“This place is really nice and chill. Plenty of options on tap & even a few non alcoholic beers too! I met a friend there for free trivia! We had a blast. The bartender was sociable and checked on us multiple times. It's nice to not have to track down a server or bartender. Ask for Taylor if you visit and you'll have the best experience.“
“This THE go to brewery in Chicago area. They make you feel like family and friends. They always have new offerings along with classics. They have crowlers so you can take home a 32 oz can of anything they have on tap on the spot. They have special event space and an outdoor patio that will get busy as weather gets nicer. Enjoy!“
“I frequented over 67 breweries in Illinois and there is a man named Alex who is the head brewer and has amazing creativity there and has a big heart. I initially met Tony who is a Metalhead, kind, educated and a has strong beer recommendations to give all day. Amazing dude, he is the sales manager who doesn't make you feel anything but like you belong. I met who I thought was just a bartender named Derek, this man helped solidify this brewery for me as a top 3. He educated me in beer ingredients, processes and I found out he is one of the other brewers highly knowledgeable and kind. When I visited I met Kevin who greets you kindly and is a guy you must meet. Stephanie a kind woman who is great with people and what she lacks in height she makes up for with a big heart.I'm turning 40 this year and am excited to always meet new faces at this place. Charles is another owner who has his own form of kindness, but all together I love this place. They don't have a kitchen which I love but recently added pizzas which are a decent addition to have with beer. This brewery is such a warm place to stop and visit, their flagship is Midnight Fist Fight which is amazing. There is a great variety of beers. I got to meet the locals and connected with the BHBC regulars who are awesome.I'm a huge fan of the beer and service, it's a black owned brewery and I was stoked to support it.Their merch is I have purchased every shirt, hoodie, and hat they have marketed because Alex, Kevin, Tony, Derek, Steph and others there have made it a home for me. Every time I leave work, I hope to stop by for Alex's new creations. At age 39 I am a fan boy, they get busy sometimes like other breweries. Be patient and enjoy a top pick for product, staff and merch.“
“Found out about this brewery in Westmont and came to try a few beers. It's in a pretty hard to find location in some industrial area, the worst thing about it. Whiskey Hill is a funny name, as this place has beer, not whiskey. Oh well, what they have is still good. There's a pretty good selection including some hoppy and sours. A lot of breweries are in kind of strange areas. It's the case with this one. This is located on Vandustrial in a building it share with some offices and whatever. Lots of trucking companies around here. There's semis parked along the street. Anyway, the beers. It's about $6 a pour. It's not quite a pint but whatever. Even so, a pretty good price for a small brewery. Has many to choose from. Best was the 7 Mile Bridge. It's a Belgian Weisse with key lime, toasted coconut, and vanilla. A lot of lime flavor. This is almost like a sour to be honest. A pretty strong one at 7% ABV. There's not a whole lot on tap, but they manage to have quite a bit for a microbrewery to be honest. Get some beers on tap or take some of the cans to go. It's a small place but when it's warmer they have a patio. There's no food but sometimes there's food trucks.“
“Reached here by a mistake! And a good one at that ?Amazing brews and good music - they even played me a Ted Nugent (Stranglehold) on request ?We were hungry though and split from there to downtown! But the time spent here was just great! Quaint place for a good brew, good music and good company ?“
“Fantastic beers with an obvious goal to provide superior drinks with unique flavors. Great stuff. Nice facility and cozy outdoors.“
“Came here late afternoon by myself while on a work trip. I got two flights and they really exceeded my expectations. With a flight I always expect to not care for at least one beer as much, but I really enjoyed each one I got. As someone who primarily sticks to fruit forward IPA’s or pale ales, the coffee/vanilla porter was amazing!“
“After hearing about this family owned brewery in downtown Lockport on the I'm Fat Podcast,I decided to give them a try .As soon as you enter you get greeted by the bartender . You go to the bar to order your beer. He was willing to answer any questions you might have or even give you a small sample to taste. They brew on site and offer about 12 different beers in 5,10 and 16 ounce pours. There were many regulars sitting at the bar and I noticed most of them had the 1853 Orange Creme Ale so I decided why not. I am glad I did! Delicious and refreshing with just the right amount of orange and vanilla. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is no food options are available unless you bring your own or order from one of the local establishments in the areaOpen daily with entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights, this is a real gem.“
“Cool brewery. Good variety of brews. They have fun events in the evening like music bingo or trivia night. No kitchen, but you can bring in our order on whatever you want. They close at 10 so you can close it out and still get plenty of sleep. Lol“

“Milk Money Brewing is too cool for downtown Lagrange, but I still appreciate its' presence nonetheless. It's a local brewery with great drinks on tap, good cocktails, and yummy food. I happen to go there during sunset and it was brutal through the glass window, but that isn't so much their fault, just be mindful of the time of day. It's a family friendly place too, so feel free to bring your kids to get some food as well. I'd definitely recommend them!“
“Went for a Brunch/Lunch today and I am so glad we did. Super friendly pair as we walked in seated us straight away and got our drunks straight away. Great server. Girlfriend got the bacon and cheese omelette she liked while i got the French Toast that was awesome. NHL playoffs on TV but not too loud. Overall a great experience. Only knock was the red peppers in the pitatos but that's purely a personal preference thing i knew coming into it so can't complain there. Great beer, delicous cookie skillet for dessert is a win for us!“
“Great location for our hockey club holiday party. Dan and staff did a fantastic job organizing the food ahead of time and serving the night of the party. The food came out quickly & hot! Everyone loved the pizzas & other food served! Dan went above and beyond to make us happy!“
“We go to a lot of breweries, and this one was really good, just a bit understaffed. We did enjoy the beers (once we got them), and got some to take home. My favorites were the milk stout and the Flanders red. Nice large patio for when it gets warmer.“

“Excellent food, excellent service, highly recommend. I was there with my husband and parents for lunch and Amy was our server. She was amazing. We had questions about rum selections and the specials and she was on top of it. We don’t live in the area but pass this establishment on our way to the Paramount Theater and this is our third visit to Granite City…definitely won’t be our last!“

“First time coming here, a group of my friends invited me here for a get together. Parking here can be a bit of a challenge when you come here in the evening. I enjoy that this place is 2 floors. They have water stations, 2 bars, a warm inviting environment, beautiful live music being played. Great variety of drinks especially! I did settle for their sour! Restrooms are also clean and if you're hungry, they do have a food truck that's affordable. My only small complaint is that in their lower level we did see a big rat running around.“
