“Mostly the food was very good for real but I got a Gladiator burger that did not have everything on it that they said it would on there plus I asked for peppers and they neglected to put that and yet they put the top part of the tomato that has that brown circle where the stem was on it. I can't eat that and I don't want that on my $11 burger! and that was the only piece of tomato. it made me feel like they don't like me! Then the fried okra was overcooked tough and horrible.“

“I was curious about trying out halal burgers, which led to a pleasant experience here at Centro. However, I’m afraid that only because of my curiosity to try out Middle Eastern halal-grade food was I able to find this restaurant on the map, by specifically searching for ‘halal burger restaurants.’ I hope something could be done to better put the restaurant out there in the spotlight when looking at burger joint options, because it definitely deserves more recognition.“
“ZAK'S WINGS ARE THE BEST!!! I have made it an annual tradition to have Zak's wings and cheesy garlic bread WITH EXTRA GARLIC for my birthday. The hot wings and garlic are perfect!!!The menu is 100% halal-certified. They have a wide menu of items including typical Midwest American fare as well as Middle East cuisine.I found Zak's several years ago when I worked just a few blocks north of Zak's on Main Street in Lombard. I am glad that I did. Zak and his family are very friendly. They always welcome special requests.Parking: The parking lot is shared with the barber shop next door. Parking is limited during the day on Saturdays but fine otherwise.Kid-friendliness: All ages are welcome. Tables can be arranged for various family gatherings and groupings.“
“We arrived late evening after a long drive from St. Louis and were made to feel very welcome! We have visited a few local restaurants at home and the difference in level of service is like night and day…our local restaurants have a LOT to learn about customer service. The food here is phenomenal…and the best naan bread, ever. We waited no time at all for our food to arrive and it was actually hot (steaming not spicy!). We brought a lot back with us as the portions are very large! I would definitely recommend this place if you love Indian food.“
“For those that have been around the Lombard area a while know that the best gyros cheeseburger used to be found at this hole in the wall restaurant called East and West. Last night I ordered a spicy gyros cheeseburger with extra cheese and Alhamdulilah it was the best burger I've had in over a decade. They were generous with the gyros, the patty was fresh, and the sauce was delicious.“
“This place was delicious! We got the bbq chicken and gyro pizza as well as the combination gyro/chicken over rice. The pizza was made to near perfection, had a good crunch with an impactful flavor. The rice dish was good; it was very flavorful, but I think the meat to rice ratio was a bit off (needed more rice) and I wish the pita was toasted rather than microwaved. Aside from that I was very happy with everything and will definitely be back!“
