“Love stopping here for gluten-free/dairy-free treats ? Service is always great + the desserts are so rich + full of flavor. Highly recommend the matcha bar + the tiramisu if you like chocolate. I have celiac disease and it can be a challenge to find gluten-free desserts that aren’t highly processed. Love this place! ??”

The reason for coming there was for Friday AYCE fish fry for $14.95. It was very good. Ordered fried and baked cod. Both were very good, but my preference is always baked. I will definitely be back to try other food selections. They have a big food menu. And specials threw out the week. Be warned that parking can be hard to find.”

Now for the food... the samich was darn good and filling the pasta salad and tater salad was homemade and you can tell! Reminds me of a typical neighborhood deli in Chicago. The meatballs are a MUST! and are homemade. I suggest everyone swing by and try the great food and if yur new ya get to spin the wheel o stuff for a treat or discount on yur next visit! “I brought my mom here today and we both had Reshmi Curry with Eggplant-She had it with the chickpea noodles and I had it with rice. They were absolutely delicious, savory meals. We both cleaned our plates. And I’m a child-sized person, so that’s saying something.I certainly can’t complain about the service or the price either. I was also happy to find a restaurant that didn’t have any steps, since my mom uses a walker.”

“Super cute and cozy bakery in downtown Wauconda. The chai latte was perfect and the blueberry scone was fresh. I like the homey atmosphere and that you can see the bakery operations in back. Everything is clean and organized.Parking: Easy street parking (free) or park in the spaces across the street just off the alley.”

“They make their waffle cones fresh everyday. Their ice creams are so good in quality, got to try blueberry waffle in a waffle cone and absolutely loved it. Price is also reasonable. They relocated from Main Street to a different location now and has plenty of parking.”

“It's an area icon! If you like history. The foods always great there servers are mostly great. But it's sooooo loud u can't have a conversation. If your kiddos are sensitive to sound or anyone is hard of hearing use caution choosing times to go. Otherwise a great piece of history”

“Been going to this bakery since moving to McHenry this past April, we’ve only ever gotten donuts and more specialized desert treats but my boyfriend got my birthday cake there in July either vanilla or marble - it was SO good and I’m not a big cake person.. well the other day I decided to purchase his birthday cake there - got a chocolate cake with whipped cream frosting… best cake I’ve ever had. “I've tried a lot of things on the menu, and I enjoy everything there. You can pick your sauce for all the near items, but I think the spice and flavor are prevalent without the sauce. The sauce is just a bonus, in my opinion. You can't go wrong with the food or dessert at this restaurant.”
