“Came here for a private party event on a Sunday afternoon. Space is really nice and chair, tables and other seats were nice. They played good music and had two large t.v.s playing different games for people at the bar. The drinks were well made, but with so many people, they definitely needed more than just two people. But it was nice to have a small sitting area outside in the back as well.“
“I was there on 2/28/23 for their raffles and to try their wines. I have to say this is the cutest, nicest wine bar I've been to. Overall atmosphere was great. Wine was good, staff and even the people patronizing the place. all Great. will definitely be back.“
“This bar is a very nice GEM that has a great decor. The beers are ice cold and the drinks very refreshing. Taco Tuesdays are very tasty and the catfish dinner is Awesome. This is a very friendly bar with colorful characters. Watch the game from any seat or select a song from touch tunes and dance your cares away. “I had no idea this place existed before this weekend and I’m so glad I found it!! They have a ton of wines on tap and a dozen or so bourbons too. My husband and I are bourbon drinkers and I’ve started to get into wine more so this place was perfect.We did not get a chance to try any of their food as we had just come from dinner.We told the lady that helped us that it was our first time here and she walked us around and explained everything to us. She was very helpful.“
“La Voute is a hidden gem in the south suburbs. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our seafood- centric dinner. My appetizer was a special for the night. Mushroom risotto with scallops. The risotto was creamy and flavorful with slices of mushrooms. The grilled scallops were perfectly cooked. My husband had the mussels in white wine, which he said were delicious and garlicky. I had the salmon special and he had the mahi-mahi special, which were recommended by our waiter. Both were delicious and cooked to perfection. We split a crème brûlée for dessert. It was a creamy not-too-sweet end to a great meal. Presentation of each dish was beautiful. We will be back!“
