“A busy Sunday afternoon in and we sat at the bar. Had Pot Stickers as an Appetizer. A nice start Had a few of the in-house suds. Very nice. Especially liked Viking Red Ale. Did a Pub burger with Swiss and fries. Tasty. My friend did the French Onion soup as a main plate. He enjoyed it. Menu had many options. Service was amazing. Very attentive and friendly. Brant, out main server, but all the bar staff helped out. Liked all the historical photos. First time, but not the last time! A gem in Gem in Geneva.“
“Visited here on a Saturday evening, it was lively, there was a private party in the room attached next door, there was a black tie bar crawl event happening as well, not a empty seat in the brewery. Had the luck just as we arrived 2 fellow beer heads were closing there tab, 2 seats opened at the bar top.Started the evening with a 4 (5oz) flight (Pilsner, Goofy Boots, Hazy Skies, Neapolitan Stout).Ordered: Apple Cider Donut our (highly recommended, didn't disappoint)2nd flight: Oktofest, Blackberry, Spooky Boots, Peach Tea Slush-Up.I just couldn't resist, had to order the $14 sausage pizza (crispy crust, hit the spot, the lemon hot sauce was ok, idk for $9 though)The wait staff we excellent, great recommendations!For the adventurous ones, they have shots of Malort for you!!!Will be back again.....“
“Tropical IPAI hesitated to order this one for a while as I was afraid it would be too fruity for my tastes. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it’s a great Hazy IPA with a slight hint of mango finish. As a breast cancer survivor myself I enjoyed hearing the back story behind this beer. “Very pleasant place to unwind and enjoy a cold pint .Friendly group of patrons and staff . Alot of great events year round Unfortunately with no place to put your feet it's very uncomfortable because you either have to hook your heels on your barstool or let them hang . I would stay for more than two beers if my legs didn't turn numb. Other than that petty complaint of mine its a great place with great beer and music. I love hanging out there .“
“great find thanks to Yelp located downtown on the river the space is wide open with high ceilings with a lot of natural sunlight coming in. The beer selection was good with a variety of tastes so everyone was pleased . The upper loft area overlooks the river perfect for private parties“
“If you haven't been to this brewery you need to give it a chance. Energy city has found its niche in the fruit forward, smoothie-esque sours. And while all of their beers are delicious, the best thing we found is that the owner doesn't hesitate to not only let you try their beers, but also to promote all the local breweries that may appeal to you. The brewery doesn't provide a lot of food options directly, but like many other breweries they are fully open to brining in outside food. In addition to great beer and great service, they also have a nice, quality shuffleboard table. I think this brewery has quickly become my wife's favorite brewery in the area! We are definitely going to be regulars from now on!“
“A gas station microbrewery that has more than beer to offer. Better than bar food sliders were a treat. The beer menu is vast and if you get the chance, try the Clown Car cream ale. There's a newer addition that gives more space for seating which is a bonus. Otherwise, you might have to wait. The service is great on a night that isn't busy. While you're there, check out the liquor store that's connected. You can find high end beer, wine and distilled spirits.“
“This is a nice brew pub. We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and there were only a few people in the bar area. We grabbed a couple beers and sat outside. They have a small patio in the back with some sun protection. Staff were very friendly and the place was spotless. It was kind of quiet out there, no music, but then they brought out a portable speaker. Their playlist was great!I tried 3 beers. The first was the For the Masses (West Coast IPA). This one was good but I wasn't blown away. FYI I love WC IPAs. Second was the Sunflower (Belgian Witbier). I loved this one. Great beer for summer! Lastly, I had the Balto (Baltic Porter). This was my favorite, great aroma, good roast flavor and the malt was perfect, not too sweet.As we were leaving they were setting up for some live music. Definitely one to put in the rotation of all the great brew pubs in the area.“
“Great selection, best IPAs in the area. Everything they do with Citra and Galaxy hops is awesome. Large patio, food trucks on the regular and occasional music too. Always a favorite stop of mine when in the area. I've since move out of state but everything in my mind is compared back to how good it is versus a Riverlands IPA.“

“We had an amazing experience as always!!! Extremely friendly waiter, delicious food and cocktails. The GM stopped by our table and asked if we would mind if he took an extra chair. We said of course not, and jokingly said, "for $5 you can have it." Guess what? There was a $5 credit on our bill!!!! Such a great place, fun vibe, and yummy food and drinks, not to mention the amazing staff. It's our go-to place!“
“Great beer and even better staff! Love Noon Whistle for the variety of beer, hometown bar feel and welcoming staff. Our "gang" hangs here frequently. Love the rotating food trucks and events they hold as well. Keep it up and put the hot ghost pepper beer back year round please :)!“

“This place actually took me by surprise. I'm not much of a beer drinker but their beers were delicious and flavorful. Atmosphere is warm and welcoming with live music occasionally. The staff was helpful in determining what they think I'd enjoy since I had a softer pallet for beer. I don't frequent St. Charles often but if I have a chance to get back, I'll visit this place again.“

“Went to meet up with a friend from high school and as I sat down, I was graciously met by our server, Bella. As I waited for him to show up, she checked on me every so often to see if I needed anything and, after he showed up and we placed our order, she continued to check on us, even as the place was filled up on the upper patio. Food was very good, very nice atmosphere and our server, Bella, was the best server I’ve had at any restaurant I’ve been to. She was so attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I’m hoping the next time I go there, that Bella is working, she’s the best“
“Originally planned to stop in for a drink but ended up staying awhile longer because of how great the service and atmosphere was! My group was able to sit outside in one of the enclosed tables and there was a speaker to connect our phone to play music to.Our server Paul was the best! He had such a great personality and was thorough in explaining drink/food options. He went above expectations and easily became a local tour guide in presenting the difference between Portillo's chocolate shakes.“
“it is tucked in the corner of the strip mall so it took is a few drive bys to find it but once we located it.... it was worth it. The selection is good and the food truck outside was amazing . The music was a little loud to hold a conversation. The art work covering the walls was interesting I will say it will make you remember them“
