and he acted alarmed that I was going to approach the bar to get a glass of wine. He then informed us it was a 2 hour wait. After driving around forever trying to find a place to park and having much anticipation of trying Sado we just left. I rarely leave a bad review anywhere but I realize this place is new and hope they work on their customer service. I am sure the food will be amazing“

“There is nothing that worths less than 5 stars for this lovely restaurant! The food is great and at a too reasonable price given the high-class interior decoration. Our server was extremely polite and friendly. We were pleasantly surprised by this gem hidden in St. Louis during our visit. My partner was very happy to find his favourite dish sweet basil chili bomb (pad kra prao) with ground pork available and really delicious! If there are more than 5 starts we could give we will!“

“BEST Ribs! These are seriously some of the best ribs I have ever had. We had the Rocket Platter there were 4 of us and we left with a few ribs. The Platter included 3 sandwiches and 3 sides. The sandwiches we chose were pulled pork, burnt ends, and brisket. All the sandwiches were excellent. The sauces were good, the north Carolina BBQ sauce very authentic. The sides were BBQ beans, coleslaw and potato salad. Sides were all good, the coleslaw is very vinegar based no mayonnaise. Have I mentioned the ribs? Soo good. The owner and folks who work there are extremely friendly which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant is smaller so that might be a consideration for a larger group. They have good parking. HIGHLY recommend!“

“So, I'm highly allergic to coconut and pistachios, which means going out and trying new places is a bit hard for me. (Usually calling in and asking questions and making sure I can come in safely to eat).I've heard of Yellowbelly and wanted to go, but first had to read the menu and look if there was any coconut or pistachios. (Which, there are). However, the waitress we had last night was super amazing and went through the menu with us making sure what we picked out would be safe or replated differently. The food was beyond amazing! (My husband was overly excited when he saw the Hanger Steak). We had a few small plates, the steak, and a cocktail a piece for a quick dinner night out.Service was amazing and went above and beyond for us last night. Next time we come in I need to bring the staff a few cases of beer as a huge thank you. (I'm also in the restaurant industry so kitchen beers gifted is a nice gesture to the hard working staff).Sadly I didn't get our waitress name, but we will most definitely be coming back to enjoy Yellowbelly! Thank you all for an awesome dinner date night.Dietary restrictions: They have an amazing selection of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options for menu items.“

“We embarked on a journey from Nashville, Tennessee, with the anticipation of a St. Louis Filipino food tour, culminating at Kain Tayo. Although we arrived at 7:30 PM to find the kitchen closed, we were profoundly touched by Chef Sally's gracious hospitality, who allowed us to enjoy our final meal despite the schedule. A heartfelt thanks to Chef Sally, and also a happy birthday to her, for offering us an authentic slice of Filipino culture. Our server, CJ, expertly guided us through the menu with insightful suggestions. As a Filipina food scientist who worked in the industry and someone who critically analyzes Filipino cuisine with all five senses, I was eager to experience the depth of flavors and the essence of umami. Kain Tayo did not disappoint. We indulged in a diverse selection: crispy pata, Bicol express, three varieties of grilled barbecue, ampalaya con itlog, the exquisitely balanced Sinigang na baboy, and refreshing Biko popsicles. Each dish was a testament to the authenticity and artistry of Filipino cuisine, maintaining its integrity without succumbing to Americanized adjustments. Chef Sally's culinary expertise and CJ's attentive service made us feel like honored guests. Kain Tayo stands as a cultural treasure in St. Louis, and I will eagerly recommend it to all my friends. Thank you for an unforgettable dining experience.“

“This is a GREAT neighborhood restaurant! Great ambiance in the front room! Very good wine list; we thoroughly enjoyed the Manzone Gramolere Barolo. The food was excellent, and the portions quite large on the Chicken Marsala. One of the specials was Divers Scallops on a bed of risotto, and the scallops were perfectly done. Service after the entree could have been more attentive.“

“Great food and fast, kind and friendly service define this nostalgic gem in downtown St. Louis! The original home of the Slinger, a local favorite, that you have to experience, as once you do, you’ll understand why and be back for more. The quality of the food is only topped by the great service you receive from the three sisters who work harmoniously together, with just a little “attitude” to make it fun. It’s easy to understand this place has been in operation for 120 years, since 1904. Be sure to visit next time you’re downtown or stop in early before a day game during baseball season, as they are only open for breakfast and lunch.“

“Came out to the area for a work trip and wanted to get some sushi. I looked for a few places nearby and found this place. The photos of the sushi looked really delicious. Located right off the road. They added more parking space in the back of the restaurant, and the outside area looked really nice. We walked right in, and the lady greeted us right away. She was very nice. And the place looked up to date. Not busy at all when we came in. The waitress was very nice. Got our drinks right away and order as well. They had a special buy 4 rolls get one free. Ended up getting: 007, Big Mega (Jumbo Size) Deep Fried, Kamikaze, Lobster Roll (cooked), and the Jurassic Park. I want to say OMG!! The rolls were HUGE!!! But it's definitely worth it. It's probably one of the best sushi I've ever had. It's worth the drive if you're kinda far.“
