“The baristas here are absolutely kindhearted. I have a lot of rough days and this starbucks is my go-to since I work on the plaza and they never fail to make my day a little brighter.I've had wonderful conversations and they give the loveliest little things that just make my day, like stickers, notes, and messages. I really appreciate the kindness and openness as I myself can be awkward and shy at times. When I open up I may speak a little too much.I don't mean to get too deep, but it really is the little things that can make the difference. The smiles, the conversations, the messages- some of my rough days are rougher than others and when I feel like quitting in life sometimes, the kindness in others keep me going despite the bad.A huge thank you to these beautiful and lovely people. I hope they are reminded of their importance as much as they remind me and others of ours with every drink they handcraft.?“

“An absolutely beautiful locally owned coffee shop in an area with few options. It's open and bright, and they host community events. The staff are friendly and helpful and the drinks (haven't tried the food yet, but hope to soon!) are very good!“

“This is my second time here at chi tiva. I visit the location downtown first and second time at the Worth, IL location. My experience completely different from the first time around. I visit location downtown informing workers my first time how they offered to let us sample slushy flavors nice jester….they did not inform me of dosage and explain how it may possibly affect first timer. With that being said I ordered 50mg coffee taking a few sips and telling my sister she immediately told me to go back to check out and order a 10mg let them know it was my first time. I can say my experience second time around at the Worth location with Lori she greeted us and explained everything we were interested in getting letting us know dosages and tolerance level. I mentioned at the end I really appreciate her customer service and explaining super knowledgeable. I told myself I would probably not come back but this experience definitely worth coming back when in town. Thank you!“

“Hopefully the franchise owner can see this.Both times- it has gotten completely packed Mashallah.I’ve always been someone to go to Starbucks ( prior to boycotting ) and other Americanized coffee shops and specifically enjoying the aroma and level of QUIETNESS or should I say INSIDE VOICES while working on some things on my laptop.But that’s just NOT the case at these places- and I’m not the only one sitting with my laptop doing work!!Why does the fellow brothers and sisters gather at coffee shops like it’s a family reunion and get so loud? I thought it was so rude seeing people freely put tables together to fit their party of 10 and stay there for hours while other individuals or couples can’t even pop a squat.I know many will probably tell me to go to the library or stay home if I want quietness and I think after these experiences I might just do that!It would be nice to enforce some kind of mutual respect for others or for coffee shop owners to create a quiet space for those that way to work on their work quietly while enjoying the environment ?I don’t have the desire to be a business owner but someone please take my idea and do it. “My favorite coffee shop around! The owners are super friendly, take the time to get to know you, and they really care about the local community. They also make some of the best dang lattes and drinks (better than Dark Matter, Intelligentsia, etc.). They always have great pastries and snacks on hand as well.“

“My wife and my go to bakery spot in Chicagoland. Everything we’ve gotten here is fantastic, and it is a regular spot we will frequent until we die! Order anything and you will not be disappointed. A short list of everything we love there: cookies, lemon pound cake, olive oil cake, Georgie cake, and their cold brew. The ambiance is also awesome for a date or to just chill with friends. “This is my new favorite spot in La Grange! It is located east of Noodles and Co. on Calendar. It is quite small, but a great place to pick up healthy smoothies and bowls. Most things are dairy free, or vegan. I particularly love their soups! Try them out. The staff is also extremely friendly.“

“Very friendly lady (reminded me of my grandma) in the front to greet you. Cute little local coffee shop. With great prices after COVID especially. Most coffee shops around Chicago area have raised their prices so was nice to spend less. Obviously i support small business' raising their prices to survive. That's life. I ordered a dirty chai and it was great! Great coffee. However was a bit sweet but that was my fault for rushing to the bathroom and not talking to the kind lady about what sweetness I wanted. ALSO the bathroom is very CLEAN. It was like a home bathroom. Please others keep it clean as well :)“

“My server demi was very attentive and got everything right in my very detail difficult order I always have crazy requests and she meet every need of mine. She was quick with getting us drinks and made us feel like we were the only ones in the in the restaurant even tho it was very busy and packed. She definitely deserves all the stars and the food is excellent there I got the biscuits and gravy and ciabatta sunrise sandwich they were both so good and full of flavor! “Ate at Harvest Pancake House & Grill for a late breakfast/early lunch and loved it! We got the country skillet and a chipotle chicken avocado panini with fries. Everything was fresh and delicious. I was surprised how good and moist the chicken was. Place was clean and fresh. Service was great and the waitress were all very friendly and polite.“

In these weird times, you just have to have a nice treat once and awhile. The owner was very, very nice and offered me Turkish coffee. I like my coffee really strong, but I'll need time to acquire a taste for that. They had a myriad of candies, nuts, homemade logs made with nuts and other yummy looking ingredients and other things i wished they had an English explanation for what they were. They also had beautiful serving sets for, I presume, turkish coffee. The owner said he plans to have more seating and create a little coffee shop. I stopped there after a walk in waterfall glenn with my dogs. What a delightful little excursion and fun discovery today!! I needed this bit of happiness.! It was a nice little gem to discoverP.s. The smell of coffee was invigorating and I got the drip coffee , a chocolate chip cookie, iced peppermint coffee and a raspberry lemon muffin!! “I always felt like a princess when eating there. My friend knows the owner, she’s such a wonderful person and the waiters there are also kind. Love the presentation of the food too. “Simple but great donut shop. Fresh donuts daily. The donuts are very good. I bought donuts at 5am. And was eating some of them at 5pm. And they were still very fresh. A couple were ate the next day. Let's just say, the place is massive. You can bring your entire family in here! My server was sweet, quick to serve and very attentive to me even with a couple of large parties inside. My food took maybe 10 minutes to prepare and bring out. I've seen reviews that said the price was not worth it for the food but that's false news. For $12, this crepe was massive. The strawberries used were fresh, not canned and they were super generous with the portioned. I do recommend they thin out the breading on the crepe a little more but that's it. My only fault with this place was that they don't serve a variety of teas or coffee. You have fountain drinks and lemonades but that's it. I would encourage the business to diversify their beverage menu. I will be sure to return for a panini! My friend ordered the chicken avocado and said it was delicious.“

“Cute local coffee shop. I got a cortado with coconut milk, my wife got the special "Witch's Brew", and our daughter got the iced chai latte. My wife and I loved ours, but our daughter said her chai tasted weird. I didn't know until later when she threw it away already, so I can't comment on what happened there. “My favorite "fancy" coffee shop because they have really amazing flavor combos in specialty drinks on their menu. But... for you "straight black coffee" people out there, this is ALSO a favorite. They have their own blends and they're gooooood. Like drive-out-of-your-way good. The baristas are the artsy type - while friendly, they're not overly engaging. Don't hold that against them. They're going to make you a delicious drink! And they're busy! There's always someone occupying a table, if not all the tables full (Saturday mornings). And that's nice - there's always a buzz. There's also parking on the streets - even if you park a block away, it's a sweet little "town block" as opposed to a city block. There's 2 locations! Try both!“
