“Lovely little restaurant with top quality food. My husband and I have been coming here for years. It's the "chipotle approach" to shawarma and falafel wraps and bowls, but the staff are always ready with recommendations and happy to answer questions. We love it, there's something for everyone. All of our friends we've brought here have requested to come again! Sam, the owner, is a wonderful person and remembers us by name. My only regret is finding out 7 years too late that they cater! “I went here for the first time last week and I plan on going back today! I wanted to bring my auntie some good Arabic food and when I found out this place had mensaf in a cup, I was sold. “I tried two savory crepes and they were great. I'm a hungry guy and one crepe is a good amount of food for the price. There were two different veggie crepes on the menu, which I loved to see. There was at least one other that may be meatless, the mac n cheese crepe on special. The menu over all was extensive and fun to choose from. They had Deep River chips, which are excellent. Will definitely be back for more savory crepes and to try a sweet crepe. My one criticism is that despite eating in, our food was served on a paper plate and only plasticware was available. Eating a crepe with a plastic fork is a bit awkward. It would be nice if they had actual silverware when you're eating in.“

“Fry the coop easily has one of if not the BEST chicken sandwiches out there right now. The seasoned fries are also absolutely amazing. The reason I leave the three stars instead of five in service is because of how unfair the takeout is. SIDENOTE: I have no problems with the workers at all. These are the bags they are told to fill so they do it. The workers here are great people. I have come to this location for years (since roughly the second week of it’s opening) and the last few times I’ve ordered take out, the serving of fry’s has been SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than the amount of fries you get if you dine in. I get it, it’s just fries, BUT if I’m going to pay roughly eighteen dollars for the same meal I should receive the same amount someone who is dining in receives. The photos include ALL the fries that came with the order (I took the fries out of the bottom of the bag as well and put them in there).TL;DR: great food, takeout portion of fries is MUCH smaller yet still fully priced“

“This is a favorite local chain of mine that makes legit Nashville hot chicken and serves up southern sweet tea to go with it. You can save the trip to Nashville to get hot chicken and stop in here! The medium spice is savory with a hint of heat and it goes up quick from there! The tenders are a great way to get a variety of heat if you want to sample the levels!“

“Nice little neighborhood place. The hours are odd so you have to check if they are open. I think they close mon-wed. I found this place looking for queso birria tacos. For $15 you get 4 decent sized tacos with the consommé. Great meaty tacos, I'm a big guy and I usually could knock out 8-10 tacos. I could only eat 6 here. The guacamole was big enough for me and my buddy. They have a juice bar inside and we ordered off of the server's recommendation. She recommended a pineapple drink and it was solid. We ended up getting a second order of drinks for the road. They don't have parking but you should be able to find something across the street. Place is clean and the cook wore gloves. I appreciate when a place is clean and people are wearing gloves. The waitress/server was very helpful and had great recommendations. She was easy to talk to since I don't speak Spanish. There was a bunch of online orders and takeout which in my opinion is good. That means there's no old food, they sell it all and buy fresh. Bathrooms were clean. I noticed the table next to me ordered a latte and seen they had an espresso machine. I haven't tried the coffee so I can't talk about the quality. Just that they have an espresso machine. I like this place a lot. Very friendly staff, great food and great amount of food for the price. Looking forward to my next visit. Thank you.“

“If you read any of the reviews for Al's Drive In online, people have a ton of nostalgia for this place. I find nostalgia for a restaurant can play a negative role for those who don't have the association, but that wasn't the case for me who only ate here for the first time today. The Chicago dog and super taco were solid but the combination fried rice was the hero for me. Never thought l'd find this kind of wok hei flavor from a Chicago Red Hots institution in Maywood, IL that would remind me so much of the fried rice I grew up with at my Chinese immigrant family's restaurant in Arizona. Honestly just throw in some bean sprouts and you'd have a 1:1 copy. I may not have the same nostalgia that a lot of the usuals have with Al's, but that familiar taste of home is so present in every bite of this fried rice. I'm immediately transported to teenage me devouring a large combination fried rice at my own family's restaurant after working a full day's 12hr shift in the summer and immediately passing out in my bed when I got home. I wish I had started coming here sooner.“

So far since then I haven't seen much hostility toward the employees unless it's from impatient customers who struggle to comprehend that they're not the only people waiting.Anyways, I've received exceptional service lately. Mainly from a very kind tall man with a beard and slightly longer hair. I wish I would've asked for his name.There's also another taller man who has a little stubble and glasses, he always greets me and calls me sir, which is cool because I'm actually transgender and I get a confidence boost each time I see him. Thank you. :)The food has improved as well, and their speed is top notch. I will admit Friday night was very busy BUT the employees handled it very well and professionally.Thank you for your hard work, guys. Anyone who says "fast food isn't hard work" is SO wrong. “Shwings Catering was phenomenal. We used shwings to cater for my son’s 1st birthday. Aside from the famous shrimp we ordered, sausage and pepper, salads, pasta , and chicken fingers. Everything was delicious, of course the shrimp was a HUGE hit! M was so sweet in helping us get a good menu and $$/pp. I’m the type of person to over order and hate when we have so many left overs , so it was helpful to have someone else’s input. “I went to this place with my family. The burgers were great and the fries were good too. The burgers are easy to bite into and have a good size. The service was great because all toppings were free and extra straws were provided. The ambiance of the place works well because they play nice music outside and it has an older feel to it even though you order outside the place and eat outside because they do not have an eating area. Though the food was a little bit expensive, it's definitely a good place to go to every so often.“
