We originally saw them by my house in Grayslake by the GCHS school in the summer time and man they are delicious. My husband saw them last night (it's winter time) and we had to swing over and get their delicious food again!!!! Love food trucks!!! This one though is by far our favoriteeee”

“I was there today for lunch and asked if they could leave the fried rice off because I could not eat rice. I realized later that she must have misunderstood me as she got very offended and said "if you don't like it - go someplace else." I exchanged a few words with her as I thought her comment to go someplace else just because I asked for no fried rice on my Plate (I cannot eat rice anymore) was very rude. We fininished our lunch which was delicious and went on our way. I have frequented this restaurant several times and have never made a special request so YUM YUM lady was always nice. If she reads this I would like to APOLOGIZE to her as I think her fried rice is delicious. I just am unable to eat rice at this point. A misunderstanding that could have been avoided.”

“This was my first time going to a Steak ‘n Shake. I really was impressed by the ordering method if doing it on the screen inside. The inside of the restaurant is nicely clean. The old fashion theme is really nice too. I got the triple steak burger. Dyammm, It fills you up! If you want to easy a lot, go here! The fries were also good but the cheese on top could have been a bit hotter. Overall, not a bad place to stop by, or even before you go to the movies!”

“During the 7 Friday’s of Lent we went to 5 different fish fry’s, and without a doubt Moretti’s was the best. Not only was the price the best, the amount of fish was the most without AYCE. Great French Fries, homemade coleslaw and plenty of tartar sauce. Another plus was Happy Hour Coors Light drafts for $3. I’d like to thank our server ( Will M. )for doing a great job.”

Got a chocolate shake and a large cheese curd. Asked if we could get the shake made w chocolate custard instead of vanilla, we were told no problem. Asked why they usually use the vanilla custard for the Choco shake out of curiosity and the employee explained why without any hesitation. He was young but was well trained considering who knew the answer for such a minor detail.

Food and drink took a bit but that's fine. Slow and well done over fast and rushed anyday.

We get our stuff. Chocolate shake was good considering my mother drank half of it in 10 minutes or so.

Cheese curds were the most freshly done curds I've ever gotten from a Culver's before. Not reheated old cheese curds, not undercooked or oversalted cheese curds, but hot and finely salted cheese curds.

Probably the best Culver's experience I've ever had and that it happened on a Saturday of all days - the day most employees of establishments tend to check out - is astonishing.

Will certainly make a point of visiting this location more frequently as opposed to the Huntley location. Am curious about their burgers if this is the sort of quality I can expect on occasion (at the very least).
