“Good breakfast place. Server took my order and never came back to check on me or my guest. I had to get a different server to help me. Ordered the perch. (Wasn't fully cooked) The Manager had a nice personality, the 2nd server was very nice, reordereda breakfast plate and it was good.“

“The experience is always good at Maria's pancake House. I did not sit in and eat on this particular day. I did a phone order and picked it up. took it home. The food was good. I like the fact that when I call and give him my phone number they know what I usually order and they can offer that to you. The person answering phone is always polite and courteous.“

“Out and about doing errands and we came upon this little gem named Bacon & Jam. 3335 W. 111th street Chicago. There was a rush of activity at the front door, two individuals with pajamas and slippers on, made me feel immediately like "There must be something about this place" people literally gett straight out of bed to come dine here, oh we must be in for a treat!!! And we were!!!!! Make sure your appetite is on 10, because the portions are sinful!!!! The food was good , we both had Omelettes with generous amounts of meat in them. I didn't see Vegan friendly options though. The service was fantastic , the pricing a little high, but on par with other places which these days run on the high end for a meal. That little container of bacon jam...Honey thats a little mastermind touch of flavor you can add on anything!!!! Yum to the 10th power of DELICIOUS!!!! A small place, with big warm appeal !!!! Stop, eat, And keep it moving you've got 90 mins. Before you get the Boot!!! Honestly you're served so quickly, you'll be done in less than an hour and filled to the brim!!!!“

“We've been going to Lumes for years, it's our favorite breakfast restaurant. No matter if it was just us or a get together of family and friends we always get wonderful service and great food. Once in a while we get it to go and the food is just as good and ready when we get there to pick it up. Thank you to everyone at Lumes for doing such a wonderful job!Kid-friendliness: We take our 2 year old granddaughter there all the time. She loves all the different kinds of pancakes ?Wheelchair accessibility: We take mom on Saturday or Sundays to get her our a little bit. She walks with a rollator and the staff is always patient and caring with.“

In general the food options are pretty good, but - I have many friends who are vegan or vegetarian. It's hard to find a place that offers any unique options for them Having a disappointed friend always detracts from a lunch date (A soup or another cooked veggie option would be surprising and delightful!).They were also out of the poppyseed dressing that really makes the salad it's for, that was another 2 friends slightly disappointed. We all did enjoy the tea options! Please get some more peach in stock soon :)Vegetarian options: There is a veggie wrap, does have feta cheese and ranch. It would be really nice to see a few more vegetarian/ vegan options, veggie wraps seem like the default option for every restaurant.“

“Still the best place to get your breakfast and I’ve been to quite a few. Large portions. I always have to share an order with my sister. We almost always order their seafood skillet every time we visit. I love their pancakes and sausages with grilled jalapeño peppers.“

“Servers were very welcoming and checked in periodically during my visit. I ordered the 2+2+2+2, with the stuffed French toast. The texture of the eggs were creamy, cooked just right. Sausage and bacon were tasty. The stuffed frent toast was delicious and needed no syrup. Presentation of the food was perfect. I'll be back again for sure!“

“The staff greeted my group with a smile. Efficient service. Nice food portions. The food is reasonably priced. My only disappointment was the coffee. I wanted a nice cup of hot, mild roasted coffee. Since the restaurant serves breakfast & lunch, I hoped the coffee would be great. I like black, hot, mild roasted coffee. I was disappointed with my coffee. It was served hot but it was weak(my only disappointment).“

“Wow! This place is AMAZING!! I've been a few times now. It is always busy but they get you seated quickly, the staff are attentive, the coffee is hot and fresh, and the food comes out quickly. Servings are generous, and everything I've had has been so tasty. The French Toast Crisp is a must try! And if you're a crepes person, I also recommend the strawberries and Nutella crepes. (I think they are called European crepes on the menu.)“

“I’ve been coming to stacks for years and I’m never disappointed. They have a wonderful variety of breakfast and lunch food, and the food is always delicious. The service/staff is wonderful and the place itself is nice and very clean. We’ve had Jen as our server quite a few times and she is hilarious and charming, and provides the best service you could ask for! She is super friendly while doing her job perfectly at the same time. “I know the owner really nice person but long while back had a rude encounter with a waitress. I was accompanying a friend to eat. Even though I already ate I decided to order off the kids menu so I do not go there just to be rude and order nothing.. Then the waitress mentioned that I do not look like someone that should order off the kids menu... I got up and walked it's been 7 years I have not gone... hope it is a lesson to that waitress do not insult because you will miss out on buisness and a good tip... be kind to everyone it goes a loongg way.“

The French toast and grits were lacking some flavor. The grits were bland. The Omelette was good. The French toast didn't really have a taste to it. “The pancakes are amazing! Never had such great tasting food! The hash browns and bacon were on point. I ordered crispy and they came out to perfection not burnt or soggy. The strawberries were so fresh and the coffee also had great taste no after taste or old taste. The servers were super friendly and polite. Super fast service. Over all amazing totally recommend it! “I’m from a smaller town and anytime I go to Chicago I stop here for pancakes. The pancakes are absolutely perfect. They are light, they are moist and the perfect size so I’m not over doing it. Definitely have the pancakes, eggs, bacon or corned beef hash.“

The lady took great care to make sure that she got all the details right about how we wanted our food cooked including crispy bacon, which is always a dealbreaker for me as so many places don’t do it. And the bacon was genuinely perfect. Not overdone, and not grizzly . “We finally were in town again and got a chance to dine in to see what this restaurant was all about. I've had takeout from the establishment before and it was delicious, so I wanted to see how the service was. The gentleman at the front when you come in was polite, and friendly. He walked us to our booth and sat us. Our server Cheryl came over and took our order, she was friendly and helpful. We knew what we wanted so my fiance and I both ordered the turkey skillet and I had mine with wheat bread and the eggs over medium. I loved how the inside looked, it wasn't dirty or looked like it wasn't well maintained. The food came out and just like I remembered with my takeout it was delicious. Our server came over to check on us several times and always greeted us with a smile. I also want to point out that they have plenty of parking which is hard to find at a good restaurant. I also like how well-maintained the bathroom was. We will definitely return as I feel there are so many other items on the menu that I would like to try. So the next time we're in town we will stop by and have ourselves some more great breakfast.“

“I got the fiesta skillet with chicken sausage instead of chorizo with apple cinnamon pancakes and I liked the meal except for the chicken sausage that was added and it’s only because they were patties instead of links. My daughter enjoyed her Oreo pancakes and my other daughter didn’t like her breakfast quesadilla because it didn’t have that authentic taste but she says she will try something else next time.“

“Went to celebrate with some co workers and had a great time, we got there as they opened and they were great to our group. The food was excellent, our waitress was amazing and we had a great time.
